If the Ravens can solidify their OL... and if Suggs comes back in shape and motivated we should be in for a good year. With that said Tunsil looks like the best case scenario. If he's gone there doesn't seem to be a clear best case scenario... maybe Bosa?   I heard Bosa refuses to play for us (if so,screw him)

Tunsil is a great pick  Stanley would be a great choice. We will get a good pick no matter what at #6.  A number that  low is rare to us.

IDK that we can count on Suggs being what he was. Suggs career is winding down and time happens to us all. His body has been breaking down for awhile and he is aware of that... that is why he was contemplating retirement even before the injury. We need to be thankful for what he has done as a Raven, hope he can give us a little more, and begin to prepare for life without him in the near future. Which means drafting a serious pass rusher now! (maybe Bosa in Rd 1. or Spence in Rd 2 or Travis Feeney in Rd 3 / 4) I love Suggs and hope he can pull a SSS and defy father time for another year or two... but i am also a realist and know that the clock is relentless and it is ticking for Sizzle!

    Reed?

Diggs was good not even Elam was tragic in '13.

In 2012 everybody complained that Reed was too old and inconsistent (as well as injury prone). So even a HOF like ED REED has not played well under Pees....SMH... unlike Steelcity however... I think that Pees inadequacy extends far beyond the DB's .... in fact I think the entire defense has been inconsistent at best under Pees. I think the DBs struggled the most but all positions seem to be inconsistent since he got here. SMH

What DB has played well under Pees? I really think that it is less about Jimmy and more about our system... but with that being said.... I agree that Jimmy needs to stay on the field (avoid injuries). We know that Jimmy has the talent and ability to be one of the top CB's in the NFL but that will require two things: 1. Him staying healthy 2. Pees getting his crap together!

LOL... BmoreBird22... you see how that sounds like a reach right? Sharece Wright for a couple of games... Jimmy in 2013 was very inconsistent... in 2014 he played great....in second half of 2015 is saying that he was inconsistent at best (not good for half the year and decent for half the year)... Webb in 2012 and Graham in 2012. So... out of 4 or 5 DBs playing at any time x 4 years (since 2012) that is 20 DBs and you named 3 that played well and 2 kinda well... so that (being generous) is saying at best 5 out of 20 since 2012 meaning 3/4 has not played well under Pees. and really more like 3 out of 20 for just over 10% meaning that nearly 90% of our DBs are not playing well since he arrived. I guess I didnt realize it either until you explained it that way! We really have to reach to find something that Pees has done well in our defensive backfield.

Hopefully, Coach Frazier will help overcome this!

Agreed... if it were not for Frazier... I believe that We could sign Norman and draft Ramsey and our DBs would struggle. I do think that Fraizer will be exactly what Pees needed (what our defense needed).

  5. 1. Tunsil
    2. Ramsey
    3. Bosa
    4. Buckner
    5. Jack
    6. Zeke

I believe that Tunsil goes to the Chargers, Zeke to the Cowboys and Jack to the Jags.... (with the first two being QBs)... Leaving us Ramsey with the number 6 pick. (if Ramsey goes to Dallas) that leaves us Bosa or Zeke! (I think it would be Bosa). I cant wait!

I would not mind Elliot. Jack and Bosa I say no thank you !!

There is no guarantee Suggs is his old self after 2 Achilles and being 33 years old. If Bosa is there, take him. I agree pass on Jack cause of injury concerns and not an edge rusher.

I would love to see Jack in this defense and his versatility is tempting but that knee injury for a pick that high is just not worth the risk at this point. (Perriman is enough of a question mark on a 1st rounder)!

Bosa is not a consolation prize. I would love for Tunsil or Ramsey to fall to us but if that dont happen and we land Bosa... I would not feel like we lost out at all!

  8. @steelcityraven My scenario would be if Pitta has no cautious of his injury and perform like he did in 2012, then they should put Waller on the practice squad and have Pitta, Boyle, Williams, and Watson as our TE depth but by having Boyle being suspended for 10 games then Waller can take his spot until Boyle come back from suspension. If the Ravens wanted to keep Pitta they have to make sure if he could fully play, contact the doctors if it's truly 100% healed and it's no wear and tear.

hen826957....I really hope you are right about Pitta but I am not optimistic....any time a player misses a season its hard to return to form... this is two seasons for Pitta and i think we will simply always question his health. IDK if i am ready to simply stick Waller on the PS... this has become a league of freakish TE's who have the size and athleticism to create match up problems. Waller is that type of freak athlete with freakish size and speed.... and if he can make that transition to TE he could make our offense exponentially more dangerous and keep the LB's of teams like Pittsburgh and Cincy much more honest!

