I'm all in with Monroe as well. I would rather he perform than we waste a pick in Stanley quite frankly.

First off, how can you be all in on Monroe when he hasnt played a snap in 2 years. Second, he has been over paid for most of the time he has been on the team, if he does play even OK, would you keep him going into his 9th NFL season? Third, How can you consider Stanley a waste of a pick? you do not know that, you may think it, but many dont agree with you. In fact most of the NFL scouts, coaches, and trainers. Lastly, Stanley is most probably going to be a player at #6 that the Ravens will have to choose from. The question is who else will be left on the board and which ones mean more to the Ravens in the long run. I for one Want Joe Flacco protected at ALL COSTS!! If Joe spends his time running around from Defensive ends and LB most of the season, you will be sorry. If Stanley has the talent, and he showed incredible talent in college, to develop as a good LT in the NFL then there is no doubt the Ravens should take him at #6.

i agree...we would all rather monroe live up to expectations....he just hasnt given us much to make us believe he can and we need a better insurance policy then hurst this year....it dont have to be stanley but do need some depth-especially now that ko is gone

IDK.... Tunsil, Ramsey and Bosa should all go before Jack... Buckner, Goff, Wentz, Stanley, VHIII, and Tradwell are all wildcards... (heck even Zeke Elliot could be a factor)..Docston and Eli Apple could also jump up the board. I really think that one of the 5 defensive players have to fall to us at # 6... (Ramsey, Bosa, Jack, Buckner, VHIII) I really think there is a good chance that Jack falls to number 6... if not we still have some great options but wouldn't be surprised to see Jack still there.

I'm not even sure why Treadwell is being discussed anymore. Not even viewed as a realistic top 15 prospect, and recent reports suggest he may not even be the first WR off the board.

Good player, but far from the top 10 first round type WRs we've seen picked recently.

    I'd say he's most likely a back end-teens, early 20s type pick.

thats what you got out of his statement? i think the point was many quality players could mean multiple scenarios that may play out in our favor...i love it when people look to add nothing to a discussion other then to try and discredit people who add to the content. dont get so caught up in the details that you miss the bigger point....anybody can find fault with a discussion....to try to sound intelligent!

Buckner is an option I wouldnt be mad at..
But there are more dynamic players and fits for Ravens.
Ramsey,Bosa,Jack..the 3 big names.. but dont rule out Shaq Lawson of Clemson.. Ive seen him linked to Ravens, A Terrell Suggs semi Clone, beast pass rusher, but equally great run defender. Or arguably best pass rusher in draft..Noah Spence

I agree about Lawson. Playing top tier teams this past year, his numbers were fantastic.

love shaq lawson.... but would love to see ramsey fallto us!

Harbs..... if you need to stick up for this sport... You my friend are speaking to the wrong crowd!

I am glad you are willing to stick up for the game that we all love but I am sick of the need for all of us to defend it. If others don't like it... they have a choice... "don't play or don't watch"!

Ohhhh and by the way... tell Goddell to stop trying to make this game okay to the people who are bent on ruining it. We make all of these changes to appease people who hate the game. Stop it!.... lets just tell them that this is how it is! IF THEY don't like it... don't watch and don't play but leave us alone!

(BTW ... I am not complaining that Harbs stuck up for the game just stating that we are giving too much thought and time to people who dislike the game). If your a fan - you don't need people defending the game to you.. and if not... you weren't really listening anyway! Lets get back to traditional football. Hard hitting, rough and unapologetically a mans game!

It is a woman's game as well my friend.

Really what woman plays in the NFL? men play the game and it gets physical... and if that bothers people maybe they are not man enough to watch how men play. I agree from a fans perspective it is a mens and womens sport equally but for those who do not understand that it is a mens sport played by men and therefore physical... then i would encourage them to tune into something else, regardless of their gender.. I agree with what steel city is saying... and I think it gets old when non traditional football fans ruin it for those who are traditional football fans (again regardless of gender).

