I'm a Salisbury University graduate who tutored (briefly) Dan Quinn, another SU alum (along with his wife who shares my first name, Stacey), so, given that (plus the fact that I am a Ravens fan who has no love for the Patriots, pretty boy Brady and Belichick the cheater), of course I'm rooting for the Falcons! Go get'em, DQ!

Fine player and even better person. The Ravens would do well to keep him in the organization in some worthwhile capacity. We need more like him. A few more like him and we'll be back in the Super Bowl again soon.

What else more could the Ravens have checked out? Did you read the article? He missed ONE game during his three year college career. He doesn't need to show the fans anything, that's absurd! What makes you think he's not putting in all the work and physical therapy necessary to get back to 100%? Just b/c he's not posting pics on Instagram or tweeting about his rehab, recovery and training doesn't mean he's not putting in the work. Since being put on IR he's stated that he's going to do everything possible to be ready for this season. He didn't even have to say that. As far as I'm concerned, that should be good enough for anyone until proven otherwise. It's not good enough! This guy has been shrouded in mystery since the injury occurred. Out of sight and out of mind. I did not say he was not putting in the work - just that's there's no evidence of it. Given that his entire Ravens career has been "out of sight and out of mind" - save for the first practices - we need more. He's been hidden behind closed doors - not out in the community, not practicing, giving few interviews - and, when you pay as much as we (PSL holders and season ticket holders) do for the merchandise, we need to see what we paid for. Right now, we've paid for a lot and gotten little. So until I see more, it has been "proven otherwise". There's been too much kept behind closed doors here. It's time for things to be brought into the light. I'm not saying he's a bust or a wimp - yet. I hope he's a Hall of Fame talent, but we need to see more. Until then, he needs to be challenged to show us more - because we've seen nothing yet.

OK - the front office deserves some of the blame for this. They should have checked him out in a more through manner than they did prior to drafting him, and, then, they could have been more forthcoming as to the extent of the injury. However, this man has been paid a great deal of money for performance, and no performance has been registered as of yet. I've not seen anything that indicates that he is working diligently to get back on the field this coming season. Until we see that - or the evidence of such - he will be subject to this criticism, and it will be justified. When he signed the big contract, judgment of your performance - justified or not - is part of the deal. He needs to "suck it up", show the fans he is working hard to get healthy, and then deliver excellent performance on the field. Then the criticism will stop. Until then, the "forgotten man" label will be sticking to him like glue and no attempt by the PR department to remove it will work. Start showing up at the Castle to work out and train, Breshad. Show us you're working to get back. That might help. Hiding out isn't helping at all.

They'll be looking for fans from the stands to line up and play if this continues.

Great story about a good player and an even better man. Maybe, in this season when so much has gone horribly wrong, this could be the beginning of something great. With Buck Allen and hometown hero Terrence West now our primary running backs, maybe we can get back to being the type of team we've always been - a tough, defensive oriented team with a smash mouth running attack. Add in a healthy Justin Forsett, and we could have a running attack second to none - and all of them great members of the community as well! Go Buck - Ravens fans will be in your corner!

I feel Perriman should take a huge pay cut for next year, since he has basically taken a salary this year and given us nothing. Give us some more salary cap relief for next year and keep his salary at the minimum until he proves himself. If you've done nothing, you should get the minimum until you've proven yourself.

John, while I'm enjoying your latest book "10-Gallon War", and I do agree with your points on not blaming Dumervil, you are dead wrong on the officials. I guess you are a shill for the NFL, but you can come off of it, now - the NFL has now admitted the officials were wrong. Call it right - they were atrocious yesterday and got all three calls in question wrong. GET IT RIGHT!

Here is what should happen: 1. Void the win for Jacksonville and award it to Baltimore, since, if the penalty had been called correctly, that would have been the result. 2. Fire the entire officiating crew - NOW! If they can't get this right, they should not be out there anymore - and void their checks from yesterday's game. They should not be paid for yesterday's "efforts", either.

Let's make things clear - when you pay what we pay for PSLs and season tickets, you demand - yes, demand excellence and success. We have not gotten that in two of the last three years following Super Bowl 47. The rebuilding effort has not been successful. Draft picks have been anywhere from mediocre (Mosely) to failures (Elam, Perriman). Poor decisions, such as the kneejerk reaction to cut Ray Rice (Let me state I do not condone his behavior towards his wife) when he may have had some use left, which has now cost us significant cap space the past two seasons, have crippled us. We are a losing team now, and significant changes need to be made in on the roster and in the coaching staff. We should be excellent every year - we certainly have the resources and fan base to justify it. Don't talk to be about "rebuilding" - there is a team in Boston, MA, that seems to be excellent every year - we need to right this now. I, and the entire fan base, will not tolerate this type of losing football any longer. Get it straight now, or start making changes on the roster, the coaching staff, and, yes even the front office. They are all responsible, and should all be held accountable.

Calm is fine for awhile - but now, drastic action is needed. Cuts need to be made. A coach or two (Dean Pees, anyone?) needs to be fired. In other words, shake up the locker room and the coaches' offices. Get rid of the complacency and light some fires under the collective posteriors of the team and the coaching staff and let them know that more effort will be needed or further action will follow.

Here's my take: While I'm glad Sal Paolantonio issued a statement saying that he lied about the facts in a story (this must be an epidemic - first Brian WIlliams, now this guy), I would, in fact, like Steve Biscotti and the other owners to rise up and demand that the penalty be upheld. Brady should be suspended for not cooperating with the investigation. Playing in the NFL is not a right; it's a privilege, and Brady should be told that you either take your punishment of four games or never play again. Period. I'm tired of all of the "rights" of players. It's not a right to play in the NFL, or else we all would demand our time in the league. If most of us defied our employers and refused to cooperate with an investigation in our workplace, we would be fired. The same should apply here. Let Brady sit his four games.

The individuals most responsible for our success in many respects do stay constant, yet never play a down in a game. Individuals like Biscotti, Newsome, Harbaugh, DeCosta, and our scouts and player personnel staff - not to mention the coaches - are a large part of our continued success. Keep them around, and we will continue to win. Football is hard on players, and a constant stream of young talent is vital to winning. We seem to be able to keep that pipeline flowing, and it's the biggest reason why we keep winning. Keep up the good work!
