5 thoughts.... 1. WOW is Monroe ever gonna live up to expectations???? (will we ever be able to count on him)??? 2. If Perriman is going to be out much longer... we need to go out an get another WR with some wheels. 3. The DL and entire defense played very well... encouraging 4. Carl Davis is a gem... BWilliams is a beast and getting Timmy back will make us even better. 5. Joe has to manage the pocket better -this has been an issue of his throughout his career and he needs to take the next step and stop panicing! NEXT WEEK WILL BE BETTER

i am hearing people say that Ozzie needs to trade for an OLB to replace Suggs... I think if a trade is to be made... it should be for a WR... we need a legit Number 2 of it may be a long season offensively!

Have to admit... I have been very critical of DPeas... (and I am not saying that I wont be moving forward) but wow...the D looked very good today and has potential to look great even without Sizzle!

Renner deserves a shot on the practice squad.... we will probably lose him if so but thats okay the kid deserves a shot in the league... He can play

Wow...Daniel Brown is a baller! Wouldnt mind giving the kid a chance.... IDK how but he can play....Asa just isnt what he was supposed to be and I would rather see us keep Cassius Vaughn over ASA but that is all determined by if we think Campanaro can be our returner and can stay heatlthy!

Dean Peas? I know its preseason but you have a ton of talent and are out of excuses....this has looked nothing like a RAVEN defense since you arrived! time to produce or go

Z has better mentors then BUD DUPREE.... Z had Suggs, Doom and Upshaw to learn from.... Bud had Jarvis Jones.... Talk about falling into a better situation! Excited to see Z become a super star while the sqeelers take another bust.... its about leadership and development -as much as finding talent

D.Peas... this has been typical for him since he took over... he has a ton of talent... He just never seems to get the most out of them... we havent looked physcial since he has taken over... we dont have that same swagger on defense... We look soft (bend but dont break under Peas) and I have not been a fan of his style from day 1. Hope Harbs gets Peas under his thumb ASAP!

Good to see Arthur Brown taking that next step... and thought he played smart and solid... would like to see him be more physical at the point of attack but that is probably why he hasnt filled his potential yet... I see he added some size and strength.... still growing as a player in this league!

Love what Arrington has done... would love to see more Cassius Vaughn but glad we have a ton more depth then last season! (Not liking Asa's chances of making this team and Tray Walker may not be much better) but ST could be the ticket for both!

If Melvin beats out Webb....that is a good problem to have... We know Webb can play (when healthy).... Melvin playing at a high level means that Webb has time to heal and that we have more depth then we anticipated!

Lets see what Buck has .... I am excited to see more of him anyways... Get healthy quick LT!

What does Jason Peters know... dude couldnt even speak a legible sentence in the interview... why does anyone even give any credibility to what he had to say???????? Its just sour grapes..... Chip Kelly has to make an excuse bc he is being criticized for putting his players in jeaopardy and he did what he has done all along... make excuses... heck we heard what Boykin said about him when he left philly and we hear what his players say - Chip Kelly is out to cover his own butt... Peters is clueless.... we will see how the season shakes out! But not sure why BMORE media is giving any credibility to anything either of those two have to say? Just play football...if they thought it was cheap... they had the chance to do something about it after... they didnt- move on?

from everything that i have seen and heard.... it actually sounds like Boyle has out produced Maxx up to this point. While he has probably also been more inconsistent - he has also seemed to make more plays-thats a good sign... (not saying he is better then Maxx-just acknowledging that we may have found two very good TE's)!

I am excited about this draft class....last years class was exceptional and this one has potential to be a home run also... (perriman-maxx-carl davis-zsmith-boyle-myers) all have potential to contribute.... early and often... back to back home runs on a draft class leaves a team in a very good position... ontop of that ozzie has been spot on with the FA signings as usual...

everyone relax on perriman.... we want him healthy for when it counts...yes i would love for him to have more time with joe and gel ... but for a while he needs to be able to run a streak and take the top of a defense and be a deep ball / home run threat. He has that down even if he dont practice that at all. As the season wears on.. he will get healthier and add more to the offense but early on.... we just need him healthy and on the field come regular season!

I hate to say it... but this may be a blessing in disguise for elam. It gives him an opportunity (after he heals up) to focus on conditioning, developing, and growing in his football IQ... he likely wasnt going to see a ton of reps at S with WHill and KLewis out there... Elam wasnt going to get a ton of PT and everyone would have been talking about how he is underachieving.... Now it takes pressure off and gives him time to develop... I hope it isnt serious and I hope he heals up quick but if not... it may not be the worst situation in the world for Elam! It does leave us a little thin in the depth area at S however with Brooks on the PUP list.. maybe Nick Perry will step up!

Elite QB: a quaterback who will put up big numbers year in and year out....even from game to game. Dan Foust was probably an elite QB... he put up huge numbers game to game and year to year. I would even say that Carson Palmer, Phillip Rivers and even say Kurt Warner may have been considered Elite. Then There are winning QBs - Roger Staubach, Terry Bradshaw, Bart Starr... Joe Flacco.... they may not put up the biggest numbers...week in and week out... they usually dont finsih in the top 10 in passing stats every year... but every year they give their team a chance to win. The play within the team, with in the system and within themselves. they are content with winning not being the top fantasy players every year. Ask most owners who they would rather have. I am glad we have Joe over many of the elite qb's in the game!
