  1. Word is Terrence west is on the Browns roster bubble if they cut him I'd hope the Ravens would hop on him quick
  2. Wow talk about getting value out of a UDFA, he looked pretty good though and there wasnt really any room on our roster for him
  3. I guess Kevin white,Devante Parker,Devin smith and funchess are all busts too cause they have missed time due to injury...
  4. we cut John Simon last year and he wasn't abysmal, he was just buried on the depth chart in our most talented position group, the bills have a lot of secondary talent.
  5. I wouldn't mind giving Ross cockrell a look, bills 4th rounder a year ago, didn't have much of a chance with the bills with Rex coming in.
  6. The starters looked good to me, I really didn't like how they used Waller though. The refs were pretty bad, the skins looked like they were head hunting the whole game. We didn't look great overall but it's preseason, at least wait until week 2 to say the sky is falling. The 2008 lions went 4-0 in the preseason...
  7. I played it for an hour or 2 today, so far I like the new catch mechanics, the speed ratings seem really out of whack though, but perriman and Waller have been insane perriman outruns everyone on the field and Waller catches almost every jump ball.
  8. Don't forget about the 2012 Cincy game, 14 yard td for Dunlap.
  9. I'd probably put the 2006 group over this years, with Ray, Suggs, Adalius Thomas and Bart Scott they all put up solid stats especially sacks and turnovers. I believe this was also the year B. Scott Absolutely Destroyed Roethlisberger, so there's that too.
  10. I think another factor that could help Suggs is playoff sacks, he's at 12.5 right now, if he gets 4 more he'll have the record and that could make him a first ballot guy as long as he gets another 15-20 sacks in the next 2 regular seasons.
  11. DB Depth still concerns me, also we could still use a KR. we could adress both of those with one trade, it might not be entirely likely but if we could give up a 4th rounder(or maybe a player) for Micah Hyde he'd solidify our secondary and compete for the returner job. The only reason Hyde might be available is cause the packers just drafted 2 DB's in the first and second round plus they drafted Ty Montgomery who could take over the KR job.
  12. I'm excited for trestman, a lot of people seem to forget that even though cutler had 30 ints the past 2 seasons he still posted career highs in QB rating TDs and Completion Pct, Flacco is a far better QB and I don't think it's crazy to think he could throw 4400+ yards with at least 30 TDs in this offense, call me an optimist but I'm buying in fully to trestmans offense.
  13. Nate Wozniak, The 6'10" tight end from Minnesota is intriguing if nothing else.
  14. Pats lose a 1st rounder and Brady suspended? This is like Christmas.
  15. I'm not saying that injuries only happen in joint practices I just think that it adds more chances to get injured, I imagine there's a little less care for injury prevention when your going against an opponent.
  16. I was referring to injuries mostly, I believe that was when KLM went down for the season if I'm not mistaken, also I think Timmy Jernigan had a less severe knee injury during the practices as well.
  17. Not a huge fan of joint practices it was nothing but trouble(injuries) last year against the 9ers
  18. The jury is still out for me, all of our receivers that were here prior to engram had down years stats wise after he came in, all though that could have been attributed to the new offense, I didn't see much improvement play wise from 2013 to 2014 that could just be the lack of above average talent at the wide out position rather than engrams ability to coach, we'll soon find out if he is any good this year I think, things I'll be looking for is him helping improve route running ability for most of our receivers since almost all them have questions in that department.
  19. I think canty said it best, the patriots are habitual line steppers, they are constantly pushing the envelope and Goodell does nothing about it, you really think all these billionaire owners care about a 100k fine every now and then? I highly doubt it, to them it's probably just the price to pay for a SB. The pats have been caught a number of times in shady activities, when is it time to start suspending people? Knowing Goodell he'll probably just fire the pats ball boy and fine Kraft a couple hundred thousand and call it a day.
  20. I like Allen's skill set for our offense, from the few games I've watched of him it seemed his o-line didn't do him many favors, he got caught in the back field a lot, but I think he could be a much better player than he was in college mainly because I think our offense is such a good fit for him.
  21. Really glad we're giving him a chance, he knows how to get to the QB maybe he could drop some weight and learn behind Doom.
  22. I agree with you in terms of his smoothness, he has a keen ability to turn up field and turn on the jets, but I still don't see that instant acceleration from a dead stop.
  23. I doubt there would be much of a market but if they like what they see from Waller they could put Marlon on the trade block and see if there's any takers for like a 7th rounder or maybe a player for player trade like we did with colts a few years ago.
  24. I was listening to 105.7 last year before the draft, and I'm pretty sure it was rob that said he would be scared if manziel went to the Browns, and that they would win the division if he did go there. LOL
  25. I really like Waller I think he has real potential, I think his lack of production is mostly scheme based his team only completed 100 some passes and 35 of those went to smelter, once smelter went down Waller had his 2 best games of the year, I won't get my hopes up too high but i really like the combo of trestman and these bigger receivers were picking up.
