  1. Same.. I don't know lol
  2. Now we can all understand this move. Not mad anymore at the front office. Disappointed in Will Hill though...
  3. Didn't he have a bigger contract as well?
  4. Obviously. We're just finding this news out.
  5. You didn't know until I posted it. Obviously he has no trade value if he's about to get suspended, but aside from that he most definitely has trade value.
  6. I'd shoot myself if that happens.
  7. Just heard that Will Hill is facing possible discipline from the NFL. Jeff Zrebiec ‏@jeffzrebiecsun 5m5 minutes ago More to Will Hill cut: He's facing potential discipline from the league.
  8. So who starts at SS?
  9. I would like those two as backups, but we still have Kendrick Lewbust.
  10. Yeah they obviously should've explored trading him. We don't know the exact situation, but based off of Hill's play, contract, age, etc. he definitely had some type of trade value.
  11. Yep... Some people don't get it. Teams will trade for all kinds of players.
  12. Lol. He had trade value. Period.
  13. Blade of grass > Lewis
  14. I'm sorry, but you won't find a team with safety needs or really any team that wouldn't give something for Will Hill.
  15. All I want this off-season is to one day see the official words: Ravens have released S Kendrick Lewis.
  16. Trades happen for all types of players in the NFL. Will Hill most definitely had some trade value. No question. For example, if I was any other GM I would easily give a 7th round pick for him, and he's worth more than just that.
  17. Yeah Webb did come in for Hill, but whoever put Kendrick Lewis over any other safety on the team needs to rethink their decision. I'd rather have Hill and Webb than Lewis at any spot on the field.
  18. I wish they would give Brooks a shot at SS. He's such a great fit there. He won't have as much coverage responsibilities and won't have to be as much of a quarterback of the defense as if he was at FS. He's a great tackler and good blitzer at the very least, and he has great athleticism to go along with those traits. If he could just stay healthy and get a chance there I think he would be a good player and show what he's capable of.
  19. Even if Hill is now gone, Lewis still needs to go. I don't understand how that guy has started so many years, I just don't get it. Lewis is so bad I don't even want him as a backup. He's way to slow to play safety, not even a good tackler, and is average at best in coverage. I would 100% rather have Anthony Levine come in over Lewis as a backup. Ugh... This move to cut Hill has me furious. Why didn't we at least trade him? I know for a fact that teams would've gave some draft picks at the minimum for him. Wow...
  20. Exactly... Kendrick Lewis is a waste of space. If he makes our 53 man roster I will be so pissed off!
  21. Wow... Ok... Now I'm honestly mad at our front office.
  22. I like this move. I wish the contract was a little cheaper, but we needed a WR. Our team is going to be stacked after the draft.
  23. I like how they're both hard hitters and good tacklers too. It should hopefully cause some fear for other offenses.
  24. I can tell you right now that Terrence Brooks will not be cut. He would get traded before he got cut if he were to leave. Sorry that some of you strongly dislike the guy (which I don't understand), but he's still young/developing and is a solid piece of our special teams. Brooks will be an Anthony Levine type of player at the bare minimum and we can hope he reaches his potential one day... well some of us can.
  25. You were waiting for bait? lol this is sad. This is my last response to you because I'm honestly just wasting my time with this. You call me uneducated and say you were waiting for me to post some bait, etc. Like... really? I just wanted to let the forum know of my opinion on this move and relieve some of my disappointment on the signing even though I'm aware of the pros that come out of it. So... you say Elam started over Huff his rookie year just because Huff was bad. Then why couldn't someone start over Lewis this year when he was just as bad? Being a high pick gives players a better chance to start, it really does. The teams draft guys high because they see lots of potential in those players and see them as starters even if they might be worse than guys drafted later. Elam is young and still has potential, just as Brooks does. You must really hate Brooks or have something against him because you say that you've seen him show no flashes in his very short amount of playing time. Nobody in the whole Ravens organization would agree with you on that one. You need to come down to earth a little man and stop acting like you're such an educated Ravens fan and know everything. I'm a die-hard Ravens fan and sports fan in general. I probably know just as much as you do about football so don't call me uneducated and act like you were waiting for me to post some "bait".
