  1. We won't just won't have a clear cut depth chart, there's no Alpha WR in camp right now and everyone seems to be about equal. Me guess is we work a rotation like this:

    Aiken

    Smith/perriman

    Brown

    Butler

    Carter/Camp

    Waller

Guys at the top of the list are simply in the game more, and rotated out less however everyone will probably see the field in a game. Whoever gets hit on one game is the #1 WR of that game, if they continuously show taking they'll be the de facto #1 of the depth chart.

  2. Don't ever sleep on the Steelers to the poster at the beginning of this thread. Their offense will possibly be a Top 10 offense and Big Ben is still one of the best at backyard football with Top 5 RB in Bell and Top 5 WR in Brown.

Look back at recent history, the Ravebs tend to blow by top offenses, Saints we're ranked the top offense in the league last year and that game was over by the beginning of the fourth Quarter, same goes for the Falcons, they had a top offense and we blew them out. We blew the overrated Steelers offense out TWICE last year and in one of those games we had virtually no starting caliber DB's.

  3. If this were any other rookie receiver, it wouldn't be news. He will be heavily scrutinized for drops and fans (and self-styled scouting experts) will play chicken little every time a report is made that he dropped a ball.

I only hope he doesn't listen to this stuff and ends up putting more pressure on himself than there already is.

I wouldn't say that, there was just a report that Kevin White hasent even ran with the first team yet.

  4. !!!!!!!!!!!......Breshad Perriman buddy if you read this just always remember life is about getting better everyday and who you are right now as a player will be totally different in five years if you work your BUTT off. The greatest receiver ever JERRY RICE had problem with drops early in career, so yea stay focus kid.

Perriman doesn't want to cheat, so Rice might not be the best example...

  5. I like our roster from top to bottom. The Sqeelers have a very dynamic and potentially a very prolific offense but their defense has more question marks then the riddler. Who is playing CB for them? How about Safety? Their entire defensive backfield is sketchy at best and a single injury there could be devastating to their season. They have LB's that are highly drafted but also highly unaccomplished. The have a DL with talent on the outside and weak in the middle. They have no depth on that DL or anywhere in the front 7. WHile I think their offense is very good... there defense is in the bottom 10 in the league. How could any reputable sports writer suggest that they have more talent then us as a team???? that is a joke.

steelers may be the most overrated team in the league, we've seen that when all of our defense is mildy  competent (week 2 and the playoffs of last season) we dominate them. Plus now their defense is terrible.

  6. 1. Shaub got picked of by Elam in practice again. I think it's time to move on. Tyrod>>>>>>>>>>>>>Shaub. There might be better QB's on a practice squad somewhere.

    2. Apparently Joe went off during practice today, reports are saying he's been on ire all offseason and is only getting better.

    3. Perriman has improved, even caught a long TD.

    4.Webb is quickly returning.

    5. Jimmy is ahead of schedule and practicing with everyone.

  7. Biggest ? for me is OLB position. I wonder if Suggs and Dumervil can still produce at the level they produced last season. If they don't or one of them get injured who is there to replace that production? The safety position is also shaky in my eyes, but if Matt Elam plays up to his potential with will hill back there I believe they can be solid.

Dumervil just had the best year of his career, he'll be a top pass rusher for a few more years.

  8. Aiken showed potential last year, and Marlon Brown isn't bad. I think Perriman can make an impact this season. Plus steve can still produce. Don't forget about Darren Waller too. WR seems pretty good. Aiken, Perriman and Smith/Brown/Waller is a good lineup. And if worse comes to worse we still have 3 pass catching Tight Ends.just pray that Elvis, Flacco or Hill don't get injuried.

  9. Melvin didn't show me much. Against Brady, he came up zilch. I could say he lost the game. Eight or nine months down the road isn't going to make him any better. He will perform equally bad against any opposing top QB. He may feel more confident starting to play somewhere else. I haven't been negged in awhile so bring it on.

So one bad game while injuried while going against the GOAT and he sucks?

  10. I disagree with your whole idea with the potential. Asa Jackson was the no. 3 cornerback last year. He has more experience so your idea of putting Melvin in over him sounds crazy. It's too early to declare him higher. Unless, he shows me some interceptions in preseason or something. I think Asa is in better position due to playing time.

Asa unreliable and is only an almost serviceable #3 CB after his 3rd season, we grabbed Melvin off a practice squad and he played his first games ever here and was the #2, and he did pretty dang good before going against the arguable GOAT.

  11. Fitzgerald Toussant would be good as both but that means you have 4 running backs plus a fullback. I would love to see him play snaps as well but I don't see it happening. Asa Jackson is extremely valuable considering if Smith or Webb get hurt. He has to be the no. 2 corner to allow Kyle Arrington to be your no. 3 shutdown cb or let Vaughn play no. 2. I think Carter seems ideal because the opening being made by the number of receivers being hurt if Campanaro does not come back in time to claim the job.

There's a chance Asa doesn't male the team this year. When Webb or Jimmy go down Melvin is going in, he's shown WAY more potential already. And after Melvin Vaughn is going in because he has starting experience. If Asa can't be THE returner he's not making the team.

  12. The difference between 4.46 and 4.36 is less than one foot, basically an eyelash, throw in Waller's height and strength and that more than makes up for it. The average speed among WRs and CBs is 4.55 so Waller has above average speed. Dez Bryant runs a 4.52 and is one of the top WRs. Waller is bigger than Bryant and faster, so there is potential that Waller could be a top notch WR for the Ravens alongside Perriman in the future.

Lol no, 4.46 and 4.36 are totally different. 4.36 makes you a vicious deep threat. 4.46 is a good possession WR.
