  1. Made my day to watch us sweep them this year. I know some won't like this statement, but I respect the heck out Tomlin and most of the Steelers players--on most days--and them giving us respect is great for the rivalry. I really wish that 101 yard pick six would have been legit and the flag was never thrown.
  2. I am loving what Allen is doing, especially as a dual-threat back. I love Forsett too and think he is great for at lease one more year, but I want some of my fellow Ravens to answer this question. If Fournette is available at the top of the second, should we get him as the other part of the 1-2 punch? He is big fast and explosive and Lorenzo seemingly can't stay healthy. I know we have a lot of needs, but I am curious to know what people are thinking?
  3. I hope we keep Upshaw, regardless of his infractions, he is an adversitial defender, which may not mean a sack artist, but he does a lot of dirty work and on the field adjustments that help us. Despite the PIs Jimmy had a good game and I think this will help his confidence. I'm glad he was making plays out there because I think when fully healthy he is top 10 material. Just have to let him be physical! He isn't a crazy finesse cover guy, but if he can press and anger the receivers he tends to win the battles! Go team go
  4. Oh yeah, great job flexing us out of prime time, that Vikings and Giants game tore up the ratings and put fans on the edge of their seats%uD83D%uDE05
  5. After weeks of early mock drafts and reading through forums, I think the guy most people want and think we will get is certainly going to be available 5-10, which is Jalen Ramsey. Most scouts see him as a FS at the next level and many see him sliding to the back end of the top 10 and we will have a chance to grab him. Just think about this, Waynes was the top CB last year and went 11th, Landon Collins went in the second round. Clinton-Dix went in the 20s the year before so we certainly have a chance. I really want him or a pass rushed, we will see Ravens nation!
  6. Santa made his final trip to Baltimore yesterday! For a season full of disappointment and frustration, this win made it all feel alright! TheBank was deafening! I love my Ravens family out there.
  7. Both are great players. Glad to have them both. Williams is a run stuffing, hole clogging machine, but he hasn't gotten the ol flashy sacks to shine the spotlight on him, but we know how valuable he is in Baltimore.
  8. Dear Ozzie Clause, Please don't ever let Williams go. He is a bulldozer and I want his jersey for Christmas. Thank you sir
  9. Aiken is a heck of a player! that is for sure
  10. I am not one to dwell on what could have been, but man, Marcus Peters is as good as everyone thought he would be and I wish he was in black and purple because we all know we need some more play makers. The guy in his rookie campaign has 7 interceptions and 24 passed defended, pretty stellar numbers if you ask me. I'm praying Perriman tears it up next year.
  11. I'm 90% positive that Jimmy has been hugely effected by his foot injury. I watched his 2013 and 2014 seasons and guess what, the guy was a top 10 corner. He was quick, physical, and had a way of getting his hands on the ball. With injuries that side-line you for awhile. It is hard to come back and immediately re-gain form. A lack of a pass rush doesn't help either, or a lack of communication on coverage. Every fan wants to bash our players when they don't plays great, which I get, but I'm optimistic with a full off-season and hopefully a revamped D, our shut down corner will have a better chance of getting started on the right foot. I hope you have a speedy recovery Smith.
  12. in a season full of negativity, he has been a sure bright spot. he better be a part of our plans moving forward. a real nice #2 WR I think.
  13. Two quick points: (1) We have been losing the turn over battle horribly all year and it has cost us all of our games. We give away dumb turnovers where you just scratch your head and wonder why. Plus, we can't force any. No interceptions and no forced fumbled.....I wonder why (2) These dumb penalties are getting excessive, particularly Jernigan's. I like him as a player, but he has on multiple occasions blamed QBs way too late, he needs to be pulled aside and taught that it costs us games! just look at the freaking Oakland game! It's absolutely surprising that our offense is still putting up yards though
  14. Forsett you're the true MVP. I miss seeing you weave in and out of blockers and defenders
  15. Cool Joe is our QB! January Joe we miss You!
  16. It is painful to watch talented young players get groomed here then leave for bigger pay days. I get that it is a business, and that these players have their own interests, but the sports world as a whole has just become so obsessed over money that players would rather uproot their families and leave the team that drafted them for a few extra bucks, which I get can be a lot when team such as the Dolphins are willing to make a DT the highest paid player ever, but I just wish that players would be more home-team oriented. I'm not even singling out anyone on this team, just the NFL and sports in general. How awesome would it be if players thought, you know what if my Ravens for example are willing to give me 5 years and 25 million, I'll stay here to win championships and cement a legacy, instead of taking 5 years and $30 on a pedestrian team that can't even go .500. It's all frustration and obviously everyone can't get paid, but if we kept just one extra player every year instead of losing them to free agency. We would be stacked every season.
