  1. Im not sure I could pick Conklin over Stanley as a prospect right now, but I'm a huge fan of Conklin and I think he could end up being the better player down the road if he really works on his technique and footwork.
  2. He already has better technique than some NFL lineman, he uses his hands better than anyone in the draft, and he already uses swim moves and I've seen him use a spin every once in a while.
  3. RG had one more chance to turn his career around and he chooses the Browns smh... I thought Hue Jackon might be able to help them, but I guess you can't fix stupid.
  4. I'm with you, I never liked Clowney much, his work ethic always scared me. Bosa is a more refined player to me and I don't see him taking off plays like Clowney did, that said I'm not 100% sold on Bosa's work ethic and competitiveness maybe it's just his mannerisms that makes him seem like he lacks passion for the game, it's probably nothing but me looking for something wrong with him,I'd still be ecstatic if he fell to us.
  5. I can see Bosa being a perennial 10+ sack guy, people look at his 40 time and assume he's not very athletic but his agility drill were great, after the SB everyone is obsessed with speed but guys like Chandler jones or even Muhammad Wilkerson had more sacks than Miller, I'm not trying to take anything away from Miller but everyone has been crazy since the SB.
  6. Can you explain with your own words on why he's not a good pass rusher? (I'm not about to watch a 45min video by some random) I don't like to say someone's opinion is wrong because everyone is entitled to their own... But your opinion seems really wrong.
  7. But he didn't play at all during 2014 correct? I believe he was suspended for 3 games before the season started then in September was suspended indefinitely then eventually banned. Edit: just checked Google. He was suspended January 1st 2014 for 3 games (the bowl game and first 2 games in 2014 season) then before he returned from his first he failed another drug test and was eventually banned before hitting the field at all.
  8. I agree there's a lot of guy who might be reaches that I'd take over Stanley, I'm a big fan of Lawson, I don't really have a top 10 right now but I don't think Stanley would even be in my top 10
  9. I don't think spence played at all In 2014 which was Bosa's best statistical year, I could be wrong but I thought Spence was suspended then banned before he even played a game In 2014
  10. If Kubiak doesn't see Clady as a good fit, should we? We're running a similar system. that said he could be better this year since he'll be another year removed from his knee injury, he could be an upgrade over Monroe and who knows maybe Kubes covets a player he coached here in 2014 and we could go with a player for player trade.
  11. I would honestly take Elliott at 6 over Stanley, but even if the big 5 are gone VH3 would be my guy.
  12. Didn't Bosa have his best year after spence left though?
  13. Darian Thompson is probably the highest rated true FS, there's also a couple late round guys who both played a lot of deep coverage well i like a lot in Kevin Byard and Justin Simmons.
  14. He had a battery of a woman charge back in 2014 but I believe the charges were dropped because he agreed to go through a DV program (similar to Ray Rice). It's a shame cause I really like him as a player, I have to wonder if Ozzie will really take him off the board, and if so are we really gonna take any red flagged prospects off our board until the end of time just because we had a very bad situation with one player.
  15. I think ive mentioned him before but I'm a huge fan of Justin Simmons, great deep zone instincts and ball skills, not overly physical but is a solid tackler. This draft class is stacked with DBs I'm hoping we come away with atleast 2 or 3.
  16. I didn't watch too many packers games but I thought HHCD was pretty bad in coverage this year?
  17. I'm not sure Killibrew is right for us, he can put up some highlight hits but he's inconsistent from what I've seen, he'll lay the wood one play and then let a guy run right over him the next, and he doesn't wrap up too well from what I've seen he throws his shoulder which leads to broken tackles.
  18. I wouldn't say Bosa is a great comparison, because he is more of an edge guy, but Buckner does have a nice arm over rip move similar to Bosa and I've seen him use a spin move but that doesn't work to well as an interior pass rusher.
  19. He's a tall athletic guy, a great run defender who fits what we do on defense. Also a developing pass rusher with a great first step. A lot of people see him as a Calais Campbell type player and I think it's a fair comparison but I think Buckner has a higher ceiling.
  20. It doesn't matter too much to me, I have 6 guys I'd be happy with, obviously I'd love one of the big 5 but if somehow they are all gone I'd gladly grab VH3 unless someone really gave us a kings ransom for the pick.
  21. I really hate the idea of trading back especially if it's only for a 2nd and maybe a 3rd, the only trade back I'd be happy with would be getting another 2nd and a 2017 1st. I mean come come on we are never in this position to draft an elite prospect, I'd rather have quality over quantity.
  22. Glad to hear Jaylon Smith is looking good so far, obviously squatting is very different from doing lateral movements, but 400lb reps already sounds very promising considering everyone was thinking his career could be over. would be awesome to grab him in the 3rd.
  23. I like what I've seen from Zack Sanchez he's a very boom or bust type player by that I mean he'll either get an int or give up a TD, but he looks feisty in run support and could fare better as a safety/nickel hybrid, he could be the aggressive type player we've been missing in the secondary.
  24. Yeah they are almost identical sizes, and I really like Floyd but he could also compare to Dion Jordan, and we saw what he was able to do. would definitely take Floyd in the 2nd if he fell though.
  25. Just a heads up the Eagles have the #8 pick now, and Call me crazy but I could really see them taking Stanley.
