  1. The draft is just too far away, I think we all want to see these players at the combine!

    1. Willbacker

      Willbacker

Don't forget the senior allstar games.

  2. This first round pick is huge! Traditionally, Tackles, pass rushers, and quarterbacks go this early, sometimes proven shutdown corners as well, but a safety, inside linebacker--unless it was a Luke kuechly pick--guards, or WIde receivers--unless they're an amari cooper or Watkins, don't go as that high of picks. Based on our needs and BPA, this is how I see our top 10 draft board. 1.) Joey Bosa- an elite talent who can play anywhere on the line and could be a OLB in a 3-4. 2.) laremy Tunsil- he is a complete tackle and would be an anchor on the line to pair with Yanda, Wagner and hopefully KO 3.) Stanley- another great tackle, but his struggle with bull rushers makes him less valuable than Tunsil. 4.) Mackensie Alexander- he is the top CB in this draft and still hasn't nearly reached his ceiling. Physical and blankets receivers, also makes great open field tackles and has a particular swagger we would like to give us a spark on D. 5.) Shaq Lawson- we need a pass rusher and not just a run stuffer who can get in the backfield on occasion, that is why Lawson is more valuable than Robinson or the others because he gets to the QB with finesse and quickness. 6.) Laquon Treadwell- by far the top WR in the class, we all say we need to catch up to the division that has AB, AJ green, and josh Gordon, well this will help because he is a big physical receiver who attacks the ball and makes plays, runs good routes and has tremendous hands. Pairing him with Perriman gives Joe a legit WR core. 7.) VH3- we simply need a corner across from Jimmy, despite a little rough patch down the stretch, Vernon still is a great corner, he has incredible ball skills to create turnovers that we need and has great technique in defending receivers, just sometimes struggles with those freaky big and athletic ones. 8.) Robert Nkemdiche- even though our defensive line in stout with young talent, this guy is special. A pure game wrecking machine who is ultra athletic and can get into the backfield at will. At 300 lbs, he moves like a linebackers and arrives with violent force, add that to the strengths of Williams, Jernigan, and Davis, and we have a top notch line for years. 9.) Emmanuel Ogbah- another physical pass rusher that reminds me a little of Suggs, a bigger guy with strength that plays the run and gets to the quarterback well, but needs just a little extra technique and speed to dominate. 10.) Jalen Ramsey- this is the toughest pick, but we could also take Robinson or Buckner here, but Ramsey has a certain skill set that if developed, could make our defense a whole lot scarier.he doesn't essentially have a specific position he will play in the pros, whether it is as a corner or safety, but he has the ability to be a jack of all trades. I don't foresee him as a lock down corner, but he could be a Tyrann or Buchanan like players who roams the field and simply makes plays since he is aggressive, a great tackler, rangy, and has a knack for being around the ball. His energy would also help our defense as well because we need it at times.
  3. Keep Aiken in Baltimore. He really came into his own down the stretch and the most impressive thing was the amount of catches he had. I rarely watched him drop passes. Second round tender him if a deal can't be reached, but I foresee we get it done before.
  4. Worst case Ontario, he would be a Tyrann Mathieu 2.0, but much stronger and physical. If for some reason he magically slipped into mid first round because other GMs realize taking a guy most believe won't play Corner is crazy, I'd be for trading back and getting him if we get an additional second round pick. Staying put at 6 and making the gamble is tough, but if we get extra early picks and have the chance to grab a jack of all trades, whom can make game changing plays, then let it rip!
  5. Based on BPA and our team needs, along with who can make immediate impact, this is how I see our board going for top 10 picks. 1.) Bosa 2.) Tunsil 3.) Stanley 4.) Alexander 5.) Lawson 6.) Treadwell 7.) VH3 8.) nkemdiche 9.) ogbah 10.) Buckner( not entirely sold on yet) or Ramsey, who can be a jack of all trades on defense, but how would Pees use him? His ceiling is super high, yet it is a gamble, which at #6 pick, we are looking for a safe pick.
  6. If we get a needy team that wants a player particularly QB like the niners or Eagles, I'd hope we get a solid 2nd or 3rd rounder. A lot of great talent will still be available in the second round I feel. Treadwell though, I don't think under any circumstance would fall out of top 10.
  7. I don't think it'll happen, but if Michael Thomas slips to the second and is BPA that we need, then we must take him. I see edge rusher and corner as ultimate early priority, then WR, but if a freak like Treadwell or Thomas is available in the first or second, then we should make the move. We need to start scoring Tds instead of fgs, either of these guys would help.
  8. I think the question of who falls to us in the second is an exciting mystery. Post combine we never know who will slide. I think we need to nail a game changer with our first whether it be Treadwell, Alexander, Bosa, or Lawson and follow up with taking a first rd talent in the second. I see Leonard Floyd, due to his size, sliding to the second and that would be a dream. His explosiveness and pure pass rush abilities are phenomenal. If he realistically added 10lbs, he could be a dominant edge rusher used in an Elvis dumervil like role in the future.
