Stanley really impressed me with his rookie campaign. He was lights out after he came back from his injury.

Damn shame we couldn't get this man a SB ring. Like the great Ravens of yore, SSS always left it all on the field. Honored to call him a Raven.

I don't know what you're on about. Of course, all anyone has here is their opinion. I'm convinced Flacco is a great player that needs to be constantly pushed to be at his best. That's that.

Moore at the very least has looked great on ST. We all know Perriman is electric. He and Flacco need to get together this offseason. We also need creative plays to get him the ball. His hands aren't bad it's a concentration thing where he looks up field before completing the catch. 

I don't think I've ever seen a post about Flacco working with any receivers in the offseason before...

Bruh, Flacco is one annoying creature. Don't hold your breathe, he won't be taking any such proactive steps anytime soon. Personally, I know Flacco is a great player...WHEN HE WANTS TO BE. Playoff game he shows up, game on the line he mostly shows up...heck I believe if we had the ball with a minute and change left at Pitt, Flacco probably wins that game too. Problem is; why can't he play with the same focus and intensity consistently? How come he is able to find open receivers in those pressure moments but sleep-walks his way through most of the game? I've seen talented people like Flacco who are seemingly bored with life and only get going when there's a boot up their behinds. Flacco desperately needs a coach with a size 14 boot constantly lodged in Joe's behind. He needs to be called out before, during and after the game, constantly pressured to be great or he'll always veer back into his default snooze mode, and making rare appearances in big moments.

Means nothing to me till he gets here and produces. I'm tired of empty talk by the Ravens...all I care about is results, results, results, then we can talk.

Good to know that Steve has his ears to the streets and isn't oblivious to the grumblings of the masses. Sure, he has to make tough decisions and live with the consequences of those decisions...such is the burden of leadership. Change is never easy, but sometimes it is necessary. Ultimately, results is what counts...there's getting it done, and there's not getting it done.

So, why did we fire Billick after one bad season with no QB? After all, he just came off a 13-3 season the year before. We've exhausted every excuse in the book in trying to justify the prevailing suckitude...if we want continuity in mediocrity, sure we better stick with Harbaugh and his coaching staff. The result will be the same; 7-9 here we come again!

NB: Those of us criticizing the decision makers are not doing so because it's fun or because we are any less fans of the team as compared to those who choose to bury their heads in sand. We are frustrated because we care, and want to see the team we root for excel. Spare me the lack of loyalty mumbo jumbo.

A porous secondary is only one of many issues plaguing this team. If the Ravens don't get their acts together real soon, things might get real ugly next season...I'm talking Browns ugly.

Steve is a business man, can't vouch for his football knowledge, given his lack of action as Harbaugh continues to wreck his once revered franchise.

Re our 'philosophy':
Perhaps that will change. Yes, the philosophy of just keep it close until the last drive, keep checking down to avoid running the ball/ to pad Joes passing yards, pass to stop the clock when you should be running it (while throwing interceptions), pass on first down intro double teams when you are inside the 10- also on first down, have a head coach and a quarterback that know when this is wrong- but do not try to stop it, keep blowing smoke on knaive fans. Yes. A great philosophy.

I agree, Harbaugh should not be fired. Bisciotti needs to get on Harbaughs case about making changes. He has to see the dismal plays that the fans see. I'm sure he was that he ran his other businesses that way, he didn't become a billionaire by being soft on his employees. The head coach has to be more vocal with his players, let them know when they screw up, not at practice but during the game. Nick Saban, lets the players know when they make bone head plays. Get tough Harbaugh.

What if the head coach doesn't know any better? Why is it so tough for people to envision the Ravens parting ways with Harbaugh? Billick got canned after the Ravens had a bad season, and that was with a glaring absence of QB talent. I'm convinced Harbaugh is clueless and has no idea on what/how to move the Ravens forward.

I'm glad someone on here pointed this out....the excuses need to stop the coaching was the weakest part of the team....harbaugh doesn't have a clue, tressman was well just tressman, marty from the andy reid school hence lack of running game, dean pees how does he still have a job??? These guys was the brain trust this season and people actually wonder why we struggle and I mean struggle no matter the competition. We dominated exactly 1 game this year,  just 1. Folks like to believe we are contenders...don't believe it we have just 6 wins over winning teams the last 4 years....everytime we play winning teams we fold usually in the 4th....it's just hard as a fan watching this team knowing every week we're at a disadvantage with game planning and coaching adjustments and yet nothing will change.....What's that they say is the definition of insanity

Didn't even bother to read whatever Eisenberg wrote up there. Anything short of firing Harbaugh won't result in much progress. The Ravens need fiery, demanding and no-nonsense coaches that would provide accountability and leadership that the Ravens so clearly lack. Problem is, Harbaugh never hires that kind, he detests them, and only hires washed up, docile types that are just grateful to have a job.

