Sooo what boards will you guys be signing on now??? Been a member since 08 and do not know of any other to discuss my Ravens.

I'll check out RSR and the two new boards made by people on here. Design wise, I think Purpleflock.com is the best one. I hope it takes off.

Our (Ravens fans) obsession with wide receivers is a real thing.

Largely because of how rarely we've had good ones. And having just two legit, NFL receivers on a team (including one that could hit the old age wall soon enough) isn't exactly impressive. Like our CB situation for years, one injury ruins the team.

Not to mention the number of lost playoff games due to bad receivers dropping passes. That alone can make fans focus on receivers.

The bills gave up their 2012 first rounder and their 2013 first and fourth round pick to trade up and get him.Youre not getting him for anything less than a first and I think hes worthy of our first.

They aren't going to hold out for a first for a one year rental, regardless of what some past GM did to get him. And the Bills themselves obvious don't think he's worth that much if they aren't picking up his 5th year option. They're purposefully shortening his contract to move on from him.

I'd give picks for him. It's worth the risk. But I wouldn't want a one year prove it deal, at least get him for 3 years so the dealt pick can be worthwhile. Hopefully he stays healthy. But it's basically selling out hoping we get one last shot at a super bowl. With the defense we have in place, we don't need to do any major rebuilding, just need a C, RT, and WR and we could absolutely contend every year. With our defense it feels like it would be worth it to sell out for another shot.

I think a 2 or 3 year deal with him that's mostly incentive based would be really good. Watkins, Perriman, and Wallace would be a good top set of WRs for the team, as long as they're healthy. I'd gladly give a third round pick to the Bills for him, the Ravens if could a good contract worked out.

I think the Bills would take a third round pick for him since it's higher than any comp pick, and it lets them have some type of guaranteed payoff since his contract is in the last year (they said they won't renew it for the 5th year option).

Do you think he's a day one starter though? I personally do.

I do. He's a better fit for our new blocking scheme than any other interior lineman aside from Yanda. Also, he seems really intelligent and coachable, so I think the veteran lineman and coaches will get him up to speed.

yeah its crazy the level of pass rushers that are joining the AFC North this year- Garrett, Watt, Willis, Lawson, Williams were all at various points regarded as 1st round talents and they are all joining the AFC North... the browns have garrett and lawson which could be tough to defend against

    Didn't the Bengals take Lawson?

Yep, he went to the Bengals. They have Willis, Lawson, and Carlos Dunlap now.
