  1. I am in that club. If we pick Tak I will be pissed. Too raw with average burst and no arsenal of pass rush moves. I'd easily take Watt, Harris or Williams over him.
  2. After Barnett there are just a lot of question marks on a lot of the edge guys. Harris is a pin your ears back and rush kinda guy, which he is very good at, but he also looked decent in space dropping back at the combine. His edge setting abilities though.... Tak is so raw, but has a great motor and is solid against the run, however, at 16, you want a polished player. My point is Watt has just as many question marks, but you can actually see the potential there because he has flashed the traits you want to see. He sheds blockers very well and uses his long frame to get in the backfield often. His combine was a show and if he continues to get stronger and gets up to 260-265, he could be a beast.
  3. I like Watt a lot and his ceiling is immense, but as you said, it depends on who is there.if it's Jones, Barnett, Foster, or maybe Davis, I couldn't take Watt. Ideally I'd love a slight trade back for a third then take him knowing we have 4 more picks inside the top 100
  4. I like the lamp n yanda comparison. They are both rugged and dominate blockers
  5. We have been in cap hell for years for overpaying players and dead money from guys that could barely make the team. As much as I like Wagner we cannot pay a RT that is good in pass pro but mediocre at run blocking as the best at his position. We can very likely get a replacement at a third or fourth the cost. ozzie is trying to clean up past messes and not make the same mistake twice. We might have one more year or getting through this stage but I think if we nail this draft and grab some quality FAs we could be back in 18' if not 17'.
  6. To each their own, but the nagging injuries for Lattimore are tough to overlook as far as picking the first corner off the board. He easily has the highest ceiling in the class but his chronic injury history just makes you think of Jimmy Smith, obviously different scenarios, but both are extremely talented and when you need that talent on the field the most there will constantly be that chance they will be banged up or out. Not to sound cheesy but on NFL Network they were all agreeing that Jones comes in with the most complete tool belt in the class. He checks all of the boxes and will hit the field asap. He is a Marcus Peters like talent. He covers extremely well, has high IQ in anticipating routes/ formations, probably best in class ball skills, tackles well, he can also force turnovers if players get sloppy with the ball and he doesn't have a huge injury problem. His only concern was weight and he weighed 186 at 6'. Not that bad especially with another 4-5 lbs added on over a year while maintaining sub 4.5 speed. He is just too safe of a pick.
  7. Cleveland- Myles Garrett, DE SF- Mitch Trubisky, QB Chicago- Jonathan Allen, DT Jax- Jamal Adams, S Tennessee- Mike Williams, WR NYJ- Deshaun Watson, QB LA- Corey Davis, WR Car- Soloman Thomas, DE Cincinnati- Marshon Lattimore, CB Buffalo- Malik Hooker, S NO- Sidney Jones, CB Cleveland- Fournette, RB Arizona- OJ Howard, TE Philly- Dalvin Cook, RB Indy- Forest Lamp, G **Baltimore**- Derek Barnett, OLB- just call it a gut feeling. His lackluster combine due to sickness will put him on back burner with so many other top guys tearing it up at the combine. Washington- John Ross, WR Tennessee- Marlon Humphrey, CB Tampa- Caleb Brantley, DT Denver- Ryan Ramcyzk, OT Detroit- Charles Harris, DE Miami- Haason Reddick, ILB/ OLB NYG- Reuben Foster, LB Oakland- Gareon Conley, CB Houston- Cam Robinson, G/ T Seattle- Garrett Bolles, T KC- Adoree Jackson Dallas- Tak McKinley, DE GB- Quincy Wilson, CB Pitt- Evan Engram, TE Atlanta- Teez Tabor, CB New England- Jabrill Peppers, S RD2: Cleveland- Carl Lawson, DE SF- Dan Feeney, G Jax- Malik McDowell, DT/DE Chicago- Deshon Kizer, QB LA Rams- David Njoku, TE LA Chargers- Budda Baker, S NYJ- Tre White, CB Car- Christian McCaffrey, RB Cincinnati- Zach Cunningham, LB NO- Raekwon McMillan, LB Philly- Kevin king, CB Buffalo- JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR Arizona- Cordrea Tankersley, CB Minnesota- Dion Dawkins, G/T Indy- Tim Williams, OLB RD 2, Pat Elflein, C- We land an anchor at center who can really make our line click. RD 3- Rasul Douglas, CB/S- he didn't have the greatest combine so I am bring realistic here. A lot of corners will be gone after putting on a show, such as King, Lewis, white, Elder, Etc. Douglas is ultra aggressive and that is just what we need, even if that eventually lands him at safety. RD 3 Comp- Taylor Moton- I think Wagner leaves and Lewis kicks out. Moton looked solid and if a bull dozer in the run game. If we want a balanced power based scheme, adding Elflein and Moton will open up serious holes in the run game. RD 4- Ejuan Price- a Dumervil/ Harrison like rusher that can generate pressure with frame that allows him to get great leverage. RD 5- Samaje Perine- he could be gone no doubt, but to complete our regained identity, we needed a power back to get the engine turning.
