Maybe it's just me but I would take 1 year of Peyton over the length of Winston's entire career lol
Edit: Sorry but Mariota too. I think both are going to bust.
I think Mariota has a chance to be pretty good it the Titans make it a point to have a really good running game and ease him into things. Like what the Seahawks did.
For any idiot who mentions his age, I will throw Brees, and Brady back at you
There is one big difference between those two and Manning, they don't have a major neck injury. They're old by football standards, but Manning could be one solid hit away from retirement.
IDK. I think he would've fallen to you in the 2nd
Maybe. But I didn't want to risk it and end up with nothing but backups and people who should be backups left at qb, like Cutler.
Out of the QBs left, RG3 seemed the best bet. I still think he has the ability to win big for a team, if you put in an effort to surround him with the right people.
With the 19th pick the Homers select: Quarterback, Robert Griffin III
Major reaches so far imo are Quinn and Winston.
Best values Roethlisberger and Brees.
When it comes to Brees, it depends on how you're picking. He'd be low on the list if you wanted a franchise quarterback due to his age. He's only got maybe two years left in him.
Well, to win in the NFL you need a quarterback and the ability to take out opposing quarterbacks. Donald could possible be the best interior pass rusher in the league this coming season.
I don't love Tannehill that early but I didn't have much choice..afterall the Phins front 7 is pretty sound this year and the boy has some legit weapons.. why not.
I like Tannehill and think that if he's given a good offensive line, he can win big games. I was kinda hoping people would underrate him and he'd slide to my pick. It was a long shot though.
Bridgewater and Flacco aren't elite tier players. They have no business being picked in the ten heck 1st round
Um, 11 touchdowns to zero interceptions in a playoff run, and a ton of playoff victories. He's a dropped pass from likely having 2 rings. If I was picking a QB to build a team around, Flacco would be 2 on my list behind Rodgers.

Yeah, no sense in delaying any further if the first pick is ready.
Do the rookies of this year's draft count as pickable players?
Allen will bring something the Ravens running attack was missing, a home run threat. He can make people miss and break tackles a lot better than Forsett, plus I think he's faster. Forsett's awareness and ability to hit the hole quickly gives him a high yards per carry, but he isn't the type of rb that'll dodge a linebacker and then run for a fifty yards for a touchdown without getting caught from behind. Allen on the other hand has the potential to make that kind of play, as well as do more with screen passes and dump offs.
Team name: The Homers

We have the green light as of yesterday, so we'll begin as soon as we've filled up all the spots.
Might have to accept that we won't get 32 people involved.
DeAndre Carter could be the guy to fill that role. Fast, small, hard to tackle, and plays with a fearless mindset. He seems like the right type, assuming he can properly field kicked balls.
The thing about Brown is that it seems like he can never separate himself from his competition. By all rights he should have been one of the top receivers for the team last season. He stepped up when there wasn't anyone else. And yet Aiken and (when healthy) Camp constantly seemed to beat him out for playing time. If he has another rough preseason, Waller or Butler could take his spot. If he doesn't step it up and actually shine vs his competition, then he's leaving the door open for that possibility.
SSS gonna retire soon. IR Waller, just like we did with Streeter or just carry 6 receivers. The Ravens need to prepare for a SSS-less 2016 season, imho.
Has that ever worked out? Fans suggest it every offseason, but I've yet to see a young player stowed away on IR ever actually play great afterward. They're usually gone in a couple seasons.
So the Ravens have gone from not enough weapons on offense to possibly too many, a good problem to have mind you. But it's now a situation where some touch decisions have to be made before the season itself starts. I'm going to guess that the Ravens only have 5 receivers on gameday.
Safe bets: There are 3 receivers that'd really have to screw up to lose their their active spots: SSS, Perriman, and Aiken.
Marlon Brown: A good number 3 guy and quality depth. However, he does tend to get outshined by more aggressive receivers. There's a reason he wasn't used as often last season. Camp and Aiken just proved that they should be in the rotation more than him. He has the inside tract for being kept as one of the main group of active receivers, but it's by no means safe.
Campanaro: Very talented slot receiver that did seem to be on the same page as Flacco last season. But there's one little problem, he has a hard time staying healthy. All the talent in the world doesn't help if you can't regularly be in the game.
Waller: He's got two things in his favor: he was just picked in the draft, and his size. He could be intriguing if he shows that he can out play guys on jump balls in the endzone. There aren't many corners that can beat a 6'6" receiver for a jump ball.
Wildcards: Then you have the two wildcards in the mix. First is Butler, who got hurt during preseason last year. He has respectable size, speed, and will fight for the ball. He could be everything the Ravens wanted from Doss. Then there's DeAndre Carter, a guy who seems to be built in the same mold as SSS. I remember one quote about him (from his Coach I think) saying that he's a 5'8" receiver that plays like he's 6'5". He's also a good special teams player, as he was a gunner for the punting squad. And he could potentially be a solid returner.
The coaches could be in store for a very tough decision or two come the start of the season.
Interesting that he'll be an X receiver. From what I know, it's somewhat rare for rookies to come in as an X, since the X is more likely to face press coverage. Also, the X receiver is usually the offense's star receiver, according to Pat Kirwan's book Take Your Eyes off the Ball. High expectations I guess.
It partly comes down to the fact that the Ravens don't have many options. SSS really shouldn't be the top guy again, we saw last year that he slowed down a bit as the season went on. Brown hasn't dealt with press coverage all that well in the past, and Camp is a slot receiver. It's between Perriman and Aiken, so they're giving the big play receiver his shot at being the top guy.
We didn't have Bobby Enghram coaching receivers then either. So, give the kid a chance please.
We also didn't have an OC who usually gets a lot out of big WRs, and we didn't have SSS to help out. This is probably the best moment in franchise history to take on project WRs.
i think davis hasn't got a high motor..
thats probably his biggest weakness
That was actually the same flaw for Ngata, which is why he fell to the Ravens instead of being a top five pick. The Ravens' DL coach seems to know how to light a fire under people.
One thing about drafting HCs though, you should be allowed to draft any coach, not just guys that are current NFL HCs. You can get a positional coach, a coordinator, or a college coach. That might make it more interesting.
Interesting! I haven't watched it yet but that's interesting to hear. I wonder who he predicted. Maybe Parker?
I'm guessing he was predicting Peters.

I think Carter will end up as the main kick and punt returner for the Ravens.
