Say what you want about Trestman, I like the guy a lot. My only criticism is that the strength of our line is run blocking, therefore we should have ran the ball more, but the scoreboard situation makes sense. I mean come on people, in a lot of our games we simply lost because of a ton of turnovers and a lack of forcing them. The KC game was a perfect example. Some of the shotgun draw plays were predictable early in the season, yet since then, I have been blown away by his ability to ensure we didn't absolutely tank. I hope he gets a redemption season in 2016.
Absolutely love our home crowd. We really rally together in there.
KO is dominant and continuously puts Harrison on his back. I pray we keep him. As Matt Burke said during his rookie year. His physicality and violent blocking make him a force to be reckoned with. Ozzie you cannot let him go!
Problem solved. Trade Monroe, sign KO and keep the depth on the O-line with Jensen at LG. unless a Top 2 tackle falls to us I'd rather us get one past the second round.
I think Jimmy was injured all year, he was blanketing receivers last year and had the burst to get to the ball. This year however, he looked like he didn't have a second gear. I pray he gets healthy and we have a coordinator that allows him to put his hands of receivers at the line. Jimmy is and always has been a physical press corner, not a finesse cover guy that uses speed and athleticism to defense passes--maybe a little bit. I think 2016 will be his year and webby and wright also looked pretty good. It is all a team effort and that is what won us the game!
This schedule at first glance seems manageable. Not traveling to the west coast is huge and the NFC East and AFC East is way easier than the NFC and AFC West. To me, the only away games that look tough is obviously NE and Cincy. It is time to re-load OZ! This top 10 draft pick and our position throughout it should be great to bolster the roster.
Made my day to watch us sweep them this year. I know some won't like this statement, but I respect the heck out Tomlin and most of the Steelers players--on most days--and them giving us respect is great for the rivalry. I really wish that 101 yard pick six would have been legit and the flag was never thrown.
I am loving what Allen is doing, especially as a dual-threat back. I love Forsett too and think he is great for at lease one more year, but I want some of my fellow Ravens to answer this question. If Fournette is available at the top of the second, should we get him as the other part of the 1-2 punch? He is big fast and explosive and Lorenzo seemingly can't stay healthy. I know we have a lot of needs, but I am curious to know what people are thinking?
I hope we keep Upshaw, regardless of his infractions, he is an adversitial defender, which may not mean a sack artist, but he does a lot of dirty work and on the field adjustments that help us. Despite the PIs Jimmy had a good game and I think this will help his confidence. I'm glad he was making plays out there because I think when fully healthy he is top 10 material. Just have to let him be physical! He isn't a crazy finesse cover guy, but if he can press and anger the receivers he tends to win the battles! Go team go
Oh yeah, great job flexing us out of prime time, that Vikings and Giants game tore up the ratings and put fans on the edge of their seats%uD83D%uDE05
After weeks of early mock drafts and reading through forums, I think the guy most people want and think we will get is certainly going to be available 5-10, which is Jalen Ramsey. Most scouts see him as a FS at the next level and many see him sliding to the back end of the top 10 and we will have a chance to grab him. Just think about this, Waynes was the top CB last year and went 11th, Landon Collins went in the second round. Clinton-Dix went in the 20s the year before so we certainly have a chance. I really want him or a pass rushed, we will see Ravens nation!
Santa made his final trip to Baltimore yesterday! For a season full of disappointment and frustration, this win made it all feel alright! TheBank was deafening! I love my Ravens family out there.
Both are great players. Glad to have them both. Williams is a run stuffing, hole clogging machine, but he hasn't gotten the ol flashy sacks to shine the spotlight on him, but we know how valuable he is in Baltimore.
Dear Ozzie Clause,
Please don't ever let Williams go. He is a bulldozer and I want his jersey for Christmas.
Thank you sir
Aiken is a heck of a player! that is for sure
I am not one to dwell on what could have been, but man, Marcus Peters is as good as everyone thought he would be and I wish he was in black and purple because we all know we need some more play makers. The guy in his rookie campaign has 7 interceptions and 24 passed defended, pretty stellar numbers if you ask me. I'm praying Perriman tears it up next year.
I'm 90% positive that Jimmy has been hugely effected by his foot injury. I watched his 2013 and 2014 seasons and guess what, the guy was a top 10 corner. He was quick, physical, and had a way of getting his hands on the ball. With injuries that side-line you for awhile. It is hard to come back and immediately re-gain form. A lack of a pass rush doesn't help either, or a lack of communication on coverage. Every fan wants to bash our players when they don't plays great, which I get, but I'm optimistic with a full off-season and hopefully a revamped D, our shut down corner will have a better chance of getting started on the right foot. I hope you have a speedy recovery Smith.
in a season full of negativity, he has been a sure bright spot. he better be a part of our plans moving forward. a real nice #2 WR I think.
Two quick points:
(1) We have been losing the turn over battle horribly all year and it has cost us all of our games. We give away dumb turnovers where you just scratch your head and wonder why. Plus, we can't force any. No interceptions and no forced fumbled.....I wonder why
(2) These dumb penalties are getting excessive, particularly Jernigan's. I like him as a player, but he has on multiple occasions blamed QBs way too late, he needs to be pulled aside and taught that it costs us games! just look at the freaking Oakland game!
It's absolutely surprising that our offense is still putting up yards though
Forsett you're the true MVP. I miss seeing you weave in and out of blockers and defenders
Cool Joe is our QB! January Joe we miss You!
It is painful to watch talented young players get groomed here then leave for bigger pay days. I get that it is a business, and that these players have their own interests, but the sports world as a whole has just become so obsessed over money that players would rather uproot their families and leave the team that drafted them for a few extra bucks, which I get can be a lot when team such as the Dolphins are willing to make a DT the highest paid player ever, but I just wish that players would be more home-team oriented. I'm not even singling out anyone on this team, just the NFL and sports in general. How awesome would it be if players thought, you know what if my Ravens for example are willing to give me 5 years and 25 million, I'll stay here to win championships and cement a legacy, instead of taking 5 years and $30 on a pedestrian team that can't even go .500.
It's all frustration and obviously everyone can't get paid, but if we kept just one extra player every year instead of losing them to free agency. We would be stacked every season.
This team is already in redemption mode. Once Ozzie can can some dead money taken care of and has a little room to maneuver I think he'll build another playoff squad. I still think some crazy voodoo witch doctor put a curse on the Ravens. Still trying to decipher if the witch doctor is a Patriots, Steelers, or Browns fan though.
p.s. Ramsey for the win! Please, Playmakers is what we need
We need a reliable LT, Monroe is above average WHEN he plays. I always feel bad for injury prone talented players, but we can't afford our back up LTs getting chucked into our QB. Sign KO! Please for the love of God, He is entertaining to watch and have you ever stood next to him in person? He is mammoth.

I am excited to see how he can do with a more experienced and talented arsenal next year. While I think the focal point of the draft should be to improve on defense, I really hope SSS comes back, Perriman is a force to be reckoned with, we keep Aiken going, Matthews develops here to his potential and so does our TEs, maybe even a return of Pitta. I also am kind of hoping we get another savvy vet to help with consistency. 2016 we are ready for you
