  1. I am glad we are at 99 too. That list of comps went on for an eternity. Lots of interest in guys could be in that ball park too, well at least at our third and the comp pick. Really hoping for Kevin King, Tyler Orlosky, Pat Eiflein, Rasul Douglas, Curtis Samuel, Perine, Dorian Johnson, Kamara, Foreman, Zay Jones, heck maybe even Smoot.
  2. Ya trading back for an additional second would be great, but the two players that I would never leave sitting there for us to pick are Barnett and Jamal Adams if by some fluke either were there
  3. Oh I'd agree with taking Sidney or Wilson, but if OJ is realistically ring considered at 16 then I am assuming those two would be gone, well at least Jones anyway. After jones and Lattimore though I think there is a slightly significant drop in overall talent and plug and play ability.
  4. Realistically, think of it this way. The top 3 needs that will immediately improve this team are Edge, CB, and OL. TE is a position that traditionally takes a few years to settle into. So outside of just talent let's factor in other players that could be very good that could also have immediate impact, whether they're selected at 16 or we trade back instead of taking Howard. 1.) Dan Feeney 2.) Cam Robinson 3.) Charles Harris--trade back. 4.) Tim Williams 5.) Quincy Wilson
  5. I've also come to like cook. Not an immediate need, but his versatility and home run ability gives up a more elusive RR 2.0. He runs crisp routes and can stretch a defense pretty easily. His 0-60 is impressive too. If we take cook we need Eiflein in the second.
  6. I think King would be great too. Baker's only concern is whether he will be able to wrap guys up like he did in college. Pros will be much stronger and elusive, but I don't think it will change. Text book wrapping up at the waist/leg area will almost always topple even the biggest of players over.
  7. Literally people would lose their minds but if Wagner stays--even if he leaves too--we could take Cam Robinson in the first to play guard then Pat Eiflein in the second to play center and I'd guarantee within a year our line would be just as good if not better than the cowboy's line.
  8. I would not take Williams or Melinfonwu in the second lol there will be a lot better talent there at pick 48. Trust me. I would only take Adams, Peppers, Hooker or Baker or Desmond King in the first two rounds.
  9. Flacco's record comes to no surprise as the horrendous play calling had receivers consistently running "safe" routes well short of the first down marker. Flacco also had poor accuracy downfield all year too
  10. Linta is Juice's agent? We will see ya later little buddy. He will come to the table with the case that his client should have won the Christmas game but was failed by the team, therefore $5 million is where the annual salary will start😆😂😄
  11. Wagner and Williams both walk?
  12. Just seen the best two round mock so far, Barnett in the first with us trading up with I think Philly to take Budda Baker. Talk about instant infusion of talent. Baker's tape might be the most entertaining to watch. He might not be the honey badger but he certainly looks like the Tasmanian Devil😈
  13. Edge rusher rankings: 1. Garrett 2. Barnett 3. Williams--talent perspective 4. Charlton 5. Harris 6. Watt 7. McKinley 8. Walker 9. Anderson 10. Smoot
  14. Barnett is literally so good that I would easily give up a third to leapfrog the colts because they will likely take him if he makes it there. But if he makes it to 16, no doubt he is our pick. If we passed on him I literally wouldn't watch the rest of the draft unless we took Jamal Adams, Malik Hooker, Sidney Jones or Mike Williams by some miracle instead.
  15. I hate to rain on the parade, but Williams will not escape the top 10, likely gone by Tennessee at 5. Sidney jones is a hopeful and Harris might get overdrafted at 16, but the talent is def there. Budda baker is also going I blow up the combine. He likely gets picked at the end of the 1st or top of the second. Very close to a Weddle / Honey Badger like talent.
  16. I want to do another board, but combine will shatter it quickly lol
  17. Ya they throw him in there(1st) just for variety in their picks but almost any mock you see will have Jones, Lattimore, Hump, Tabor, Wilson and in some cases Lewis and White all ahead of him. This is why I think he could be a great Rd 2 pick.
  18. Oh obviously Barnett is the best amongst them, but it is very probable that Barnett, Jones, Lattimore and many other CBS and edge guys are gone. I was wondering which player people thought had more value between cook and Davis
  19. CBS has us taking Cook in most recent one with Sidney Jones, Davis and Barnett all there. Objections? Per se Barnett and Jones are gone, would you take Cook or Davis?
  20. Barwin is laughable. Not worth that cap hit. Especially for a draft pick. id love Corey Davis if he were there, but I wouldn't move up to get him though. As far as getting passionate players that will likely have a chip on their shoulders, look no further than the 2nd round. A lot of 1st round graded players will slip to the second and will be ready to prove themselves as premier talents. Some that come to mind are Desmond King whom everyone has foolishly written off, Peppers who everyone knocks for versatility, Tim Williams of his character causes a slippage. I don't doubt his commitment as getting better as a football player for a second. Tre White in any class would be a highly talked about CB, he could slip because of size/ nickel potential.
  21. Many believe he could be a Weddle like talent and could slip to the second. if peppers were to slide past the first 7 or 8 teams at the top of the second if pounce on getting him. He will be a chess piece worth having.
  22. WR class is decent this year but Williams and Davis are the jewels. That's why I won't be remotely upset if he fell to 16 and we took him. heck I'd even entertain a trade back offer if we could get an extra second because a team wanted him bad enough.
  23. Top corners to target: 1.) Sidney Jones is likely the best all around corner once you factor in longevity and health concerns, but I think Lattimore still goes first and Jones might still be there. 2.) Quincy Wilson is an enigma. His tape is impressive and his frame is ideal for our kind of corner to compliment Jimmy, but the combine will show how fluid his hips are and whether he will have enough speed/ agility at the next level. 3.) Marlon Humphrey has so much potential and if he improves his technique then he could be a beast. Super aggressive and surpringly fast. He is very competitive and that will fit the Raven bravado. Round 2 targets; Tre White Gareon Conley Jourdan Lewis Im not touching that diva Tabor though. He has a variety of issues, including being far too grabby. While he might pull it together, we simply need someone that is ready to work hard and get the job done early.
  24. I don't know if I believe that Humphrey is unlikely to be available at 16. He has all of the tools and will likely grade out well at the combine, but his coverage skills at Bama were inconsistent. Analysts love him and I think he is a solid comparison to Jimmy Smith, but his coverage skills aren't as refined as Jimmy's coming out. I think he is very likely there at 16.
  25. Lol worst possible logic. But it wouldn't surprise me. After round 1 we likely go from probable pro bowl locks to a handful of very good and solid starters, then you have project corners in the third that are not likely to be plug in and play starting corners which we need. Only ILB worth the 16th pick is Foster and he will likely be a top 10 pick because he is a legit top 5 player. Edge rushers and their skill sets are more likely to be more valuable for us in the 2nd as well because after Barnett and Thomas, there are a lot of question marks for the rest of the top guys like Charlton, Williams, Walker, McKinley, and Anderson.
