Solomon Thomas. Was he on anyone's board?
Ray Lewis was drafted in 1996 as the 26th overall pick, not 2006.
Remember drafting Todd Heap in 2011? Good times.
I love the fact we drafted Ed Reed in 2012. Super Bowl bound.
My heart is broken.
Just putting this out there: Terrell Davis. And I don't think we're losing much.
As a german I'm not very in to college football..
Will there be any QB prospects worth to pick on day three of the draft? I really think Joe needs to be challenged by a fresh young backup so he can rise back to his best football. Don't think Mallet or Schaub gave him this challenge.
Anyway am I the only one who wonders why the Colts seem to be overrated every single season?!?
Sorry for my bad english and best wishes from germany!
#Ravens@SBLIIContractually we have no choice but to stick with Flacco for another three years. If we draft a QB, it would have to be in the later rounds on a player who might possible develop. New England got Brady in the 6th round for example. We have way too many holes to fill to draft a QB who will sit before round 6 or 7.
I totally agree we do have way bigger needs at pass rush, DB and WR. I hope we can fix some of that via free agency and draft.
I also don't want Flacco to go! Hope he will last as our QB for many years. I think he got all an elite QB needs.. altough he couldn't show it very much this season (due to his injury and some other reasons).
I don't want them to draft a QB who can start for us next season, but I am wondering if there would be someone who offers a fresh breeze to our QB situation and who can develop and learn from Joe.
In most draft classes there are talented and underestimated young guys in the later rounds (Brady, Prescott,...).Well, lets be realistic also. A day 3 draft pick isn't being chosen to "challenge" Joe for a starting job. He's being brought in to challenge for a backup job, and MAYBE, if he's a once in a generational player like Brady is, after 2-3 years, MAYBE he would be in a position to compete for the starting job.
While there are plenty of good players who get drafted on day 3 or even go undrafted, the fact that Brady is the most common one referenced, and he was drafted 17 years ago, kind of tells us all we need to know about just how many effective QBs come out of day 3.
Its a coin toss these days whether you can get an effective QB in round 1. It only decreases in odds with every round you wait.
Seriously some people think great quarterbacks grow on trees. We were lucky to get Flacco and the Falcons were lucky to get Ryan. I remember those years before him when we had in prime best linebackers, safety, offensive tackle, and great tight end and running backs, and couldn't make it past the first round.

Now has the best rb duo easily... The only player joe has had close in that realm of talent is Ray Rice. But Joe had a defense......
Devil's advocate
Joe has also beaten Tom Brady to win his first. Ryan has more to answer for than Joe in his career.
Still waiting for Brady and Belicheck to retire.
Patriots win. Again. Can Brady and Belicheck retire now?
I'm watching Ryan open up the running game with the pass! Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo why can't someone I know do this?! It has to be vice versa in his book!
Our pass game has to be feared to do that, and Julio does not play for us.
Why do I feel Matt Ryan's SB win is prefacing a Ryan vs. Flacco super bowl in the future?
My guess, and that's if Brady feels like retiring, they need a new Brady vs. Manning.
It's in the can. Now we must regroup. My Ravens New Year's resolution: Better playmakers (offense and defense) and a stronger O-line. Some new coordinators couldn't hurt.
And now the D finally says I'm done.
Yes! Moseley!
See what you do Z? Pack your bags, we're getting a new center.
Dixon says suck it.
Run, run, pass. Everybody sees it.
Boom! Orr!
Just now, codizzle said:Ugh. Just off
get in the end zone
End zone is a foreign concept to this team.
Just now, ravensdfan said:we need offensive linemen. we need corners. egad we have so many needs on this team.
The result of ignoring those needs for four years.

Sick of dropped everything.
Just now, PoeDinkum said:D's not tired SO what's the excuse this week?
Just couldn't do it anymore. Peas must be fired so they're flopping.
Styx....No matter what advantage we get. We still can't get any points.
