Pro Bowl CJ Mosley was getting lit up today. He couldn't cover a RB, TE, Ref, towl boy...

All I'm saying is Tucker makes roughly 88% of his FG's... there are 24 other kickers right now kicking in the 80's... no one drafts a kicker unless they are an other worldy talent. It makes more since to bring in some of the top college talent and if we get someone that can make roughly... let's say 82% of his kicks... paying that guy rookie rates for 3-5 years is a lot better than dedicating such a large chunck of the cap to a kicker. Trust me after today you see we need other positions much more than someone who's on the field for 1% of the snaps. Just an opinion don't expect everyone to agree. Say the FSU kicker... wouldn't a 6th round comp pick be well spent to get a good kicker that you can pay 25% of that.. instead of a WR on DL that will prb have a 15% chance of making the team.

His work ethic was terrible at FSU too. His talent carried him in college but he will have to work a lot harder at this level to stay on the field.

Seems to be one of the few positions we can train up... reneg Joe and don't pay 4M for a kicker when you can sign one for nothing that will make 5 less FG out of 100.

No doubt. We have lots of problems on both sides of the ball. I'm angry like the rest of you guys that our once top tier team is now gloriously average. Even if no one was hurt we'd still be mediocre. I just don't feel the need to assign the blame and find a scape goat. I'm being devil's advocate. To think all the defense problems are Pees fault is beyond stupid. You really think he's on an island making all the defensive decisions and calls by himself with no input from the rest of the coaching staff? That he single handedly makes the game plans and personnel decisions? I'm sure he wanted Melvin and Will Davis starting this year.

Well the only thing wrong with the defense is the secondary so you're kinda proving my point. Elam and Brooks have done exactly nothing for him, Webb is just now getting healthy (until today). Arrington is a joke. Jimmy Smith is great until he plays an elite WR. How much can a DC really do to help when he has no one to cover WR? I mean What the heck?. Please enlighten me on what our schematic problems are.

So the whole coaching staff including position coaches arent responsible for the penalties and discipline? Don't you realize we are NOT that talented. Too many misses with all these comp picks while we let talented secondary personnel go. Ihedigbo, Stewart, Graham, Polard... hell even Josh Wilson and Cary Williams are more productive than these guys. You can't keep that "well if we can get 80% production for half the price" mentality forever. Google our last 5 drafts and see how many are productive members of our team.

I'm not a Pees supporter by any means but I mean we finished 13th last year in defense (top half) with tons of injuries. Were 13th this year (still top half) with many injuries... We have a good pass rush and run D... The sky isn't falling,
