  1. Sami wins today's comment of the day. Everyone talking tanking should read this. Sami wins today's comment of the day. EEveryone talking tanking should read this comment.
  2. Apparently the Broncos put in a waiver claim on him too. WT...?
  3. You want something to write about, West should be a speculative pick up in deep leagues this week or next week he might be a top priority.
  4. Umm... This again? Seriously are you really trying to predict DST points? Now I've seen everything. Sit Baltimore DST? Did anyone have them penciled in? #1 rule your home team should not be emotionally connected to your fantasy football team. Easiest article ever this week Allen is ww #1 priority pickup. McCown might be #2 if you are streaming qb's.
  5. Menzel was not the better option, unless they would have let him escape the pocket. He was doing great vs Cincinnati in the first half but Pettin told the reporter at the half that he needed to yell at Johnny to stay in the pocket and that he did in the second half and he got killed. Pettin is inept at realizing how to win games with Manziel. McCown unfortunately will likely feast on our secondary. We struggled against the Rams and they are terrible, Cleveland is not as bad as they are.
  6. You know what, maybe we are "killing the messenger" with Mink. He is a company man and likely knows that he has to "put lipstick on a pig" so to speak. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig.
  7. PD96 you realize in the Rams game that Joe's line was missing starting LT C and G right? The same back up LT ranked worst in the NFL and the same one who crushed his knee. Backup C who has no college experience at C. Joe is also missing his TE #1 and WR #1,2,3 & 5 and RB #1 & 2 all in IR. I'm guessing you either don't really understand or just plain ignore these facts. You want comparison, Brady last night was looking bad but he STILL had his TE #1 (best in the game mind you) and WR #2 and #3 and RB #2 & 3 though he has similar OL issues. Take away Brady's TE #1 and WR #2&3 and RB #2 and let's see how he looks.... Or even just remove gronk. Joe was single handedly keeping this team afloat. He was elevating everyone around him. So don't tell me he's lost it when constantly fleeing for his life when guys don't run the right route it give up on the play or stop running as fast because they can't check for the ball and run at the same time. Like every single other qb he needs time and players around him who do what they are supposed to do. I'm all for Schaub and hope he does well, but we will all know one way or another how much Joe was doing for this team soon enough. Monday could go either way but after that film on Schaub teams will be able to properly vet him as a qb this year with lackluster wr talent.
  8. I can't think he would be anywhere close to as cheap as Renner. This move stinks, and I didn't think they could do anything to make me not watch but this is consciously worse than taking Billy Cundiff on as a Kicker.
  9. Maybe they really are trying to tank....
  10. With this move, I may actually not watch some Ravens games this year. I despise this move. If they were just going to pick Clausen up they should have gone with Renner. The Bears only cut him so that Trestman couldn't get Fales. Why didn't you report that Ryan? At least with Renner fans had some hope something to look forward to and a feel good story. Clausen, wasn't he the qb that Charlie Weis destroyed in his epic fail (can't Believe in saying that but in this case it fits) as coach of Notre Dame?
  11. I hope they are saying Renner for the PS to make sure he is not gone. I think that Trestman wanted David Fales (did he draft him?) but the Bears cut Clausen and put Fales on the 53 man so he wouldn't get taken off their PS. They were really quick about it too.... They must not like Marc
  12. The Bears immediately called up Fales to the 53 man and cut Clausen, just so the Ravens (Trestman) couldn't sign him. I still like Renner, yes he will likely get it handed to him, but as the coaches pointed out, he has a bit of that "It factor" which, like speed, you just can't teach.
  13. Agreed on the Tyrod part, Tyrod is going to net us a nice comp pick which will be very valuable since we can trade them now. Agreed on the no miracles part, We've got our WR1,2,3(at time of injury),5 on IR (4 can't seem to catch a cold this year), so after this first game (which is always a wildcard for backup QBs as Reed20Fence correctly points out) I'm not expecting a lot from MS. I'm hoping that he will be OK. Joe carried this team and is why we haven't been loosing by 30 each week. But in the end, the tape will reveal all, one way or another.
  14. Yes, his man was playing well after the whistle, like a Jeff Fisher coached player.
  15. When you see them get the air cast out, you know that the injury is serious if not gruesome to look at.... Get well Justin.
  16. There, fixed that for you. (based on numbers at The time)
  17. I hope they get Renner now, I'm with Harbs, I'm not confident with Sam as the #2 qb....
  18. I knew he was hurt when I saw him get u. I was hoping that it was like the Lions two years ago instead of what happened today. Get well Joe.
  19. Reeeeeeeeed!
  20. I was worried about just that (injured TE) when we signed the unexpected TE to the 53 man roster and think I commented on that. Signing a TE right away is not good news for Boyle who looks like the steal of the draft. I think we could have had Karlos Williams or Boyle, I was kind of sad we didn't get Karlos at the time, but Ozzie looks like he knew what he was doing. Buck Allen is looking better and better with time and experience now. Plus we got a good surprise with TW and he is already on the roster, which speaks well I think. I really liked how he looked in CLE last year at the beginning before the issues with time share with Crowell, only because of fantasy football or I wouldn't have paid that much attention. We may have stolen him back from CLE for nothing.... Even being in this division, it is hard not to feel the waves off of the Factory of Sadness, hopefully they won't drown us next week. Maybe West will get some payback....
  21. Another returner from Detroit, didn't the Ravens get the now cut Ross off the Detroit practice squad?
  22. Excellent post, the difference is the Steelers started this process about 3-4 years ago, we have not really started rebuilding and were trying to keep going. Maybe you could argue we started it in the last 1.5 years.
  23. Since JE is the Ravens' Minister of Propaganda, let's translate this article's message. Ravens were denied the game because they are not good enough to make a playoff chase, but Jacksonville is since their division sucks. If you go to NFL.com you will find them pomping and pumping 20 different teams now, which is more $$$ for them with the 65% revenue sharing. Its all about selling the playoff chase now. Ravens have officially been triaged and JE is in charge of getting us to accept it. Not quite as good as his "I like Ray Rice" piece but good enough to let us know what is going on with the proper reading filter in place. Likely why Perriman was shut down this same day, no race, let's get someone who can play up now instead of waiting on a maybe for a last ditch playoff run which won't come now.
  24. Christine Michael was cut by the Cowboys, I wonder if the Ravens will give him a sniff. His talent level is through the roof, but there's a reason why the Seahawks and Cowboys shuffled him out the door.
  25. Another TE? Guess 3 TE sets will be coming and injury fears are looming there too....
