Mock was as fire as it gets. The plot was Oscar worthy

How do I sign up for a new account on there?
Only have been a member since 14' but I remember checking in on the comment section every morning after games during the beginning of the Flacco-Harbaugh era to see what the other fans felt and it always felt awesome to know there was so many other passionate fans out there.
I've learned a lot about the game and our team over the years and I'll miss these boards, especially the draft crew! Shout out to you semi-pro scouts and analysts haha. I hope I'll catch you guys on another forum soon.

So our accounts will still function on here to comment on the news articles? Or, do we have to access them via social media?🤔
I like Humphrey a lot. He needs to be coached on getting his head turned around quicker while the ball is in the air in man coverage. In zone he appears to do great, but savvy route runners will get him. I wonder how much he will be utilizes year 1.
Will pees use Bowser as a joker defender or will he try to keep him plugged in as OLB?

Ah makes sense. If he can come back strong g from injury I think he will be a stout player.
Did Joe Mathis sign anywhere?🤔

Okay, let's hear it. Who would you have taken? The only first round worthy receivers were all taken.
At 47, there was no real deserving WR meant to go in that slot, not even an O lineman, unless we over drafted Elflein or Feeney. I think Smith-Schuster would have been a reach.
Then the only other picks I really could have seen value in were Godwin in the third, but at the cost of Tim Williams? Def not. Maybe instead of Wormley.
The board was likely not going to stack well for us for offensive players. There is still time for another vet receiver to be added. The most effective way to have a better offense is to get a better line that will open up holes in the run game. Siragusa likely will contribute to that right away.
As always, it's too soon to actually assign a grade to a draft class, but based on value and projections, I'd give this class a B+.
My only gripe about the whole thing was that I thought we could have been a little more aggressive in securing Dan Feeney or Pat Elflein in the third, but other than that, not a bad class for the amount of picks we had.
Realistically what has been holding us back? A bad secondary and an abysmal pass rush that cannot get home to close out games. Even dating back to 14' when we faced the Patriots, it wasn't Flacco's ineptitude to score points that sunk out ship, it was our atrocious secondary. We have given up the most go ahead TDs over the past two years and I think the FO wanted to make sure we limited that moving forward.
Humphrey is getting a lot of flack, but realistically, he was a top 3 corner in this draft after Sidney went down. His ball tracking skills can be coached as he goes and honestly, that's his only real problem. He checks every other box. He will in time anchor the secondary.
Williams and Bowser will give us explosive pass rushers and will allow Suggs more rest so that he will be more effective when he is on the field.
Siragusa will likely be our LG and I really like the gesture that we will be moving back to a power scheme.

If the philosophical change in approach is true, then I expect that to be a 2-3 year transition to being the team resembling that style. So that means potentially 1-2 more years of middling, not-yet-fully-developed, average team stats and finishes before the break out comes.
Lmao what the hell are you talking about? We already were trending in that direction. We were the #1 d for a few weeks and finished 7th. We needed a better pass rush and corner depth to really elevate the defense and now we have those reinforcements.
Had we been 15th or worse on defense then okay, but we were already knocking on the door if a great defense, especially w J. Smith on the field 🙄

Lol Stanley at LT, Lewis or Siragusa at LG, Mangold or Urschel at C, Yanda at RG and Lewis or a FA at RT. We will be fine. Goose had a late second early third grade on him by most, he will develop nicely.
We all need to migrate together, post a link to new forum.
Ah, I was hoping we get toth and Joe Mathis
Trade up for King or grab Guillermo next.
I wish we would trade up for Desmond King!

It's crazy how Steelers, Bengals, and Browns are going more dynamic on offense. Adding weapons left and right. We are going in the opposite direction and loading up on D.
Defense wins championships. Our soon to be elite defense will be ready to lay the hammer come September.
Siragusa, not too shabby! I would have traded back, but not bad.
Who we taking guys? Desmond king!?

They want to give rivers all they can
If we got Dorian Johnson or Asiata in round 4 then got Orlosky or Toth in round 5, I would be pretty pumped.

Wouldn't even mind taking him despite having already taken 4 defensive players lmao

Everyone hates it but guess what? Defense wins championships. The offensive firework shows are overrated. Look at Pitt and Atlanta, both teams tried to fight fire with fire and got hosed by the pats.
The pats are the league's Boogeyman and how do you knock them off? Not in a shootout with Brady, but rather, a suffocating defense. That's why Baltimore in it's prime as well as Denver has given the pats a run for their money.

I thought they got boxed into taking Humphrey in the 1st after trying to move up and down, and picked the best Bama player on their board. So be it. Bowser seemed a bit of a reach with the #2, but still not too crazy. Wormley was actually good value at where he was selected, as was Williams, but the latter has some major character red flags (guess Harbs was out of the draft room at the time). I was expecting to see JuJu or Godwin at WR and Elflein get nabbed by the Ravens, and Willis ahead of Bowser. Oh well. In Ozzie we trust.
I much rather would have had Jordan Willis, but Bowser actually has legitimate talent in comparison to KC😂

The front office is getting out game planned in the early rounds every year since the arrival of Harbaugh. Bowser just looks raw, and although we need pass rush, we do have several guys on the roster including suggs, zadarius, judon while we are passing over tackles and centers. why are we wasting a pick on a DE when you need o line? The ozzie draft selection and philosophy never makes any sense to me because you are devaluing the positions you need most to fill. No need for more defensive in this draft.
Your logic makes no sense. This is a historically bad o lineman class. This is the first time in history an o lineman didn't go in the top 15. Going against the strength of the draft is a fool's game.
I wish we would have taken Feeney or Elflein at second over a raw Bowser, but other than that, the class is a bunch of underwhelming project lineman. If we can build a shut down defense and be patient and land some vet o lineman after cuts, we will be just fine.

What was even the point of showing what it would have taken to get a first round receiver? This class was vastly overrated, built on hopes that they would all develop into great WR. Each has major question marks in relation to their game. Make no mistake Bout it, there wasn't any Amari Cooper's or Julio Jones in this draft.
If any had fallen then likely they would be BPA potentially, but none were worth sacrificing more than an additional mid round pick to get.