  5. 1. Tunsil 2. Stanley 3. Ramsey 4. Myles Jack 5. Bosa 6. Maquise Alexander 7. Buckner - IDK... at pick # 6... I think there are plenty of legit options for us who can change the llok of our team. (In no specific order).. Tunsil or Stanley are at minimum insurance packages for Monroe! Ramsey is a legtit starter from day 1. Bosa will be the heir to Suggs and Doom... Alexander a little more questionable but would start now and Buckner adds to a quality rotation... that being said... Ramsey looks like the best pick at # 6 but if he is not there we are still looking pretty good. (and you can interchange hargraves and alexander but I think alexander is the better athlete!)

Well.... I still really think we are after Tunsil or Stanley in Rd.1! But if Biscotti is sincere... I think our draft looks very different. Round1. Patrick Ramsey - CB- FSU (insert and Start) Round # 2...William Jackson -CB- Houston (could also start and in a conference with AJ Green and Anotonio Brown, CBs are in high demand) Round 3. Shaun Oakman - DE -Baylor (giant-can add to the pass rush) Round 4. Malcolm Mitchell - WR -UGA (Stud WR if not for inj would be a 1st round pick and maybe top WR in this seasons draft- worth the pick here) Round 4 (from Lions) Travis Feeney - OLB - WASH (beast / freak pass rusher who could become the replacement for Suggs / Doom down the road) Round 5 (comp) Blake Martinez - ILB - Stanford (a jim harbs recruit who is a tackling machine and can help to replace DSmith and compliment CJ well) Round 6 Kolby Listenbee - WR /KR - TCU (speed to burn and can PR /KR) Round 6 (comp) Tyvis Powell -S - OSU (hitter with size / can grow under Leslie Frazier... has a lot of talent but also a very raw football player.). Round 7. Tayler Fallen - T- Memphis (Giant at 6'7" nearly 350 and can move fairly well) He will be an upgrade over Hurst and while a little bit of a project has enough ability to push Monroe for sure!

A month ago Tunsil and Stanley were considered top teir prospects. Since then, Tunsil has moved head and heels ahead of Stanley. Stanley really did himself a disservice at the combine with his interviews and horrible measurable for a top 5 prospect.

If for whatever reason Tunsil falls to 6 then Ozzie should take that pick to the bank! If Stanley is there at 6 I think we take someone else or trade out. Your probably right. Take someone in the second with more potential and slide him to LG until he's NFL ready to play LT.

I hear you on Stanley... but I really wonder if some of these guys are purposely sabotaging their interviews to ensure they get taken later by a perennial contender. I mean Come on... Stanley is a ND graduate - he is surely not a dumb guy.... its kinda like Shane Rey getting caught smoking weed 4 days before last years draft. He knew he was a top 10 pick... that pushed him back to later in RD 1 where he was able to be taken by the Broncos and finished his rookie season with a super bowl ring?

  7. This is not a log jam at S.... Weddle and Will Hill will be the starters. Webb can provide depth at S or CB especially in the slot... or in nickel and dime defenses. Elam and Brooks are still projects who are developing... and who better to develop under but Hill and Weddle with Leslie Frazier coaching you? The only odd man out is KLewis... and he may clear some more cap space for us??? Pees has no excuses now!

Pees better not offer any excuses now. He hasnt had safeties perform since he arrived here... now with Will Hill-Weddle and Webb... if he cannot produce... Pees gotta go!

If we can't keep K.O after this it will be darn shame. Especially after effectively insulting the only other viable option in Monroe by the statements made, we are nearing a really terrible predicament with no LT or starting LG on our team. In times like these we end up overpaying for services that we tend to regret down the road. My sense is we shouldn't offer top tackle money to K.O simply because he is unproven at tackle and was serviceable at tackle for a total of 4 games. Is he worth paying top tackle money for? No, I don't think so. Top guard money or average tackle money is all they have to pay for K.O. If not, we need to get somebody else.

I would take KO for 10 mil and Upshaw for 3.5 Mil....I would even cut Forsett to get them. lol

I think that KO is proven at LT... he played a quarter of the season there this past year against division foes... and was dominant. He may be an even better G... We have a starting G or two (with or without KO in Urschel and Jensen who are both quality starters in this league and only getting better. If we cannot re-sign KO... I see us drafting Stanley in Round 1... This secure our LT position for years to come at a very cap friendly price!
