  1. But Beachum's not their long term solution to either tackle position. Couldn't Jax still take Tunsil and move Joeckel to RT?
  2. I've heard that from others, too. Why would SD take Jack when they have Te'o and DP52?
  3. Didn't see the Michigan/Florida game, but I did see the FSU/Houston game. Ramsey wasn't awful. He made his share of plays, but he did make some mistakes. Critical one at the end of the game as a result of miscommunication between him and Brutus as to who was going to blitz and who was going to cover the receiver, at least from what I recall. On a side note, and I'm not sure if I or someone else has brought this up before, but Derwin James is an absolute stud.
  4. I don't know if Alexander will be there in the 2nd
  5. Why do you like Henry so much?
  6. I was kinda thinking the same thing. I just don't know if he makes it to the 4th.
  7. What round do you think he goes?
  8. Yup. Totally agree. Cravens is the better athlete. I've just been very impressed by what I've seen from Cash. And yeah, I don't like the hybrid S/LB players either. Unless they're super athletes, which neither are, I don't think those types of players tend to do well at the next level. At least, I can't think of any examples off the top of my head. How did Shaq Thompson do last year?
  9. CB?

I would love that scenario. Yeah, I've seen some mocks where they dropped him because of concern for the knee. What really worries me about him not lasting to the early 2nd would be that corners tend to get overdrafted (not saying that word applies to him because he's a stud) because of the high demand and low supply of quality corners. I could see a team in the back end of the 1st who doesn't really have many needs selecting him because of the terrific value.
  10. CB?

True. I just think there could be a point where he's the bpa, and I would absolutely pounce on it. But yeah, really good point.
  11. As far as S/LB hybrids go, I like Cash more than Cravens, too.
  12. That's true. He probably wouldn't cut it as a free safety unless he improves in pass coverage, but the guy stands out on film, without a doubt. I suppose it's easy for someone from Duke to do that, but I like Cash a lot. Not as a 1st or even 2nd round pick, but in the early 3rd, I think he's a take.
  13. Upshaw's biggest issue coming out of college was finding a fit. That's why he slipped to the 2nd round. I too echo everyone else's sentiments. Let him walk after the season.
  14. Sorry if already brought up, but has anyone mentioned Jeremy Cash? Honestly, he was the best safety in the ACC. Ramsey's really good, but Cash, in my opinion, was the most impactful db in the ACC. Guy is an absolute nuisance.
  15. He's a physical safety who can do everything. Injuries are a concern with Bush, though. I'm not totally sure if his body can hold up with him trying to knock everyone out all the time. He had a sports hernia injury that messed him up his sophomore year, but he's been otherwise terrific despite playing in an awful scheme. I think he's a cerebral player who improved and seems to work very hard. Can also slide over to corner if need be. He'll test well at the combine, so I'm not sure where he'll go, but I suspect anywhere from rounds 3-5.
  16. CB?

If not Hargreaves, Fuller would be my guy if we trade back into the first or in the early 2nd if another position is selected earlier. I pay attention to VT, and Fuller is a stud. Like Hargreaves, he can cover in the slot or on the outside. VT dbs tend to do well at the next level, too.
  17. What I love about these threads is how well thought out the mocks are! Many intriguing options...
  18. Thank you for bringing up Deon Bush!!! Really underrated prospect!
  19. Sorry. Couldn't help it haha
  20. Density = mass/volume. Weight = mass * gravitational acceleration. So, assuming you're still on Earth, the more mass something has, the greater the weight. The more muscle mass one has, the heavier they will be, being that muscle is denser than fat. But this all depends on the muscle/fat ratio as well.
  21. CB?

I think it depends more along the lines of which team takes him. He has pro-bowl talent. Just very raw.
  22. He's definitely a draftable prospect, but he needs work. Got great size and should run well, but is a little stiff and can get sloppy with his technique (has more to do with Miami's former inept coaching staff). He's a boundary corner all the way, though. He would be someone we could line opposite Jimmy and put Webb against guys in the slot.
  23. What is it that you don't like about him as a safety? I remember watching the game against Miami 2 years ago, and he single-handedly won the game for FSU. I wouldn't take him as a corner, especially that high, but I think he's a really good safety prospect. What are your reservations about him?
  24. Good point. If he slips to us, I hope Ozzie doesn't hesitate at all.
  25. CB?

Artie Burns out of Miami just declared for the draft. Boundary corner who's a little stiff, but for anyone paying attention to the Miami program (I've brought this up many times before), he pretty much received zero coaching, so he's very raw. Is a track guy, so I expect him to run well at the combine. Excellent size for a corner at 6'0'' 195 lbs. Can also play safety if need be. Can get sloppy with his technique, but again, I blame the coaching staff at Miami. I would think rounds 2-3 would be the right range for him. Round 2 if he runs well at the combine. As far as corners who can cover guys in the slot, Corn Elder, another Miami corner may be an option. He hasn't declared yet, but if he does, I think he will be fantastic in the league. Fast and very fluid. Can return punts and kicks, too.
