  1. Well that's unexpected. Wonder if the violation was before or after the injury(can they drug test players on the IR?)
  2. Same here. Real leaders dont call people out when things go wrong, real leaders take responsibility whether it's they're fault or not,I really think it's time for a change, someone who can really motivate our guys to be aggressive and mean.
  3. I'd like to preface this post by saying I'm NOT saying anyone will be the next JJ Watt or even close but... A guy who really reminds me of that type of player is Deforest Buckner he has the size and athleticism that reminds me of Watt, he has just been insanely dominant at Oregon this year, he looks like the real deal and we are stacked on the D-line but I wouldn't be disappointed if we ended up with him. He truly looks like 10x the player Arik Armstead was at Oregon, we'd have probably the best D-line rotation in the league if we got him.
  4. Have a real RB problem this week it's between Ameer Abdullah,Vereen and Charles sims. Vereen has a great matchup but is so inconsistent if I start him I'm sure he'll have 0 catches if I don't he'll probably have 10+, Abdullah has the worst matchup and has been disappointing this entire season, sims has been consistent the last 3 weeks but can I expect to continue with a tough matchup? Btw it's a PPR league
  5. if Ozzie sees Goff as a luck type talent and he's available to us I'd hope we take him develop him for 1-2 years and then trade flacco for a 1st and 2nd or maybe even 2 first rounders (yes I truly believe a team would give that much for him) the biggest thing for me is that Goff doesn't run a pro style offense like luck did.
  6. If we can actually get bosa and then pick up an athletic LB in the mid rounds for depth I wouldn't mind switching maybe get Josh schobert and try and use him as a Von Miller type Sam LB/ situational pass rusher in a 4-3 under defense, this would allow us to keep the aspects of the 3-4 but not ask bosa to be a stand up LB, i think our personnel is better fit for a 4-3 anyway, I mean Z Smith is 275 Suggs is pretty hefty for a LB too, and hey maybe Arthur brown could actually see some snaps on defense.
  7. The more Games I see the more I think we need to focus on defense in the draft. If we really are drafting high Vernon Hargreaves is my guy reminds me of OBJ but on defense, I like Ramsey as a safety but if it came down to those 2 I'd pick Hargreaves 10 times out of 10.
  8. While that would be a dream come true, I'd say it's closer to 100% pipe dream lol. If Gurley can go top 10 I see no reason why fournette won't be selected in the first five picks, barring some insane situation and or injury.
  9. I think it could be practical, it would probably fit Jernigan better. As far as LBs I say just keep upshaw at LB instead of DE and run an under 4-3 D where upshaw would stay on the LOS and he could keep doing what he does best which is set the edge.
  10. I made a terrible mistake and started vereen over hill. Hue Jackson is killing me.
  11. Were gonna have a lot of needs heading into 2016 i feel like, but I think RB is an underrated need forsett is gonna be 30 and he's really nothing more than a scheme fit. I think we need a game changer at RB someone who can be a receiver too cause joes top 3 receivers tend to be WR #1 then TE then RB at least when we had rice. I like LT and Buck Allen but both seem a little limited athletically.
  12. Seriously considering sitting Jeremy hill this week against KC whose giving up the least points to RBs, I have 2 other pretty good receiving backs but all of them have tough matchup so I'm not sure if I should start vereen against buffalo or ameer Abdullah against Sea or just try to pick up someone with a good matchup like Duke Johnson. It's a 1 PPR league
  13. I like what ive seen from FS Nate Gerry, good size and athleticism looks very solid in coverage, can't really find any thing on what round he's projected to go in if he declares though.
  14. It's a good thing we have Melvin to replace Elam's presence on the field...
  15. The more I think about it, im not sure he's the coordinator for this team, he's not bad he can dial up blitzes and stop the run with the best of them but all teams have to do to beat us is run a hurry up pass heavy offense, plus the inconsistency is crazy the way he can call a masterful game one week (Broncos wk1 steelers playoff game) and then come back and look like he's changed nothing at all the next week, our secondary was decimated last year I'll give him that, but now we have a top 10 corner and a top 3 saftey and some other solid players in the secondary Webb isn't great by any means but how many teams really have 2 legitimate cornerbacks? we shouldn't be this bad against the pass, I can't really say if it's pees or the players but it seems like the secondary still lacks good communication and we still give up the deep ball way too easily.
  16. he is an absolute beast, he does look identical to AP but bigger and I really think he's gonna be the best running back to come out since AP
  17. Really like what I've seen from kentrell brothers ILB from Mizzou, and I've been high on Ezekiel Elliot since last year, on another note if we could somehow get fournette in 2 years that'd be amazing he looks like the second coming of AD we would probably have to pull off a Julio jones type trade though.
  18. He may not be the best DC but is amazing at dialing up blitzes, and held a Peyton manning to 0 TDs (AT HOME)all without Jernigan thats really good. The New England game was our decimated secondary's fault alone not much pees could have done.
  19. This Golden Horseshoe manning has somewhere hidden on his person is really getting annoying...
  20. Kubiak is making Peyton look like Matt schaub.
  21. Should I go Jordan Cameron or ASJ? I was thinking Cameron but the jags completely shut down Olsen last week so I'm a little scared, it's a 1 PPR league.
  22. Too bad perriman is out, he could put on a show on the deep passes with both of their starting safety's out.
  23. We were playing an elite defense and a group of coaches who know flacco well enough to stop him, I'm gonna hold off my judgement until at least week 4, but it really looked like it was trestman trying to run kubiaks offense rather than him running his own and that's kinda worrying, I'd rather have trestman running an offense he's comfortable with.
  24. Eugene Monroe is the first that comes to mind.I'd look into trading for Tamba Hali, he's older and the chiefs have a first rounder in dee ford waiting for a chance.
  25. He does have potential but he's also athletically limited, and for most players especially at the tight end position that can be the difference between good and great.
