  1. Wagner....showed a lot of promise as a rookie... then looked like a rising star last year.... gotta love those wisconsin OL.... (heck even big ten OL). Wagner looks like a steal... hope he returns to the form he was last season or even better... diamond in the rough!
  2. the only position that scares me is WR.... i expect perriman to be a superstar but he is unproven and a rookie...if he takes a while to catch on then the passing game may struggle...or at least joe will need to rely on the te's...and while also very talented..there are also a ton of question marks there...SSS is 35 , perriman is an unproven rookie, brown, aiken, camp, waller and company all very talented but need to take the next step- pitta's hip?, williams and boyle unproven rookies and can gilmore take the next step... still a lot of questions in the passing game- ton of talent but they need to come around and produce if we are going to get to where we want to go. still wouldn't mind seeing a possible signing there? more competition is never a bad thing
  3. Our DB's are light years ahead of where we were last season. Jimmy is back. Webb is healthy -Asa will be healthy and a year improved. RMelvin will be a year more comfortable in our system... We have added Tray Walker, KArrington and CVaughn! Our Safties... WHill will have a full camp and increased comfort in our system. KLewis will be an upgrade... Brooks will be back and more experienced... Elam is looking to be finally settling in some! That is so far ahead of last season... and the results will mean more turnovers and more sacks and more 3 and outs.... which means more opportunities for our offense! And more wins!
  4. NO! NO ! NO! Webb and Jimmy have both been somewhat injury prone... we need them healthy and no extra risks are advised! Lets just get Campanaro or Carter up to speed!
  5. if Maxx and Perriman prove to be what we think and can contribute like we hope... Joe will have a career year.... This offense is balanced, deep and talented and we can protect Joe very very well!
  6. The sqeelers have a great offense but they will struggle defensively. They are soft in the middle of their front 7. They are better on the edges but are very unproven and cant stay healthy on the edge. They have to replace Troy and IKe Taylor and that wont be easy. I dont think that Shamarko Thomas is that guy and their CB's are average at best. They have not depth anywhere on defense and now they lost lebeau! they will need to put up 30 points every game to have a chance to win and they better pray that Ben stays heatlhy (something that has been tough for him throughout his career)!
  7. runcontrol.... i hear you and for the most part I am in agreement with what you told steelcity but all bring something a little different to the table. Camp is a slot wr who runs good routes and creates athletic mismatches... Aiken has size and Butler brings a little more speed.... Waller brings the height and creates a mismatch especially in the redzone, so it will be interesting how they decide to compliment SSS and Perriman with the host of other complimentary WR's that we have... I feel like out of all of them Marlon has the ability to develop into a dominant WR... I dont think we will keep 7 however bc we will keep 4 TE's thats 11 between those two position or 3-4 more then we kept last year between the two ? it will be fun to see how this plays out. I am excited to see who elevates their game and takes the next step?
  8. I think we re-sign KO and Zuttah.... i would love to see us re-sign Yanda too but he may be less likely (due to age and money)? Hope we can get a hometown discount but it is good to know that Urschel is capable and ready anywhere in the interior! He has turned out to be a very valuable commodity and may prove his value even beyond? Nice to have players like Urschel and Hurst... (hope Myers turns out to be like those two)@!
  9. lets hope that the added muscle to the frame and the 2 years experience make arthur more nfl ready. Fortunately DSmith has played lights out since coming to BMORE but DSmith is aging and if AB could come in and provide quality reps... it may extend DSmiths career and allow AB to develop into the superstar we hoped he would. CJ and AB together roaming the middle and dominating offenses would be a great sight!!
  10. I really liked this pick. I am excited to see what Boyle can bring to the team. He is big, and athletic and seems to be able to not just get open but appears to have to tools to be able to move the chains (and block). Excited to see what Boyle can bring to the table!
  11. I hope they will be more involved in the passing game and i believe they will be more involved in the passing game! Forte was very active in the bears passing game.... and we have the people who can fill the position. Forsett produced a little in the passing game last year. Juice showed that he can contribute in the passing game and I expect more out of him this year. Buck Allen also adds an interesting element out of the backfield. But to add some strong TE's into the mix... to occupy OLB and Safties.... it will open up our passing game in the flats a great deal (bc we know perriman will take the top off and SSS will hurt teams in the slot and across the middle)! I cant wait!