  9. I voted Alexander because I've watched Clemson all year and have seen how good he is. He's a physical corner with great blanketing abilities and the scary thing is that he is only scratching the surface of his potential. Pair him up with Jimmy and we will be looking pretty good. A second option at #6 is certainly Treadwell, simply because he is the clear cut best receiver and his play making ability would make our offense dynamic immediately. I'd be happy with either pick.
  10. If boldin came at a cheap cost, who wouldn't want a sure catcher for one more year?
  11. KO needs to be a Raven in 2016
  12. We must sign Tucker asap to alleviate the anxiety for the fans. I am sure we all still have nightmares of Cundiff shanking that 32 yard kick in NE....
  13. Franchise tag KO, everyone support this for the love of our team. At least a tag would allow us to see who we can draft and whether or not Monroe is the answer to our long-term LT problem, or if KO is better suited. We have a pretty mean line and I'd hate to take the teeth out of it!
  14. Burfict is a super talented player, but easily the dirtiest player in the NFL. Such a waste of talent. If he doesn't get at least a 1-2 game suspension then the NFL can no longer state that they are looking out for the safety of the players because his actions are by no means unintentional.
  15. I meant to say franchise tag him. Oops lol
  16. Does anyone realize how stable our offensive line was down the stretch? That is one of our biggest strengths, but to allow KO to walk would really damper that. Look at how bad even some of these playoff teams lines are. NE, Den, Arz, Sea, they all have major flaws in their lines. If we keep KO we have one less worry, I'd say get Tucker's deal done a sap and tender KO if needed. He would get tendered as a guard anyways since he spent a majority of his time there. Once we clear some space in our cap, sign him! Aiken also should receive 3rd round tender, unless we don't have intentions on a WR early, which in that case if we can afford it, let's do it.
  17. Maxx will be a chain mover that's for sure. I hope he and Gilmore become great red zone targets because we need them to get us in for 6!
  18. I love webby.i wish he never got hurt in 2012 and onward because for anyone that forgot, 2010 through 2012, webby was a lock down corner who made plays on the ball. He's still very good, but injuries have set him back and his ability to stick as tightly to WR has slipped. The positive thing is his football IQ is high and he has good instincts. I truly believe that with him at FS and Hill at SS, in addition to Jimmy returning to lock down corner status, we are one good draft away from a solid secondary. Just look at KC this year with their rookies. Peters is lock down and easily the runaway 2015 DPOY, hopefully we double down and get a pair of corners early. If Ramsey is gone take HG3, unless a freak like Bosa slides, and taking King in the second would be great because he is like Jimmy, ultra aggressive, yet not a burner, but still makes plays. We will see very soon
  19. Pitta you were a true raven and SB run hero, but enjoy your family and ability to walk, we will always call you family here. Williams and Gilmore are ready to take the torch
  20. If webby moves to FS, I am interested to know if Ramsey was there, would we take him? his coverage is good, but not lock down in man coverage, but playing zone and lurking the secondary he's a pure play maker. I think in this years draft we should double down of corners and pass rushers. I'd like to land any combination in the first three rounds of Ramsey, VH3, Desmond King, Alexander from Clemson, pair that with a defensive monster like Nkimdiche, Leonard Floyd, Calhoun, and we are looking pretty darn good for the future.
  21. Ted Monachino must be kept here! he has been so valuable to this team and if needed, promote the guy!
  22. I'll tell you what, our schedule is a heck of a lot more manageable for next season! No west coast games and we face the AFC and NFC East, I'll take it.
  23. I knew it and it is exactly what I said and thought! I love jimmy smith and he was phenomenal in 2013-14. You could tell the injury slowed him down and that due to the inability to train, he would be rusty. It was easy to see by the second half of the season that jimmy looked better and was more tight in his coverage. We know you are a top 5-10 corner jimmy and we hope Ozzie gets you a top notch partner in the draft to shut things down with. Hopefully HG3, King, or Alexander.
  24. A healthy SSS, Perriman, Aiken, and a solid vet or a young stud like treadwell or Boyd would be great, but I think that 6 would be a reach. Add in a healthy sizzle, with doom, z. Smith and adding a Floyd from Georgia, Calhoun, Ogbah, or Nykimdiche and we would have a solid pass rush. I also would love to draft Desmond king too for a playmaker and physical presence in the secondary.
  25. Franchise tag KO as a guard since that is where he spent most of his time this year, at least until after the draft so we can figure it out. He is too valuable to let go of. Also, get a deal done with tucker, then after Flaccos negotiations we can see who gets cut and who we resign.