-I've thoroughly studied Harbaugh, and I just don't like him as a head coach. I'll throw out two instances(of many) that are very telling: (1). Still boggles my mind that he hired an unaccomplished college position coach in Greg Mattison to become our DC, successfully producing some of the worst Ravens defenses we've seen. Passed over all the quality people in-house, and somehow convinced management to let him reduce the Ravens coaching staff to something he uses to shore up his friendships. Now, we are loaded with a cast of reject coaches(mostly from Philadelphia) with absolutely nothing to show for it. (2) One of the first things Harbaugh did when he got to Baltimore was to summon Ray Lewis and tell him that he was no longer allowed to do his pre-game dance. It didn't matter to Harbaugh that his teammates and the fans look forward to that dance, it got them fired-up and it was pretty much tradition with the Ravens. Nah, it was now 'the harbaugh show' and he was selfishly going to do things his way...forget the Ravens way! Ray Lewis, being the wise fellow he is did not take offense to it, but told him to consult with the rest of the team before reaching that decision...the rest of the players told Harbaugh that there was no way he could get rid of the dance! Ray Lewis steadied the ship for Harbaugh many times over the years, whenever his head-scratching decisions irked a veteran team, but with that initial selfish and egotistical move, he could have completely alienated the best player on his team, if not the whole team. Sure, it's not all Harbaugh's fault, but his fragile ego would never let him hire the right coaches who coach the Ravens' way, thus he's impeding the progress of this team. I expect many to disagree with me, but two years from now when we're still mired in mediocrity some of you would come around. Happy holidays!

How else can I sing this old song? The Ravens need a new beginning, Harbaugh and his cast of Philadelphia reject coaches need to go. Not just because of this loss(this sputtering team had no real chance of winning a SB), but because ours truly is a team that is good at nothing...that is our identity under Harbaugh. Offense is a dink and dunk, 2 yard-passing eyesore, defense can't stop a nosebleed...I don't care what the D was ranked, I don't know what style of defense it is, but I hate everything about it. Please, show Harbaugh the exit and start afresh or we'll be singing the same ole' song next season.

Had more faith in the offense scoring than I had in the "great" Dean Pees defense making a stop. Never seen a terrible defense ranked so high. Offense should have never left anything more than 20secs on the clock. It's all good though, this team as a whole is too poorly coached and wasn't gonna get anywhere close to the SB.

I can't stand Flacco anymore, I'm beginning to hate the dude. I can always count on him to do something to swing momentum back to the opponents. Besides the checkdowns, or dink and dunk garbage, it's quite the adventure when he dares to drive the ball down field. I can't believe this guy still hasn't learnt to get rid of the ball instead of eating the sack at crucial moments. Ducasse gotta go. Yeah, whenever I hear the Ravens have the number one defense, I just ask myself...how? On the positive side, I really like Kenneth Dixon, reminds me a lot of our very own Ray Rice...making something out of nothing and hard to bring down. Umm, I'm still glad we won.

I hate when Eisenberg prefaces his articles by trying to diminish the importance of a game. We're in a tight race for the playoffs, of course we need every win we can get. How can you say the Ravens would be fine by winning their next 3 games, like it's a given...are those teams going to roll over and hand us their lunch money because Eisenberg ordained it? This is not some see 'let's see how we stack up' game...we need this win more than NE does, and I hope we play like it. We don't have the cushion for moral victories, we need actual victories 'bruh'.

Dak was hitting receivers in stride, putting the ball where only they could catch it (post-up to Dez, back-shoulder throws, low and away to Beasley), and generally making good decisions. He was the better QB today.

Dak was consistently missing open receivers until our pass rush died down, and then he had all day to throw and take advantage of our horrible secondary without J. Smith.

Agreed, Dak took advantage of our limited pass rush in the 2nd half, but Flacco couldn't take advantage of their limited pass rush throughout the game. Their offense got going and ours couldn't keep up.

Yeah, Joe was key in winning the SB and it was about time...he was key in losing us some playoff victories in prior years, since we are assigning wins and losses to individuals.

Ray Lewis has been one of Flacco's biggest cheerleaders, even before he established himself. Lewis spoke from the standpoint of a fan. Which of us have not been driven crazy by Flacco's shenanigans sometimes? I know I've often longed to see more urgency from him, which he seems to only tap into at the very end of games. If I had access to Flacco, I would have told him myself. It bodes well for Flacco and the Ravens in general that Lewis called him out...seemingly, no one else in the Ravens organization has the cojones to do so. He responded and played with more focus than he ever had when Ed Reed called him out in 2012. Ray's greatness and leadership always hinged on seizing the moment...I remember him rallying the troops on the sidelines in the middle of a game and letting them know that "this ain't no time to come to the sideline and say my bad, leave it all on the field". Yeah, Flacco is no Lewis, and I don't expect any 'Braveheart' speech from him anytime soon, but I expect him to lead through the urgency and excellence of his play.

Success against Brown starts and ends with keeping Ben running for his life...that's what did it in the past. Give Ben time and Brown will run circles around Jimmy.

Unfortunately there may be some truth to that. I feel like we have to do anything and everything to generate a pass rush in this game, even if it puts us at some risk on the back end. We absolutely, positively must make Ben move or get hit to see what his mobility is. Time for the secondary to man up, literally, as we mix things up with different blitz packages.  

Most unfortunately, Pees only knows one way to call defense...sit back and react. When he dials up his vanilla blitzes, it can be seen coming from a mile away and there's no element of surprise to it. Heck, good defenses only have to create the illusion of a blitz, end up rushing 3 players from unexpected spots and get pressure home, as O-linemen block air...it's all about motion and keeping the offense guessing and flustered. With Pees defense, there's so little motion, no stunts, and everyone wonders why our interior D-linemen are easily blocked...the whole thing is quite amateurish to look at. MAJOR ISSUE: The D-line needs to space out more on passing downs, that tight formation might be good against the run, but leaves very little space for maneuvering if you're trying to get to the QB...you're gonna have to win with a bull rush to get to the QB in that tight formation, which is not gonna happen a lot in the NFL.
