  1. These aren't mistakes week after week, it's what bad teams do. I've said many times that Harbaugh should be fired and got neg'd into infinity. No worries, with time you'll all come around.
  2. Hey, nobody forced the Ravens to dump Rice, heck there's nothing stopping them from picking him up right now. Stop crying because someone else decided to take a chance on Hardy.
  3. Lol 8-0?? Yeah, and pigs can fly...it must be comedy night at Owings mills. Are we gonna go 8-0 by blowing hot air, or has anything changed with that atrocious secondary, or has the loss of Smith Snr suddenly made us better? Ok, I get it, we weren't really trying before, now we are fully awake. Please, stop setting the fans up for more heartache with the false bravado...these Ravens are every bit as bad as their 2-6 records suggest, and are in no position to make such lofty declarations.
  4. Secondary is still atrocious. It's impressive how bad they are.
  5. Sizzle aka The Last General has been greatly missed. Like the Generals before him, he always made big plays when it mattered the most. I have the feeling he would have influenced the outcomes of some of these close games that we've lost...definitely not going down without a fight. Get well Sizzle and let's hunt again next season.
  6. The way I see it, NFL officiating should be the least of our worries.
  7. Best 1-6 team ever? C'mon, just stop with the nonsense. That we make these dramatic last minute gasps in every game doesn't mean jack squat.
  8. Just a bad team. That's all.
  9. I'll fire all the coaches so fast everybody will forget they were ever here.
  10. Nah, the Ravens aren't that dynamic anymore, Harbaugh is too much of a stiff(for lack of a better term). Remember when Deion Sanders came out of retirement after many years and wanted to play for the Ravens? Had Harbaugh been the coach he'd have completely opposed the move. Primetime played great for us too. It's a shame that Reed pretty much begged the Ravens to bring him in, and they didn't even have the courtesy to bring him in for a tryout. After all he meant to the team for so many years, he deserved at least a chance. Had Billick still been the coach, you bet Reed would have been back. It was something the fans were clamoring for, secondary was playing like crap, and we desperately needed the leadership. Some have suggested that Harbaugh probably felt overshadowed by some of the big personalities on the team, and probably wasn't too thrilled that some of those guys could and did step to him to make demands or question the direction of things.Oh well, Reed isn't coming back now, he has finally settled into retirement. We'll always celebrate his great exploits in Charm City
  11. Gilmore has the fire, I can tell he wants to be great. Flacco will learn to trust him more if he consistently makes the tough catches. There have been a few TDs left on the field this season by our receivers.
  12. It would be foolish to take away snaps from a productive player like Guy, for a non-contributor like Canty. However, nothing the Ravens do shocks me anymore.
  13. Brooks always shows flashes and instincts of a defensive playmaker. Hasn't quite gotten the snaps, and he'll make some mistakes, but I've seen him make a few reads on plays that leaves me thinking he needs to be on the field more.
  14. There's no time to come back to the huddle and say my fault, it ain't time for that. It's time to do what we do......Ray Lewis.
  15. If Harbaugh leaves the Ravens today, would they be any worse than they are right now? I think not. He's disposable as far as I'm concerned. Ravens require a complete philosophical overhaul that can only come about with a new coaching regime. Harbaugh is at his wits' end, he doesn't know any better. Sure, we can blame Shareece Wright today and someone else next week, but I'm talking of a deterioration that has occurred over a few years. Some of us raised the alarm long ago, and were called crazy. When the Ravens, under Harbaugh, started morphing into a team that you could not count on to show up on every given Sunday(win or lose, their predecessors always played with guts and tenacity), a team that did not mind playing horrible football for 3.5 quarters, as long as they squeezed out the win...discerning minds observed that this approach was flawed and deleterious. There's something fundamentally wrong with the Ravens, way beyond the injuries they are dealing with right now. Today one of the TV commentators was incensed that the Ravens players were leisurely walking up to the line of scrimmage as precious seconds ticked away with the game on the line. He's an outsider, or he'd have known that the Ravens have been sleep-walking for a long time. The Ravens MUST completely separate themselves from the prevailing culture by moving in a different direction.
  16. O Ray Lewis, where art thou?
  17. Panic usually sets in when your job is on the line. We're one step closer.
  18. Yeah, bro u can go. No hard feelings, if you leave sooner than later.
  19. Guy is playing solid football. Only thing Canty has ever done in Baltimore is cash a paycheck.
  20. I've never seen so many unsuccessful blitzes in my life. No element of surprise(whooah, our inside backers are gonna come up the A-gap and the whole stadium can call it before it happens!), no timing, no spacing(seen our own blitzers running into each other as they attacked the same gap). Seen guys strolling into the blitz, I mean just waiting to be blocked. Last beautifully executed blitz I saw was McClellan against Denver....he delayed that thing just enough for the gap to open, then flew threw like bat outta hell to drop Peyton with a serious hit. Manning never felt comfortable in the pocket the rest of the game. Point is, are we just blitzing to say we blitzed or are we actually getting the desired results of blitzing? Sure, we got 10 sacks, but far too many times(especially on 3rd downs) we weren't even able to make the QB even blink. P.S Pleased to know u watch tape Harbs. While u are at it, feel free to dig up the old tapes of Ravens D under Rex Ryan, and don't hesitate to implement some of his blitz packages. I hear they worked very well.
  21. By far the best returner we've had this season. He seemed so fluid and explosive in this role. Naturally, our 'great' coaches shunned him until injuries forced their hands. They'll rather risk injuring our HOF-bound and only consistent WR on return duties, than make a common sense decision.
  22. Obviously, Harbaugh's standards are different from what I expect for the team. He has wrecked the team already, he might as well sink with it. Based on my analysis through the years, I've traced much of the Ravens struggles to Harbaugh, both directly and indirectly... I've grown weary of making the argument, so I'll offer no hypothesis for the systemic lack of accountability that has pervaded the Ravens under Harbaugh. I'll just sit back, watch the excuses pour in every week, and patiently wait for the inevitable to happen.
  23. That's all we get; more tough talk.
