I dont think Trestman has done a bad job considering and I think that we will see vast improvement in year 2 (and with improved weapons). I think Pees has been horrible since he has got here and that our defense has progressively gotten worse under Pees to the point that no matter who we play... we will not be able to stop them or close them out. I believe that we can go out and get more DB's and we will still make excuses about how they aren't good enough. (Will Hill, Kyle Arrinington, K.Lewis,James Ihedigbo, DStewart, Asa Jackson, tray Walker, RMelvin are all proof of what I am saying). WHill, KArington, and KLewis came here with very high expectations.... and have been inconsistent at best. JIhedigbo, DStewart were brought here and then chased out -saying they werent good enough... Now they are playing at a probowl level with other teams. Asa, Tray Walker were drafted with expectations to be able to contribute a little... and both look like they dont belong in the NFL. RMelvin looked to be ready to take over for Webb in camp and was the bright spot in our DBackfield during our playoff run last season (seems soooo long ago). Now all of a sudden he cant play to the point we let him go???? Who is good enough to play DB in Dean Pees defense? Heck just last season Jimmy was considered one of the top 5 CB's in the NFL...(again seems so long ago)... now he seems to be average at best.... I have said it before and will say it again... We could sign Reevis, Sherman, Clinton Dix and Mark Barron as our DBs and we still wouldnt be able to stop the pass in tis Defense...nobody we bring in will be good enough until Pees is gone ... how much more proof do we need????? Pees gotta go!

Five really disappointing thoughts: 1. At Home 2. Two weeks to prepare 3. VS one of the worst teams in the league 4. Can't close them out! 5.Another Loss!

FIVE THOUGHTS: 1. Our defense sux 2. We have to be the most undisciplined team in the NFL 3. An extra week to prepare for the Jags (at home) and that isn't enough! Things have gotten bad in BMORE 4. Why does Joe still have so much difficulty managing the pocket... He has been in the league way too long for much of these blunders. 5. I can honestly say that we have lost 3 maybe 4 games this season on stupid penalties. Free yards and turnovers (plus missed tackles) have killed us all season! UNDISCIPLINED PLAY

As long as Pees is in charge in BMORE ... our defense will always under achieve. We wont get turn overs... we wont close teams out.. we wont get off of the field on 3rd down... we wont win consistently. Pees gotta go!

With the exceptions of a few teams on the top of each division.... the rest of the AFC is pretty pathetic... Parity is killing the NFL and makes for ugly football... and it starts with ridiculous salary caps! We need to raise the cap a little.... then we will see more of how strategy and planning in stable organizations raises some teams... but as is now there is no depth for most teams and it becomes more about who is lucky enough to stay healthy.... not who is the best organization / with the best strategy/ with quality moves. I think this has become a FA league.... won more by role players then consistent mainstays bc teams cannot afford to keep mainstays for long.... The result is a constant change in personal, little depth and a reduction in a lack of commitment by players... when things dont go their way... they opt out / with injuries and lack of production makes them expendable and sent packing... convenient ways to get out of a contact you do not like!

Ravens top priority during the bye week: GETTING A NEW DC!

Wonder if we still bring Jacoby in just to add a slot WR presence for when Perriman does return? If there is no slot presence and now Without SSS we wont be able to truly evaluate Perriman the same (as a speedster who can take the top off of a defense and as a big play threat). Jacoby at slot and Perriman taking the top off.. make a defense pick their poison... Giving us a better view of Perrimans skill set / strengths /weaknesses and allowing us to better know how to compliment him heading into 2016??????/

BIO... i agree... i think that Trestman has done a good job with what he has had to work with. We are scoring points despite the fact that we are lacking talent. We have done enough offensively to give us a chance to win every game.... and there really has been a lack of talent especially at WR... (and having Monroe out more then he has been in)! I like the job that Trestman has done so far and think that next season could be a great one for our offense under Trestman. I cannot say the same thing for our defensive if Pees is here.... regardless of who we bring in!

I keep hearing yes... they are 1-6 but we are close in every game. Whats the difference between a close game? I was always told the basics. Tackling, blocking, not giving away yards, not turning the ball over. We cant tackle, our blocking is very inconsistent,we may be the most penalized team in the NFL and we lost the turn over battle again. We I guess when we cannot do the basics... that is the outcome. We lose close games. Here is a thought however. The parity and talent level in the NFL is a very slim margin. In other words all games are expected to be close.... and until we start doing the basics better... we can expect to consistently lose like we have been... when we correct the basics... maybe some of these close games will go in our favor! SMH

5 thoughts.... 1. We gave up nearly our season average of 27.5 points per game. Hard to win any game when you expect to give up nearly 30 points every game. 4 TDS per game is the average! 2. We cant tackle. I never thought I would say that about a RAvens D but we simply cannot tackle. We missed at least a dozen tackles in the game and that was probably the difference in the game. 3. Where was ZDarius Smith? He is probably our best young pass rusher with as many sacks as anyone on this team and I dont recall seeing him?????? We need to find ways to generate more of a pass rush. We are living in a passing league and any QB in this league will pick us apart when they have all day. All the teams we play seem to get this and the keep joe under pressure but we dont seem to get it- and we give QB after QB all day and they all look like probowlers vs us 4. Are the injures a result of us being that unlucky again or is this trend suggesting something bigger? Are we not properly physically prepared????????? 5. It says offense just not good enough? It wasnt so long ago that 18 points would have been plenty... in fact that last 4 years before Pees got here...we averaged giving up less then 18 points per game... Our Defense has been so bad for so long that we dont expect them to play well now. Under Pees we have conditioned the fans to expect the offense to need to score 30 points per game to win! That shouldnt have to happen... but that is now our reality. If we dont score at least 28 points per game... the offense isnt good enough? HUH... how about the Defense isnt good enough and hasnt been since Pees got here. Another game that we scored nearly 20 points and the offense just isnt good enough but for the 4 years before Pees good here that would have been more then good enough

I would love to make 1 change. the DC! if we lost Pees - i believe we would be signicantly better right there. The 3 biggest changes would be to add some real weapons at WR to compliment SSS add a Pass Rusher and change DC.... but if we dont add a new DC none of it matters we will keep losing having scored 25 plus points.... so the biggest change is replacing Pees.

trade SSS?????????? thats just not smart -this isnt baseball or hockey where teams mortgage little to get a rent a player for one season - FB dont work like that....who would give away a 1st or 2nd or even 3rd rd pick for a player who has 9 career games left? Especially when it may take him a week or two or three to learn the system and become acclimated to his new team? Cmon

mad scientist.... i get that but we are already adding all of Suggs games missed in and comparing to other teams for games missed-are they projecting ahead like that for the other teams also?

how did Suggs miss 15 starts this season???? when are are in week 7 ??????
