  1. I agree completely. Hargreaves is definitely my favorite of the 3, Tunsil and Bosa both seem like very logical picks but part of me kind of hopes they get taken before us because just once I'd like the "flashy" pick.
  2. I like hargreaves alot, I think if we end up picking around 5 he should be our guy. Bosa and tunsil are bound to be gone by then.
  3. I just disagree completely. On tape he has the type of explosion and quickness you see in players like OBJ, and if he compares to Claiborne coming out of college I'd say that's a good thing, Claiborne was one of the most technically sound players to come out in years, he just hasn't be able to get it done at this level so far. As for taking a pass rusher I'd rather wait because pass rusher is much deeper than CB this year.
  4. Not a stand out athlete? He has a 41" vertical and elite quickness, and i don't see how you say he's not very physical he can play press well and he ripped the ball out Leonard Fournettes (230 lbs) hands when he had 2 hands on the ball holding on for dear life.
  5. I had that same realization when I started watching him a while back, and it's one of the reasons I like other players better(still like him quite a bit). To me he kind of looks like a bigger honey badger or maybe even a more athletic Will Hill, where he's more likely to be covering tight ends close to the LOS rather than cover the deep middle like Earl Thomas.
  6. I was referring to the partially torn biceps and the the broken leg, he doesn't have problems with nagging injuries that I am aware of but I still get a little nervous with major injuries especially with these past 3 years with more players on IR than I can count,I don't want to be overly dramatic but frankly we need this pick to be perfect.
  7. While Tackle isn't my first choice I would accept it, only for tunsil though the injury history kind of scares me considering its our first high pick in years but he's looked good. My biggest question is are we gonna be a ZBS team or a power scheme? It kinda seems like trestman can't make up his mind.
  8. But then he used the cap space for huge contracts for Demarco Murray And Byron Maxwell. So was the trade really worth it?
  9. I agree he could lose his GM responsibility, it wouldn't surprise me if he got fired but I think the only way that happens is if the players come out and make it happen. I think he's made some good moves and some bad moves I liked a lot of the players he drafted and Maclin just got over paid. The things I don't get is giving 60+mil to a sub par CB and trading a good young RB for a LB that they didn't even really need.
  10. I meant the two 10 win seasons.
  11. I don't know, I can't see him being fire after 2 good seasons he's shown he can win, now he wants to build his own team and that doesn't happen overnight. And yea he is taking a belichick type approach but Jeffery Lurie probably likes that, I mean he's from Boston and is a huge Boston sports fan, he more than likely brought in Kelly to build his own patriots.
  12. Really excited to see what he can do I'll temper my expectations with him coming off 2 major injuries but he was a favorite of mine during the draft process and has gotten non stop praise it seems whenever he was on the practice field. For what that's worth.
  13. There really only seems to be 2 guys that are projected high 1st rounders and thats Goff and Lynch, now the question is will the perceived lack of top end talent drive up demand for the top 2? I think it will. And call me crazy cause they just traded for Bradford but I could see Chip Kelly making a big move for Goff.
  14. I like Ogbah a lot but I think I'm In the same boat right now, Ogbah is dominating with mostly strength and athleticism but Lawson seems like he works hard on his Technique which you don't always see with guys coming out of college, they are really close talent wise to me but Lawson seems like more of a unanimous first rounder to most whereas Ogbah is kind of all over the place.
  15. I think Goff will garner attention from a few teams he's been hyped up quite a bit. I think the best case scenario for us getting a huge draft day haul (talking multiple 1st rounders) is us having the number 1 pick and the Browns have the number 2, I think the Browns are gonna once again be targeting a QB and teams are gonna wanna jump in front of them as far as who we would trade with I'm thinking maybe the Eagles and the 9ers I'd say the skins would be looking too but I can't imagine they'd be stupid enough to mortgage their future twice. I'd never root for us to lose...but if we happen to lose Monday that could put us in prime position.
  16. yea, Clemson I was watching jayron Kearse and Lawson made a few plays so I decided to start watching him instead. I'd highly recommend checking him out.
  17. I got around to watching some film last night, I came away super impressed by Shaq Lawson he's quickly becoming my favorite guy next to VH3 I think we could realistically trade back and still get him. He doesn't have the numbers that other guys I like have (Nassib Ogbah) but he looks really polished, moves really well at 275 pounds has a multitude of rush moves including a spectacular spin move he already has some experience rushing the QB standing up and with his hand in the dirt, he even drops into coverage every once in a while and looks pretty good at it. You look at his stats and they are decent but don't really stand out, he didn't have a sack against Notre Dame but he beat Ronnie Stanley quite a few times with bull rushes and his patented spin move.
  18. BB had some very choice words for the home fans... Lol
  19. I just got around to watching more of him and I agree I'm seeing him as a mid to late 3rd rounder, he allows too much separation in man coverage and he gets really grabby on deep throws and QB scrambles, and i like him as a safety better as well he takes good angles and is a pretty solid tackler for the most part.
  20. Id call it a dark season rather than a dark era. We just need a few good players on both sides of the ball, and this high draft position gives us that opportunity
  21. We traded up for flacco id say that worked out pretty well, just because you miss a few times doesn't means you should stop trying the get the player you really want.
  22. Wow jimmy looked like he had literally zero ball skills.
  23. Looked like forsett shattered his wrist. You could see it in the replay.
  24. Looks pretty bad for forsett.
  25. As much as I'd like to grab a wide receiver in the first 2 rounds, I really don't think it's practical. Look at the position we were in this year relying on one rookie to be a #2 receiver, now imagine drafting another high and relying on 2 guys who have never played a down in the NFL to be our saving grace. I don't mind taking a wide receiver high but we NEED to either sign or trade for a solid wideout this offseason.
