I shouldn't of said all I guess, but why don't you like Brooks and Mosely? I try to stay positive on our players.

Why are you so negative about Brooks and all our players? Players make mistakes no matter who it is or what team it is, period.

I wouldn't say more lows than highs, but still, does that matter right now? He's a young safety who hasn't got much playing time due to inexperience (it's hard to be a good young safety) and some injuries. By the way everyone gets beat. Think of Will Hill (our best DB) he got beat a couple of times against the chargers. Plus just about every completion to a receiver means someone is getting "beat" you could say. Also, Brooks was in position on both the deep play against the Bengals and the Saints he just didn't make the play. This is because he needs time to learn and correct his mistakes, plus nobody is perfect. He has also made more good plays than just the hit on Walker.

Brooks needs to start vs the Jags. He was a 3rd round pick and has shown some flashes of why he was. I believe if he can stay healthy that he'll do better than Lewis.

That's ridiculous to say he gets beat every time he's in. He's a young safety with little experience so he will make a couple mistakes, but in his small amount of playing time he's made several good plays, not just one.

Why would you say that? Kendrick is back (sadly) and we have a bye week coming up so we may as well rest him so his hand gets better and so he doesn't have to play with a heavy wrap on his hand. He needs to be our starter no question after the bye week though if Kendrick plays bad again and if he is healthy.

@Prino61 Let's just hope gets healthy, but when he does, he should start.

@Raven_Don He's made one decent pass breakup and like one nice tackle. Besides that he's done nothing but miss tackles and get burnt because he's slow. Somebody else should at least get a chance to be our new FS, but I'm not the coach so we'll see.

I'm glad Kendrick Lewis isn't hurt, but he is terrible. We need to start somebody else.

I agree that we should give Brooks a good amount of playing time too, or even start him. The only thing you guys can't forget is that he is still trying to get back to 100% from his injury, which he isn't yet. Also, you can't automatically say he is terrible for making mistakes, he is a very young player and everyone makes mistakes (especially DB's)

You never know until you see it. He would at least add much needed speed and tackling to the secondary. Plus I think since we're 1-4 with several injuries that we should play guys like Terrence Brooks, Arthur Brown, Tray Walker, etc.

Just start Brooks over Lewis already. We're 1-4...

I agree with everything you said. He should definitely be put in on some blitzes or maybe even play some nickel corner.

How can you know if Brooks is mentally ready or not when he's barely played. Yeah everyone makes mistakes and has mental lapses, but starting him gives us a chance to possibly improve the secondary (especially on deep balls). Also, it's not just Kendrick Lewis, our corners and honestly whole defense is playing bad which could be because of Dean Pees. We'll just have to see what happens going forward. Hopefully we can just get some wins soon.

You can't ever blame the game all on one person. We may as well just play Brooks if he's ready health wise and see if he can develop into a starter or at least do better than Kendrick Lewis.

He got beat by a little bit on one play. Plus it was a nice route and catch by AJ Green. Give the man some time to develop and actually play some games.

He was a third round pick a year ago and has shown some promise. Yeah, he's made good plays and bad plays, everyone does. I'm just saying we should start him a couple games and just see how he does because he's never had a chance to play even close to a full game in his career. Plus I don't think he can do much worse the Kendrick is doing right now.

Exactly, we need a rangy guy back there that hopefully will help with all the deep passes that are being thrown on us.

Just start Terrence Brooks already...
