Granted, we didn't actually use Levine that much during the season. Even when injuries happened we went back to Elam at SS over starting Levine.

I doubt that happens, but I would be thrilled if it did. Miller saying he could fall into the teens, which would be a dream come true. The Ravens would grab him without a second thought.

Very smart....Sets the edge about as well as anyone in class.
I know PFF graded him pretty well against the run.
37 minutes ago, DomMcRaven said:Is he a better route runner than Wallace and Perriman? Could he be a speedy possession WR?
His route running is really good, but the big, athletic type of WR just seems like a better fit for Flacco, someone like Davis or Williams. Though if the Ravens did get him, he probably would be a slot guy unless Wallace got moved inside.
20 minutes ago, Lightlock said:Is John Ross not on anyone's radar after that record setting 40? Or are these other WRs just all around better ?
I think for the Ravens the other two top receivers would just be a much better fit if we go WR in the first. We got plenty of speed on the outside already.
So, not only was Jordan Willis second among edge guys at the 40, but he did the best of them at the 3 cone drill showing off great agility, and tied for third at the 20 yard shuttle. i didn't know much about him before the combine, but now I'm really intrigued.
Aside from Willis, a guy that jumped out was Marquel Lee. A 4.61 isn't mind blowing, but it is really good for an inside/middle linebacker. He beat Cunningham's time pretty easily.
15 minutes ago, Wildabeast88 said:Anybody see much tape on Jordan Willis he looks like a nice athlete but haven't watched any tape but I think I need to.
I don't have tape, but I loved how he looked at the combine. At the perfect size for a 3-4 OLB (6'5", 250) he ran a 4.53. Willis could be a steal in the 3rd round.

Hadnt heard anything about him anywhere until the combine but he posted good numbers.
If we're looking for that gamebreaking home run hitter he could be it with a late pick.
Hes way undersized but plays bigger than that. His cuts and change of direction are insane. He proved he's got long speed too at the combine.
His is maybe the most exciting tape I've watched to date. DJ seems to like him a lot too.
check him out.... would love him with our 6th rd pick.
I posted about Cohen in the RB thread too awhile back, and he could be great. He reminds me of Sproles.
Just now, BOLDnPurPnBlacK said:I love Haason Reddick. I just don't know if he can play the edge in the NFL.
Love my Temple guys.
I think Reddick could be a good strongside linebacker in a 4-3.
Yeah, I think Garrett just guaranteed himself the top pick in the draft. Only way he doesn't end up a Brown is if there's a gigantic trade.
Jordan Willis put up a great time, 4.53.
1 hour ago, hn68wb4 said:Everyone already knows this, but...Kpassagnon is just a terrifying guy. 6'7", 290 with a 4.7 40, with that kind of frame and his athletic ability he could be one of the guys that'll just jump up the draft.
That is utterly insane. Put him on the edge and very few tackles will be able to deal with him.

Scott was good, but didn't have a great range. He made up for that with very good instincts that allowed him to know where to be right away to not get caught out of position, but was still a liability against the pass if he got behind a WR/TE/RB and couldn't catch them. He probably would have struggled a little bit like Ray did in his older years if the Ravens didn't have as good of a passrush as they did (thanks largely to a young Suggs) and one of the greatest safeties ever behind him. So, I would take Mosley and Orr over Ray and Scott if we've talking combinations rather than just individual players.
37 minutes ago, DomMcRaven said:For a brief moment, it looked like he mocked Ross to us, but he'd definitely be a great fit for the other birds in Pennsylvania. Was Ross always considered a first rounder?
I think he's generally been considered the third best receiver after Davis and Williams for awhile, which means he'll probably go in the first. Too many teams want a big play receiver, and he was seen as one of the fastest even before the combine.
4 minutes ago, DomMcRaven said:I was watching parts and pieces of the Combine and I couldn't help but notice on the ticker was Bucky Brooks's mock and it had Foster at 27. From what you guys say about Foster's talent, the only way he could fall that much is either a severe injury or he does something incredibly stupid.
Brooks' mock was awful in general.I think he changed up a lot of things in a nonsensical way purely to get people talking about it.

Joe Thomas commented on it. Saying from his experience it was probably because they were asking to do MRIs and stuff like that for really old injuries. He had to have his ankle looked at for the combine for a sprain he got when he was 12. So, while he doesn't condone Rueben losing his cool, he said he understood.
Tweets he added to that one:
QuoteExample: my year, they made me get an X-ray on my ankle that I sprained playing basketball when I was 12 Still need to act respectful!!
QuoteStress builds for players because the medical is 1st day, + plyrs know more they wait and get tired the more it effects the on field drills
I was surprised that Engram got the best time among TEs.
Along the topic of the 40 yard dash, of course people talked to Chris Jones about his run last year. http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2017/3/4/14814164/nfl-combine-chiefs-chris-jones-[profanity deleted]-retrospective-advice-boxers-tights
Curtis Samuel also did really well at the 40. He's another guy that could really boost his stock by performing well at this and other tests.

I think Godwin just really boosted his draft stock because of that.

Redskins, Cowboys and 49ers discussing a huge 3 way trade that sends Cousins to the 49ers, and Romo would become the new QB of the Redskins.
There have been three way trades before, but they are pretty rare.

Well, this possibly increases the chance that he falls to the Ravens.
1 hour ago, RavensDieHard21 said:Having foster and Mosley would be insane. We would have best ILB duo hands down
It would probably be the best combo of ILBs in Ravens history. As great as Ray was he never really got paired with an all star. You could even make an argument that Mosley and Orr were the best combination in Ravens' history, and Foster is definitely an upgrade over Orr.

To me this sounds like they don't really want to let Cooks good. If they were serious about finding a trade partner they would have taken that. They're just stalling and hoping to retain him.
