I say 4:48
So how long u think for them to go 99 yards?
And Diggs
We should drafted mathiew
What's up w R Mostert... killer return guy w Olympic speed... haven't heard him mentioned at all...
God I read all the propaganda articles all week and think yeah we have heart and then instantly realize we don't...
Yeah we're going to lose screw it.
I'm trying to be more positive this week yall. Looking at the standings were not that far back.
I wouldn't have paid for a vpn and gamepass to watch all these games.
So basically... all that stuff we do... don't do it and we'll win!
If we win tonight, that would make us 2-5. Just one game away from a playoff spot. No were not catching the Bengals and Probably not the Steelers. But we sure as hell can finish a season off better than the Raiders, Bills, Dolphins, and Chiefs.
What did you see last week against SF that makes you think we can beat their div leader this week besides blind optimism? Sorry to tell you guys but being so optimistic about all these below average players we keep bringing in is why we have a bad team now. How many hype stories did we see about Brooks, Elam, Hill, Davis, Webb, Wright, Babin, Upshaw... we keep trying to convince ourselves these guys were good enough to take the place of legends and they're not even good enough for us to beat the Browns at home.
Yeah because getting a decent draft pick for a guy retiring makes way too much sense. Pride comes before the fall.
What!? Perriman's hurt!?
Does that mean 8M a year or are bonuses included? Does that make him the highest paid guard in the league?
yeah both of them were pretty ugly I was just referring to the one bc it was probably the worst I've seen all year from any qb next to Brian hoyer. And yes joe has locked in to his primary receiver his entire career because his entire career his receiving corps has been pretty lackluster. We've never really had more than 1 receiver that was actually a playmaker. the closest thing he's actually had to multiple targets was Torrey and anquan- and go figure that was the year we won the Super Bowl and he lit it up. Then we got rid of anquan and he regressed bc he had to rely on force feeding Torrey ( once again where primarily most of his interceptions came) ..it's pretty obvious to me. I guess you can call it an excuse but joes never been the guy that makes the players around him better and carries a team. But give him a few weapons that will actually get open and make plays and he will manage the game and put up enough points to get you the victory. That's where we went wrong and when a lot of ppl get let down thinking joes gonna single handedly carry us to victory when he's just not that guy. I think we will manage atleast 7 or 8 victories with help from the second half of the schedule- the fact that we've played so horribly but still competed and nearly won every single game tells me that if we actually start playing well we can stack some wins and also that not everything's wrong and a few adjustments in the offseason and we can be right back at it.
Agreed.
well technically he's on pace to throw for well over 4000 yards and that would be a career high. And that's with one 36 year old weapon. But he obviously has been throwing far too many interceptions. But playing devils advocate If his other receivers would get open he wouldn't have to attempt to squeeze the ball in such tight windows and wouldn't have to force feed Steve smith. And more importantly if the defense would actually hold a lead he wouldn't have nearly as many attempts. But yeah there was no excuse for that one interception the other day.
You mean both of them? Not seeing a LB underneath, not really a good reason either... Force feed Steve? Joe has locked onto his primary reciever religiously since coming into the league, from Mason to Torrey to Quan, in fact that's the reason for most of the picks, trying to force it to his primary with poor anticipation. We'll more than likely finish with 4 wins or so. 4000 yards on a 4 win team is a pyrrhic victory at best, especially when your TD/INT ratio will probably be negative. I feel you trying to be positive and that's awesome that you still can be brother. I've just seen the same old same old enough to be over it. But everything is wrong not just Joe.
i have news for you: Peyton Manning is the only man in the league that plays like Peyton Manning. that's why he's "Peyton Manning."
Peyton Manning's play is not a standard. he is an outlier. an exception. Only a fool thinks every quarterback in the league is gonna grow up and be Peyton Manning.
Every quarterback in the league has somebody calling plays for them...that includes Brady.
1) nobody made gronk. gronk can go anywhere in the league and be gronk. Same with edelman.
2) I suspect that almost anybody not in a Ravens uniform is a "no name" to you, so you're not saying much. There are no "no names" on Rodgers' or Brady's team.
3) Joe hasnt received $120M of anything, and wont before he gets a new contract in the 2016 off season. Stop with the contract talk already...
This dude has blinders on, last week he was telling me what a good year Flacco's having and no one can prove he's not.
Some of us did not miss a thing. You can go back and watch the game film on every interception Flacco has thrown this year and you will find multiple receivers wide open and waiting for the ball.
The people that don't want to see it won't man, and there's nothing you can do to change those people's minds. Trust me I've tried. It will always be the lines fault, or the WR fault, or the OC's fault... it's some kind of weird phenomenon that keeps them from putting it on Flacco. Watch this thread they'll be coming out real soon.
We have to stop bringing in mediocre players and then talking them up like they're starting material. Perfect example is our safeties. We went into game 1 with two under achieving career starters that combined to have 6 INTs in the last 8 years of combined service. Both were let go by their previous teams because they were not productive. Why do we keep thinking under achievers will come here and do better than their previous teams? We don't have the coaching or leadership for that kind of mentality any more fellas... Hopefully we'll have enough money after getting out of salary cap hell to make a splash and bring in some top talent and not guys with "high ceilings" and low talent.
Anyone else think it's funny that "they've lost games by six, four, four, three and five points this season, and led late most weeks, so it's not as if they're hurtling 100 mph in the wrong direction" is then followed up by "winning is all that counts in the NFL, regardless of your circumstances"... kind of playing both sides isn't it?
I think I'm calling BS on all these guys have so much heart John.
Last 4 years of secondary draft picks: Tray Walker, Terrance Brooks, Rashaan Melvin, Matt Elam, Marc Anthony, Christian Thompson, Asa Jackson... career INT from the whole group... 1.
Remember all those Torrey and Anquan wish they still had Joe articles... LOL
Man I don't know if I've ever seen a team with such high expectations be so bad. We saw the Bengals continue to go undefeated, the Steelers beat an undefeated team with their 3rd string QB, and the Browns take another undefeated team into overtime yesterday. We could really finish in last place by 3-5 games. I guess we showed all those people that picked us to go to the Super Bowl. Were headed into the danger zone. No silver linings. We're not even drafting well anymore. Guys showing little effort, number 3 in penalties, copy and paste press conferences... man what's happened to our great team in 1 year?

Our defense is not always bad. We can play mediocre for the 1st 3 set of downs at least a third of the time.