  17. This team is already in redemption mode. Once Ozzie can can some dead money taken care of and has a little room to maneuver I think he'll build another playoff squad. I still think some crazy voodoo witch doctor put a curse on the Ravens. Still trying to decipher if the witch doctor is a Patriots, Steelers, or Browns fan though. p.s. Ramsey for the win! Please, Playmakers is what we need
  18. We need a reliable LT, Monroe is above average WHEN he plays. I always feel bad for injury prone talented players, but we can't afford our back up LTs getting chucked into our QB. Sign KO! Please for the love of God, He is entertaining to watch and have you ever stood next to him in person? He is mammoth.
  19. This obsession over the top pick is nonsense. I just want Ozzie to not trade back because he covets a guy that he thinks is sliding. In all reality I don't expect that, but I just want a top 5-7 pick! Number one picks can easily be over hyped. Just look at the 2014 draft. Clowney went #1, while Mack (who Ray Ray said should have went first I remember) and Donald went after him and both turned out to be massive game changers, whether it's getting 5 sacks or intentionally breaking arms smh. The only pick I really really want is Bosa, but I feel he is a 4-3 DE, which I could be wrong because on tape the guy is as versatile as they come when lining up. But if we get HGIII, Ramsey, or even Nkemdiche, that would be great.
  20. I mean out of all the players we could have lost, Suggs was by far the most valuable! His leadership and IQ gets the team in the right mind set. And his ability to shut down the run and get after the QB and draw 2 blockers allows other pass rushers, particularly Doom or blitzing backers to have an easy job getting to the Qb. This then translates to the play of our secondary, even though they are pretty darn bad--playing wise, not really a talent issue--the difference between a QB having 2-3 seconds to throw and 4-6 seconds is huge. The best way to mask a bad secondary is to make the pass rush ferocious! Missing Suggs took a huge element away from our D. I think in the draft we take BPA in either the pass rush department or secondary. Sometimes doubling down on a position can be great too. Look at the Panthers drafting Star and Short back to back, that helped their D-line tremendously. Or the jags taking Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns. We know where our weakness is and we need to fix it.
  21. I guess us fans are being little tough on him, but I guess that is what happens when we are all used to having the best center fielder to ever play. I think he is a good player, but when I watch the deep ball get flung down field I feel as if he isn't ever back in coverage or he is so far away from the ball that he doesn't have a chance to make a play on it. At this point I feel it's time to get a new coordinator so that we can see where the real problem is or was.
  22. All I'm saying is that Jalen Ramsey at FS alongside Hill would be great! He's athletic, quick, strong, and has a knack for being around the ball. We need someone that is at least knows the ball is in the air during passing plays lol
  23. At this point after watching every game. It isn't just one person's fault when something bad happens. On offense, we obviously would have liked to have been healthy. I think Trestman deserves another shot because he wasn't terrible, in fact our offense for as lackluster as it is with injuries has still put up yards, but I hated watching him abandon the run in numerous games earlier in the season.I'm pray SSS comes back and Perriman is still who we thought he was and if a valuable vet comes available in FA lets get them because we have some nice rotational guys, just need a difference maker that will allow those guys to have less pressure on them. Aiken and Butler have looked formidable. On Defense, I think injuries have killed us, but Pees always seems to call the worst kind of plays. And it doesn't help that our lack of a pass rush has led to our corners getting torched or having their coverage break down, which is never helped by a competent FS either lol. I just want the good ol days of a solid 5 man rush and man on man coverage with both of our safeties roaming looking to help the corners or make a play on the ball....2016 hopefully
  24. My quick little 2016 wish list: 1.) That everyone comes back healthy, Flacco, Sizzle, Forsett, Perriman, Zuttah, SSS for an actual farewell tour 2.) We find an aggressive D coordinator that can develop talent. 3.) We address the holes in the draft, as I see it we need major help in the secondary and pass rush departments I'm praying for Bosa, HGIII, or Ramsey, who I think will be a legit FS! Because god we need one. 4.) Sign Tucker and KO, plus make him LT and send Monroe anywhere for a pick! 5.) We land some awesome vets that will contribute. Some of the recent ones have been, well not the greatest, cough Arrington cough Lewis...
  25. Soooo Ramsey or Hargreaves III if Bosa is gone? I think so