  9. LOL.... boy did that sentiment change since the end of last season...when he said that, "We would limit this to one season" and that, "the post season is an expectation for the Ravens". I get what this stuff has to be said but boy does this bother me. - When we say that we may not get our best product until october... do the ticket holders get a discount until October? I understand that we may have some question marks bc of the vast amount of players who we have with injuries but Dont you simply re-affirm your company policy and hold the organization to a higher expectations (regardless of who is healthy and who is not- you simply cannot allow adversity to settle for less). I would have rather heard him say, "In Baltimore our expectation is to be in the post season every year- and while it may be bumpy early because of injuries.... our expectations have NOT changed" heck he said it... we lost a lot of close games last year (i think something like 8 or 9 by 8 points or less) if we would have won half of those... we could have been in the post season with a JV squad.... and now we get healthy and added some players.... heading into the draft....expectations should be Nothing less then the post season!

  10. Wishing we would trade up to pickup Carson Wentz....we really need this kid.........and it's still so sick that peoples lives and careers are ruined by the harmless weed that is going to be Legal countrywide sooner than later, Get off josh gordons back..........SMH...

LOL...I cannot believe that someone is actually supporting Josh Gordon.... The only one ruining Josh Gordons career is Josh Gordon...if i said to you... that I would pay you millions of dollars to stop smoking weed and you say no.... then you are a SLAVE to weed and then turn around and call it harmless???? In what world does that make any sense????? Josh Gordon is his own worst enemy an anyone who thinks that anything that causes someone to lose their job, millions of dollars and respect is harmless... they may be blinded by the same device !

  11. IDK... this reminds me of a few years ago...when Deon Sanders was coming out of FSU... UF had a DB named Louis Oliver who everyone was saying is a close second.... We see how that turned out. I am not sold on VHIII especially as a # 6 pick. He looked horrible vs Bamma two seasons in a row but that is some elite WRs... he actually played well against Treadwell and others.... IDK.... maybe later in round 1

  12. His coverage is such a plus, with so many teams drafting TE/WR Speed guys you really need a ILBer who can cover seam routes....I have been a fan if his, so i am bias here.....

I agree.... there is an increasing need for ILBers who can cover these freak TE's now a days... but we do play in the AFC North (the most physical division in football). While I really like what Jack brings to the table... I also acknowledge that he will need to grow into the superstar we are hoping for by drafting him at 6.

At this point I would be disappointed if our 6th pick went to anyone not named Tunsil, Buckner, jack, Ramsey or Elliot. Picking Stanley or Bosa will be a letdown by seasons end and Hargraves would be great but not at 6. Please just no Bosa. He scares the crap out of me.

I too agree no Bosa and Stanley lower down not at #6!!

WOW - really... I know Bosa made some comments that showed his immaturity but this kid can play. He is the real deal and if we took Bosa at 2nd.... I would be ecstatic. I think if we are taking Stanley... we should probably trade back bc we can land him much later in rd one and probably outside of the top ten! (If we did that ... I would not be disappointed with Stanley at all- in fact i would be excited... I just wouldn't be as excited if we grabbed him at #6!

  14. I don't think the issue is that fans are against drafting a LT--we know exactly how important that position is after watching Hurst struggle to play it for the past 2 years. The problem most of us have is reaching for a LT who doesn't provide much push in the ground game and who lacks the meanness that you like from an O-lineman.

I would be elated if we drafted Tunsil at #6, for example, and I would be pretty satisfied if we traded down to like #15 (Rams) and drafted Ramsey, but I would not be happy about reaching for a LT just because we need one, thus getting poor value.

    well said.... agreed 100%

    5. Ezekiel Elliott* RB Ohio State 92

    2) Wentz
    3) Ramsey

    5) Jack
    6) Buckner

Ramsey and Buckner may switch SD needs a Buckner too however, I think Ramsey is just too good when you lose Weddle.

I think at least one of those teams are trading out of their spot - so this all may be subject to change and that may be enough of a variable to help us land someone we expected to be gone????

  16. Kolby Listenbee in the 3rd, he won't last past that. He ran that time with two groins that needed surgery that he had. He is a higher round talent than where he will go due to those injuries. You can't teach speed and you can't teach twitch. Cincinnati was all over TCU pro day, everyone was there including Dalton who had private throwing sessions with those guys....

i think listenbee will be there in the 4th.... he is fast but not a great wr... i like him for a kr /pr guy ...with hopes that he can develop into a legit wr in a few years (he has the raw skills)

I like Spence more than Buckner and Bosa.. if Stanley is the top talent left on the board at #6 we should trade back and take spence. possibly swooping a Le'raven Clark in the 2nd and a sterling Shepard in the 3rd... a ravens fan can dream right.

LOL Buckner is the 3rd best paler in this draft! Spencer is not.

    Player.

i like buckner but i am not ready to call him the 3rd best player in the draft? I think Ramsey, zeke and tunsil are clearly ahead of buckner at this point (if not others) but i agree that he is ahead of spence and may have one of the highest ceilings

I think Oakman and Travis Feeney (who will both be available later) can both be elite pass rushers in this league!

I can't see Oakman developing fast enough for us. Feeney is very interesting player but probably best fit at 43 OLB.

i think feeney is a good enough athlete that he will be a star in a 4-3, a 3-4 or any D.... his big thing is just staying healthy!
