Tennessee Titans running back Shonn Greene was arrested on Friday night on a handful of charges, the most serious a resisting stop charge stemming from him leaving the scene of an incident in Franklin, Tenn.

Greene was charged with a handicap parking violation, driving on a revoked/suspended license, reckless driving and resisting stop/halt/frisk.

The incident began when Greene parked in a handicap parking space on the square in Franklin, located roughly 20 miles south of Nashville. When a parking enforcement officer approached Greene, police say he got in his car and maneuvered to get around the parking enforcement officer's vehicle.

According to police, Greene nearly struck the officer's vehicle, and sped off from the area. Greene was later approached when he got caught up in traffic, but sped off again, police say.
