If Houston already made the playoffs with their sorry excuse for quarterbacks, then I think they can afford to mortgage the future a little, I think O'brian is buying time doing well without a decent QB but he knows he can't go far without a QB, if they gave up 2 1st and a 2nd they'd still be in good shape to add a few more good players around their new QB. And if all goes well their new QB will tank and the Texans go 2-14 and we have the number one overall pick in 2017.

The more i think about it, the less I want Treadwell at 6, it's not him as a prospect I just still don't think he's great value this high. I think there is some decent receivers in round 2 and 3. Hargreaves still seems to be my guy everyone is freaking out about his last few games but to me he's still the most technically sound corner to come out in years, when you compare VH3 and Treadwell, Hargreaves is still the best corner prospect in years whereas Treadwell would be behind Cooper Watkins Evans OBJ Julio Aj Green and even Justin Blackmon IMO. Really the only argument I've ever heard for Hargreaves is his size and these last few games where he wasn't great but still only gave up 1 touchdown all year.

I'm not sure Robinson falls that far, it wouldn't surprise me if he went top 5. And I don't think Two 2nds is really worth trading back in this draft.

Can't help but feel bad for the rams fans, they've had to deal with a mediocre team for years now and it's sorta starting to look up and now they're moving. If Kroenke was smart he'd drop that loser fisher, or else those fair weather LA fans will be very disappointed when they deal with another losing season.

My perspective of true draft value is drafting someone that won't last long after you're pick, we could pick Treadwell at 6 but would it be great value? Because IMO if we don't pick him he could very well fall to 10-12, whereas someone like Bosa could fall to us but you know he won't make it past 7 or 8 if we passed on him. As far as what to expect if you draft someone in the top ten, you usually draft them thinking they have pro bowl talent anything past top 20 to the second round you hope for a starter.

Brooks might actually be able to carve out a role if pees would just simplify the defense.

Yeah I saw that a couple days ago when I was watching tape on him it was vs Lsu I think, it was awesome. He really looks so fast on the field could you imagine if he ran a sub 5 sec 40? Would probably instantly shoot into the top 5.

His team is pretty much already an NFL roster lol, I'd like to see him give it another go.

Jordan leggett has looked pretty good, he's kinda flown under my radar but if he declares he could end up going high on the second day.

If it came down to him vs Buckner at #6 i wouldn't know who to go with, I think Buckner edges him out slightly still cause we need more of a pass rusher.

I was wondering why this thread was so dead at first.That Henry run pretty much sums up why I'm not a huge fan of his unless he falls in the draft, I mean that hole was huge all he had to do was outrun one guy, he was pretty much untouched.

Well it would depend on if they see themselves in a rebuilding stage, or maybe they draft a receiver and see Torrey as overpriced for what he's giving them,i mean 40 mil for a guy that gives you 600 yards?

I wouldn't mind seeing him come back, theres rarely situations like the one I'm suggesting could happen, the only time I can think of when this happen is last year with Michael Johnson getting big money from the Bucs then cut after a year and back to the bengals. I mean it almost never happens but if Torrey was cut he seems like the type of guy that would be very open to coming back, and I think if Ozzie can sign him for less then we were going to last year (35mil IIRC) it could happen, but then again who knows.

If they cut him post June 1 they'd save 6 mil in 2016 and 8 mil a year for the rest of the contract with only 1.5 a year in dead money. So there's definitely savings to be had

Yeah luck as in he probably couldn't do it again as martavis has really questionable hands and drops a lot of balls.
