I didn't mean he had no YAC ability, if you hit this guy on a slant in stride it'll probably go for a TD, but I just kinda meant he's not the "shake n' bake" instant start stop receiver that can make guys miss on a consistent basis.

Yea he's definitely not an elite YAC guy that's another thing he needs to work on but I think trestman will do well with him, I mean he did wonders with Alshon Jeffery and his route running ability was very limited.

I agree for the most part but I don't think you can really compare perriman with the likes of Dorsett Lockett and mcbride those guys are smaller and more shifty, not to mention Lockett is one of the best route runners in the draft.

Apparently a few teams are inquiring about a trade for dee milliner, could the Ravens be one of those teams? Wouldn't suprise me all that much if Ozzie made a move for him.

WOW this has been the craziest offseason in recent memory.

seeing almost every decent FA get overpaid makes me think the nfl needs to implement a rule similar to the NBA's larry bird exception, something like if you resign a player you drafted you should get a 20% discount of cap space off the actual worth of the contract, as of now the nfl is just punishing teams who draft well.

Torrey is way better than harvin. Harvin has had 3 chances with different teams and couldn't really produce as a true reciever with any of them.

Maybe he'll just move on to another team for a year or 2 I keep seeing reports saying Peyton is all in on another season but it seems the Broncos are hesitant, I'd be kinda scared if he chose to play for another team because I could see the Browns making a major push for him.

I completely understand what your saying he's done nothing to this point. Just curious what do you think the Ravens should do with him keep developing him as D smiths replacement or just cut ties and try and trade him or something?

I don't mean to argue this much lol. But how can you say what he can or can't do when he has had no playing time what so ever? Sure he could be too light to be in that role he could even be a huge bust,but there is always players that defy the odds against them whether it be size speed or strength, basically im trying to say give him a chance before labeling him.

From everything I've read arthur was in the 225+ range when we drafted him and he's gotten up to around 233 during the season i don't think he's as small as your making him out to be

Mcphee did his damage all across the line. Like I said before though I'm not saying Arthur would replace mcphee, just help replace his production being a situational move pass rusher by playing to Arthur's strengths not mcphee's strengths. They are 2 completely different players arthur is never going to line up at De or Nt, but I believe he can rush the passer in his own way.

I still don't think your understanding what I'm trying to say. I'm not saying put him right on the LOS against a guard or something, maybe put him off the LOS and bring him in on some delayed blitzes and such to take advantage of his speed. And Daryl Washington and Mychal Kendricks seem to do fine rushing from the ILB position even though they are in the 230lbs range.

I am aware of that, I'm not trying to say he's gonna be a McPhee clone im just saying he was a good blitzer in college why not give hime a chance in a similar role? i mean there is little to no chance we re-sign McPhee so we're gonna have to find someone to help replace his production anyway, I am in no way saying hes guaranteed to have success in that role im just trying to make a suggestion instead of labeling Brown a Bust already.

I'm not saying put him at DE, just use him as a move pass rusher kinda like McPhee, mcphee often blitzed right up the middle off the LOS, I don't see why Arthur couldn't do that.

I hope Arthur gets a chance this year, it's unfortunate that he's stuck behind two really good linebackers, but seeing how McPhee is probably gone this year why not give Brown a chance to be a situational blitzer? He's not a natural pass rusher like McPhee but he looked pretty good blitzing up the middle in college, he's got great speed, I think we should give him a chance in preseason to come in like McPhee and be the guy they can move all over the line, and unlike McPhee, brown can cover well so that just opens up more possibilities for pees to utilize

The Cowboys aren't picking up their 3 year option on henry Melton, does this mean he is a free agent or will he be considered cut? Either way could be a good replacement for canty especially on passing downs.
