the ship is sinking. both coordinators are so predictable it's hilarious. Trestman, stop teaching joe to lob passes, if that throw was a dart to SSS, most likely it would've been a TD. The draws were so easy to predict every time they were ran. Please give the keys back to Joe and pound the ball between the guards. Pees, use press coverage! you have good corners and safeties yet you would rather let offenses get 7-10 yard passes until the red zone then pray the defense makes a play. Get Aggressive! we have a lot of talent on that side. i would rather gamble with a blitz or pressing the Wr and have them make a play then watch them get these short yardage plays, one after another. ughhhhhh
this game absolutely killed me to watch. our corners were not pressing! Defensive line was getting no pressure and a 2nd year Qb carves up a very talented unit? how does that happen?
My final thoughts are that Flacco slightly led SSS in the end zone what should've been a TD. two weeks in a row we were a caught football from most likely winning our games. Settling for field goals will always cost you, just like the Chargers game last year. I pray the Defensive line and pass rushers get real motivated because they looked real ordinary against a below average O-line of the Raiders
The Ravens D is back! I know sizzle is gone and i hope he has a quick successful recovery, but our players on D looked great. Williams and Davis on the line were moving piles and dominating O-lineman, Mosley and Smith played great against the run and came in n blitzes and did well in coverage--beside a potential pick six for smith lol. Pees found a way to utilize talent to get to Peyton.Jimmy Smith is on a whole other level right now and even Webby looked pretty good too. Hill was all over the place as well disguising coverages and making plays on the ball everywhere. I hope Upshaw and Smith step up to add pressure with Sizzle gone. I wouldn't mind Pees bringing in A. Brown and McClellan on certain blitz packages too. I'm praying Timmy comes back to get inside pressure and Permian lights in up in Oakland! We got this Ravens Nation!
Despite losing the game and our Defensive Captain, the great news is Pees is finally calling great defensive plays! Great mix of blitz packages and the players executed them. Also, Jimmy Smith is a straight STUD! He shut down a top 3 receiver and made every tackle possible. I was even really pleased with Webbys aggressive play and Hill's nice deceptive coverages. running to the line and either coming in to make a play or dropping back in coverage so quickly certainly made Peyton think twice.
That bounce off the hands was hard to watch! i swore it was about to be game over!=[ get the offense going early next week. Remember, Denver is a legit top 3-5 defense at home and our young talent needs time to gel. It's hard for the o-line to hold up during heavy blitzes and their corners and linebackers playing great in coverage. We need Permian to come back and regret playing so close to the line.
That banned seriously made my days. That's freaking hilarious. I'm glad we finally heard some news on Carl Davis, I have some real high hopes for him
The nastiest offensive lineman in the league by a mile, just ask Suh lol
I'd say overall flacco isn't a flashy statistics guy but he knows how to win games. I'd rank him anywhere between 4-6 and top 2-3 in the post season. I won't surprised if he ends his career with 3 rings and 16 or more playoff wins. If his receivers blossom early this year, oh man look out.
P.s. As much as I love ray and what he meant to this organization. Ed reed gets my vote. I think he was slightly better at his position than Ray was during their respective primes. And that is only by a hair
I respect Big Ben's abilities and all because he is an excellent QB who is rather fearless but January Joe is playing out of his mind in the playoffs since 2010 and now he finally has an Oline that is the same from the previous season along with a lot of weapons that have high ceilings. If Perriman develops quick and Maxx can ease into the difficult transition with a possible return of Pitta, this offense might be absolutely lethal. Plus let's remember Joe gets hammered just as bad as Ben sometimes for waiting for plays to develop and he gets back up each time like a champ. I predict at least 5 more playoff wins and a SB title and if we can have another good draft or two we might just win 2 or more.
He's a blessing. Hard work always pays off justin. Especially to get us to the dance at SB50. I can't stand when people say that Forsett had a lucky year when his career YPC is 5.1!
Williams and Jernigan are about to be a real big problem. Absolute offensive line destroyers
Perriman and Maxx give Flacco some nice young weapons with a tremendous amount of ability. Aiken and Brown have so much potential too. I hope Trestman gets them involved
Please get SSS a ring. That will validate his canton trip, even though I think his stats, work ethic, highlights, and passion make him worthy, some still question if he will make it in over guys like Wayne, and Johnson.
Despite losing Ngata and McPhee I think we will have a great interior rush to compliment sizzle and doom. Williams pushing the center off balance with Timmy's quick movements up the middle plus the sheer power of Davis along with Canty, Urban, KLM, and Tyson, we will be dangerous. We even have Guy who I think is vastly underrated. I'm seriously hoping Davis plays ultra aggressive and racks up a lot of QB pressures
I would love Marlon and Perriman to line up on the outside and SSS to rip open the middle in the slot. Brown just needs the playing time. He has a lot of talent once he gets going.
I do love our jerseys but I wouldn't mind an extra alternative to throw in the mix. Something cool with ravens wings on the shoulders or something with a purple and gold scheme.
I'd have to say that he might just be the most underrated Raven. His blue-collar work ethic and grit sets him apart from almost any other LB in run support. He turns everything inside and can absolutely dominate Offensive linemen. I hope with our stout D-line that he gets some nice opportunities to thump QB's lol
Harrison constantly bashes the Ravens or pays them no attention so I wouldn't be too worried about off-season rankings. I realistically believe Joe could fall anywhere between 5 to 7 currently, but that's likely to change once he tears it up this season. Oh and if we factor in post season, i'll take him over Brady or Rodgers anyday.
Melvin is a dark horse to get some real playing time. physical kid with a great approach to the game. All he needs to do is work on his technique and study lots of film so he doesn't get tricked out there by the veterans.
When the game is on the line in the playoffs, this offense has serious potential to threaten any defense, especially the middle of the field now with Maxx , Boyle and SSS
Secondary is looking rather solid! Our top 3 corners and will hill are cemented in there. But does Elam , brooks, or Lewis get the other spot by mid season?
Nick perry is a thumper! Safety position is looking good
We all love you Ed! You were my childhood hero and favorite Raven to ever play. I seriously miss the excitement of watching you on the field, especially overtime the ball was in the air and everyone just knew you would be there to make the play.
The Browns always snag the players I hope we get in the later rounds. Don't get me wrong, I think our picks were great, especially our first four. But i really was hoping we would get Duke or Ifo late. Buck Allen seems to be a Forsett like players though with great vision and high character so no complaints.
As a side note, it will be interesting to see if Dupree and Z. Smith embrace the rivalry and become rivals to see who will outshine the other. What would be amazing is if Smith shows off his high-motor and wreaks havoc on Pitt while we rub it in their face that we got him in the fourth!

Please uneasy Babin he is relentless regardless of age. These games up until the bye are critical and we don't have any more time to experiment. Him and Doom need to get to the QB.
P.S.- if Pees doesn't call an aggressive game and we see him dropping 7 and 8 guys into coverage with our corners playing 10 yards off and our lineman not having their hands in the dirt, we must sign a petition to get his non-aggressive play calling off our team.