  8. Lmao I did this so late I completely forgot him. I was going to put him at 10 to Buffalo, but then I thought with McDermott that he might pride himself on having a flashy MLB to command the front 7 like he did with Kuechly. But a rookie coach might not gamble with a bad apple in the locker room so insert Malik Hooker to help out that secondary lol
  9. Risers: Forest Lamp, Haason Reddick, Adoree Jackson, Jabrill Peppers, Gareon Conley, Christian McCaffrey, Fabian Moreau, Charles Harris, Kevin King, Raekwon McMillan, Garrett Bolles, John Ross, obi wan and TJ Watt. Fallers: Reuben Foster, Malik Hooker--i just see him slipping outside top 10. Teez Tabor, Jourdan Lewis, Isiah ford, Desmond King--avoided the 40, Taco Charlton, Rasul Douglas.
  10. As much as I like Soloman Thomas, don't confuse combine numbers with actual production. Allen is arguably the best overall prospect even with Garrett in this class. He dominates at what he does. Thomas is great and had a great combine so I think he goes top 10. Allen will not make it past the Titans.
  11. King went from third rounder to easy SE ond round pick with the combine
  12. I think Sidney Jones has claimed top CB spot. Lattimore is crazy gifted but with the broad skill set that Jones has and health on his side, I wouldn't be able to place super high ceiling Lattimore over Jones because he is just too risky when you have a polished CB with a very high floor
  13. Post draft, I think we snag a surprise in the first: Barnett or foster will be there In the second, there are +50 guys that are first round guys, Im hoping for one of the following: Pat Elflein, Ryan Anderson, taco Charlton
  14. I hate to say it but Wagner, Williams and juice are as good as gone. Ravens choke again
  15. In 14' Ozzie likes Mack and inquired about a trade up. The rumor is it was for our second and third round pick, whether that is true or not Is another story, but Ozzie did want Mack at the right price.
  16. Taco had a very poor 40. But we all knew Barnett would have a decent, but by no means great combine. Exactly what we needed because I think he will likely be there. So far I think Soloman Thomas and Forest Lamp will shoot up the board to the top 15. Ross might do the same if Philly gets WR hungry again too. As far as Reddick goes, there is about a 10% chance he makes it to 48. He blew up the combine and teams are walking away thinking he can do it all. I would be surprised if he passed Pitt and NE to be honest.
  17. Oh ya, Forest Lamp has also solidified himself as best OL in the draft and it's not even that close beside maybe Elflein at C.
  18. Ya I think it will be 4.25-7. Ross looks like he got tripped up at the end there.
  19. I swear I said Ross would do it!!! He even looks to have hurt his foot at the end so he slowed a tad right at the end
  20. Having foster and Mosley would be insane. We would have best ILB duo hands down
  21. Jonathan Allen if be slipped to 5
  22. It would be wonderful to have a single piece of good news that we resigned at least one of our players. If Wagner and Williams both walk, we are in trouble folks, no doubt about it.
  23. Only offensive players worth taking Inside the first two rounds are Feeney, Eiflein, Williams and Davis. I don't think Fournette is there and for where we are drafting the other talent will not be higher ranked at 16 or 48 imo
  24. The Ravens need Marshall. If we o kg sign one FA please let it be him. He would make the draft so much easier on us and we would be an OL away from being a balanced offense.
  25. Well put. Strategically broken down. We need to trim the fat and move on with younger guys and hope we knock the draft out if the park. Doom is likely gone, same goes for Wright, Arrington, Lewis and probably Pitta and Watson as well.