  12. nice..... the talent is clearly there and when brooks learns the game (like he was speaking of) his ceiling can be very high. I am very excited about brooks and what he will bring to this team in the future!
  13. Hoping that Arthur Brown can get out of the dog house and is given a chance to produce.... He can add solid reps (keeping DSmith and Cj fresh as the season goes on) and he can really make an impact on ST
  14. Im wondering if we need to add another experienced WR. SSS is 36 and if he goes down with an injury for any period of time... or if Perriman would get an injury... our passing game could take a serious step backwards. I know we have promising young WRs in Marlon and Kamar and Camp, Carter, etc... but they are unproven (as far as taking over as a # 1 or #2 Wr). This is the only position that an injury to a starter really scares me at????
  15. I hope forsett can give us another 1100 or 1200 yards this year. that give buck and talifero another season to develop and by that point.... Forsett is cresting over 30 and as his production starts to diminish-buck and LT will be ready to carry the load! We need one more good year out of Forsett.... hopefully he is still productive long beyond that but one more big year!
  16. 1. Perriman 2. SSS 3. Marlon Brown 4. Campanaro 5. Waller 6. Kamar Aiken
  17. JJ love this guy.... need a couple more of him! Thanks for being a great example of what it means to be a RaVen JJ!
  18. I agree.... I think that marlon has the ability to take it to the next level but I also think that this is a full stable and he will compete for time... Obviously SSS and BPerriman will be # 1 and # 2's but the real competition is for the slot and / or the # 3 WR (Campanaro expects to be in the mix, Waller will be interestng if he can make the squad and will be a redzone threat... Kamar looked to get better as the season went on - so while marlon should improve he will need to - to take the next step! Hoping he does!
  19. Our defense will be sick this year. Our DL is stout with Bwilliams, Carl Davis, Canty, KLM, Urban, Jernigan, Tyson, LGuy, Bikudi. Our LB's are even better with Elvis and Suggs, Upshaw and Zsmith, CJ, Dsmith, ABrown, McClellan, Trey Depriest and ZOrr.... and now the DBs are getting deeper with Jimmy and Webb, Arrington and Asa, TWalker, WHill, KLewis, Elam, Brooks , Jacobs and Levine. and NPerry that is very talents and very athletic defense.... Idk but if we are not a top 10 and probably a top 5 defense something is seriously wrong!
  20. The Pats had Reevis and Browner - Arrington is a ball player and a big step up from Asa..... with Jimmy, Webb, Arrington, Asa and Tray Walker... I think we have significantly upgraded.... still have to wonder if ozzie is done yet but I love the addition!
  21. the patriots have Chung and McCourty at S.... and they have Logan Ryan and Bradley Fletcher, Malcom Butler and Chekwa at CB.... they are very high on ryan and fletcher and butler was the super bowl hero... they lost maybe the greatest CB in the game in Reevis and a very good one in browner and didnt flinch bc they are confident in their young guys... I would be surprised if they dont make a play to retain Aarington but I hope they dont and I hope we do!
  22. Hmmm not surprised about supernaw after drafting two TE'S - i guess after signing schaub that we should not be surprised about wenning either but i would have liked to see him compete in camp..... i though that he had some potential -i guess with joe and matt schaub that is a full house! Good luck to both of them!
  23. I really believe that we will see improvment in Elams game.... he didnt play bad as a rookie... not as well as we had hoped but not bad either. I think we will see him break out of that sophomore slump....and see improvement.... but he will need to make plays in limited time.... bc Lewis and Hill will be the starters. I am not as optimistic about Aruthur Brown.... and I get that CJ and DSmith are playing at a high level but Arthur is not even dressing for many games and not contributing even via special teams... little worried about ABROWN hope he proves us all wrong! Would love to see him and CJ securing the middle for a long time to come!
  24. Ed Reed has to not only be mentioned in the best safety ever conversation but also in any conversation concerning best player ever. You have to put ED in that category... he truly is one the best football players to ever play the game!
  25. Icing on the cake! Love it!
