  1. I say that Perriman eclipses 1000 yards and scores 8 TDs. Judon will develop and add 8 sacks. Correa will win out the ILB role. Boyle fills the juice role, but gets used even more. Biggest break out comes from Young who notches 5 interceptions from the slot.
  2. I'm glad more people are coming on board. Injury history in college has come to mean nothing. Guys like Mosley who were habitually banged up in college come into the pros and have almost no durability issues and there are other who have ironman streaks in college like Stanley, but happen to have injuries occur. It's a gamble either way. Ross is more of a total package than most will give him credit for. Him and Perriman only have speed in common and I think Ross is far more elusive and quick with solid hands.
  3. I know most are still hanging tight that Barnett Foster or M. Williams will be there, but being pragmatic, I think there is a sliver of a chance that they are. The new realistic crop of available talent will likely be Ross, Lamp, Reddick, Humphrey, Conley, etc. As far as I'm concerned, I'd have my fingers crossed for Ross or Lamp.
  4. Anderson on the other hand however is going to be a very reliable SAM backer. He doesn't have the wild athleticism and explosiveness, but he plays physical and intelligently. He will be a jack of all trades. He is great in run support; he finds a way to always be around the ball; uses his hands well while bending the edge; wraps up well and doesn't get tricked by counters, screens, etc. Williams from a talent perspective isn't as reliable in run support and doesn't disengage blockers well when they get a hold of him. My other critique is everyone claims he has a nasty spin move and counter moves, which I've seen, bit not nearly as much as you would like. His initial strategy is to straight up beat the tackle around the edge with quickness. Once the tackle is able to mirror him and prevent that from happening, he often tries to shoot inside with a rip or spin move, but often the LTs and RTs get a hold of him and he is frozen. This happened a lot against Clemson.
  5. In regards to the Williams v Anderson comp, I think that Williams has more raw potential and has the tool to be a double digit sack artist, but he needs to stay out of trouble and keep his weight on. When he is sub 240, he just gets too light and isn't as much of a force. If he could keep his explosiveness and not over pursue on the speed rush he could be deadly.
  6. Realistically, I would switch JuJu for Walker because I don't think he will escape the second. Other than that, I like the mock a lot. It's hard to gauge second to mid round guys projectios though, Elflein could very well go early second and Witherspoon could as well. But that would just push some other borderline top 50 player to us in the third so I'm cool with it.
  7. I wanted to put him in my recent mock, but it seemed redundant with everyone adding him to theirs. I hope we get him in the third or Kevin King in the second.
  8. I feel like all of the backs I've watched are power backs lol
  9. Lamp would make our line incredibly good. Pass protection on the left side would be borderline impenetrable. Lamp isn't quite a mauler in the run game but he opens up enough holes with the rare ability to anchor against the bull rush and has quick enough feet to keep the speed rushers at Bay.
  10. I forgot Lorenzo was still on the team! Lmao I'd probably look for Gallman from Clemson then.
  11. My money is on pass rusher or receiver.
  12. I like Kiper's better, but realistically, I think Cam and Takk are both far from complete prospects, or at least ones we should target at 16. Takk is a high motor kinda player but that is about it. He is a quicker Upshaw who doesn't set the edge as well. Watch once the tackle engages, he has zero counter moves. He tries to bull rush and even that isn't good enough to consistently beat NFL caliber RTs or LTs. He is a project player. I love Cam as a mauler guard in the run game, but he is slow and clunky in pass pro. I prefer Forrest Lamp, he's a beast. Yanda like player there.
  13. Barnett's chance of landing here can go either way. I think if two QBs go and two surprise picks happen while the Saints pass on him then he should 90% be there. I'm hoping Watson and Trubisky go then some combo like Reddick and Lamp go ahead of us.
  14. I mean I just pray we use the pick to take a play maker or anchor on the offensive line. Last thing we need is another defensive lineman while we wait for Henry, Davis and Pierce to develop.
  15. I prefer the later. I mean, I do like the idea that we are now in range to take two really good prospects in a deep defensive draft, perhaps one is Sidney Jones or another falling star, but it's just tough to to say until after the year is over. I just have a hunch that we would be better off reaping the benefits of Jernigan working his tail off in a contract year then getting a third or fourth round comp a year later. I guess I'll hold my tongue until we see.
  16. What a dumb move! What a horrendous trade. A player that is very likely to ball out in a contract year was traded for a swapped pick. Trying to make patriot like deals yet we aren't really getting squat.
  17. I love the underrated value of Lamp. Great pick up. However, I don't get how people think Elflein is still there in the middle of the third. There are just too many teams with needs at center that I cannot see the best, if not, the second best center in the draft still sitting there that late.
  18. I'd say I'm one of the Captain's on his hype train, but even if you don't want him at 16, I don't get the hate. I get that Flacco is imperfect and has bad accuracy at times, but I think Ross is still a threat and play maker waiting to happen. He probably would be best utilized in a place like NO, GB, or NE. I just have a hunch that he will either be our pick or that he will tear it up next year.
  19. Witherspoon is well known on these boards, but has been lost in the national discussion. Coverage wise, he might have the highest ceiling in this class. His anticipation and wingspan make his coverage abilities crazy attractive
  20. Trade back seems inevitably if the draft goes as expected. Offensive line will be addressed I think. Likely with two interior guys while we kick out Lewis to RT. Ideally we make a trade back to 19-22 and get at least another 3rd or fourth. If Cam, Ramcyzk or Lamp was there, I'd be on board. If not I'd actually like a rusher like Tim Williamd then taking Elflein or Feeney in the second if there then taking Moton or asiata in the third.
  21. I see massive potential with Tak and I wouldn't really be mad at all because he could develop really well. I'd take him over Charlton and probably Harris because he is better in run support, plus he doesn't have character concerns like Tim Williams. Tough call though. However, I would love Moreau or Sid Jones in the third and stash him away so we have a crazy secondary.
  22. Who we think we will draft or who we want? Either way, make it.
  23. Flacco just needs a good line and a defense that won't give up the most go ahead TDs in the league two years in a row. I'm sure he wouldn't like to throw 40-50 times per game but our line and run game has been so bad that we cannot generate any push up the middle. I am hoping that Stanley and Lewis make great strides and we add another monster on the line like Cam Robinson, Dion Dawkins, Dan Feeney, Pat Elflein, or Taylor Moton, so that we can go out there to mail people on every down. If Flacco gets time and we can run the ball I think we will be in good position next year.
  24. I do agree with this, but if not for Cundiff and Evans, we likely win it all in 11' guided by Flacco. In 14' though, that playoff game was in the bag and Flacco chucked up an unneeded bomb when we were running it down their throats and they couldn't stop us. Had we let KO and Yanda continue to leave the way we would have ended that game.
  25. Not bad at all. Overall though, it is solid, but McKinley is way too raw to take at 16 imo. High ceiling, moderately low floor. He has athleticism, the frame and motor to be good, but he has literally no arsenal of pass rushing moves. I'd much rather take Williams, Watt or Harris. Cam could slide into the 20's but that is about it. Outside of Ramcyzk and Lamp, Cam is arguably the top OL prospect in a thin class. There are too many O line needy teams that will pick before our second such as Indy, Seattle, Denver, Carolina, Jax, etc.
