Davis v Williams🤔 

I've gone back and forth so much. Williams has an immense ceiling and his size/ catch radius cannot be overlooked. He has also done damage against elite competition.

Davis on the other hand is so much more polished and has good size as well. He attacks the ball and is versatile enough to play inside or outside. I see him as a work horse, a guy that always has something to prove and will work for the ball on each play. He hasn't faces elite competition however. 

If both are on the board I would have to flip a coin and walk away because I couldn't make that call. If Williams is 100% committed and focused I think he had all-pro potential, but if he slacks off, he could be just another big receiver. 

I don't think A is realistic at all. 

I'd take B gladly.

To be God honest, this mock makes the most sense on draft day. Some surprises early with Jets and LA both taking QBs then Foster going to Carolina. 

Finally, us taking Reddick over Davis, which just seems like an Ozzie move. Great mock.

But which would you pick if all were there, or at least all except Foster. I'd be so torn between Reddick, Davis and Lamp. 

I think Reddick's value will be based on how he is utilized. ILB on 1st and 2nd and bring him on the edge on third would be best, which we could rush him or drop him back to mix up coverages. 

I think Flacco does best with a great Offensive line, so Lamp could help make that happen, yet, I am not sure where they will actually play him. 

As much as I am opposed to us taking a WR--mainly because of the Drafted WR curse--Corey Davis seems special and I think he bring a very impressive slate of positives that will help him excel at the next level. Flacco needs a legit play maker that he can trust to get open down field consistently and will have high YAC. 

If we did get Corey Davis, Takk and Moreau, id be happier than a kid on Christmas.

Interesting that SSS sees Ross as a better value than Williams. I get the separation issue, yet that easily gets made up for by his catch radius and size. If Ross didn't have an injury history I think too teams would take him more seriously.

 Steve did seem to be sold on Davis though, as does our FO. Even Davis said he wanted to be here indirectly by saying how awesome it was visiting the castle. I really hope it pans out.

I really like the connection to Corey Davis. I like his work ethic and upside. Not many receivers come into the league with the physical tools and polished routes. He just looks like he was meant to be in black and purple.
