  1. I'd have to go with Adams. He just seems to have that x factor that draws out the best of the people that play with him. Really reminds me of Weddle in that regard.
  2. I'll be surprised if the Browns go in any direction except for Garrett at number 1. For the Browns' fanbase's sake, I hope the new GM is smart enough not to screw this up. He's done good so far.
  3. I like Takk as well. I think he can be a poor man's Suggs on the strong side, with the ability to do well against the run and pass. Takk could be a very good trade back target. I just think Lawson's talent level puts him higher if you're willing to take the risk on the injuries.
  4. I'd take Williams over him. Not sure about Harris. His lack of bend worries me a little, but with how explosive he is off the line he might not need that much bend to effective. I'd probably take Lawson over Takk, but Takk could be the safer pick.
  5. I can't see the Jaguars going for Mahomes. I don't think they're ready to give up on Bortles, and Mahomes has a lot of the same questionmarks as Bortles (though probably a higher ceiling). Willis in the 1st in insane to me. He does not look like a first rounder on tap. He could become really good, but it'll take time. Adams should be a top five pick and it'd be insane for the Ravens to pass on him even if we did get Jefferson. Jones I can see as a late first if a team really likes him. On Lawson, the guy has first round talent, no question. When healthy he is extremely good. The injuries will scare off a lot of teams. Though if he slides to the second, then someone could get the steal of the draft.
  6. His ability to get open deep is not on the same level as Mike Williams or John Ross. He's far better as an intermediate threat than a deep threat, and at the NFL level I don't see Davis outrunning DBs to the endzone. He'll get yards after the catch, but he isn't going to leave some safety in his dust. His style of play is much closer to someone like Eric Decker or even Boldin rather than Amari Cooper.
  7. I just think Mike Williams or Barnett would be better picks for us if they're available, but Ross certainly wouldn't be a bad one.
  8. Mid-second seems alright for grabbing him considering his ceiling. Could be considered a slight reach, but he's a great fit for us. Godwin would be capable of taking over the outside receiver spot across from Perriman while Wallace moves inside to give him some better matchups.
  9. Thought this could make for an interesting thread. Basically, who do you think will go in the top 15, and which one or two guys will be left on the top of the Ravens' board. Round 1 pick 1: Browns: Myles Garrett, edge Pick 2: 49ers: Jamal Adams, S Pick 3: Bears: Marshon Lattimore, CB Pick 4: Jaguars: Solomon Thomas, DT/DE Pick 5: Titans: Malik Hooker, S Pick 6: Jets: OJ Howard, TE Pick 7: Chargers: Jonathan Allen, DE Pick 8: Panthers: Leonard Fournette, RB Pick 9: Bengals: Rueben Foster, LB Pick 10: Bills: Mike Williams, WR Pick 11: Saints: Haason Reddick, OLB Pick 12: Browns: Michael Trubisky, QB Pick 13: Cardinals: Patrick Mahomes II, QB Pick 14: Eagles: Quincy Wilson, CB Pick 15: Colts: Ryan Ramczyk, OT If this happens, then I think Corey Davis or John Ross will be the pick; it just depends on if the smokescreen was a bluff or a double bluff where DeCosta just told the truth thinking people would think it's a bluff. So, who do you see going ahead of the Ravens?
  10. Tom Flacco was Terrell's backup. Though he might become the starter now.
  11. Here's draftbreakdown.com's video of him playing against Northern Illinois: He got knocked loopy at one point and that effected him for a bit but he seemed to come back strong. I like that he doesn't just force feed his top target and looks for who's in good position. And he's patient. As a side note, he finished this game with completing 75% of his passes, and getting 3 touchdowns. And here's a general highlights video of Terrell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-OWGxzG3rY
  12. For late round/UDFA QBs, I really like Zach Terrell. I think he has all the makings of a good career backup that can keep an offense going if the starter goes down. He seems to understand what he can and can't do very well, and doesn't make mistakes. He had a 70% completion rate, and 33 TDs to only 4 ints. Part of that was helped by having Davis to throw to, but still, he did a great job.
  13. Julio and Fitz got to the Super Bowl and only fell just short. And the Ravens won the super bowl in part because of Boldin's great play. As for past great receivers to win the Super Bowl: Gronk (he's more of a receiving threat than a blocker), Colston (Saints in general had a top tier receiving core that year), Reggie Wayne, Greg Jennings, and Hines Ward. Saying great WRs don't win Super Bowls is just inaccurate. Over the last twenty years the winners (and losers) tended to have some top tier play makers on offense.
  14. Well, if Allen fell that far, that means teams are terrified that his shoulders won't hold up. If that many teams pass on him, I'd say there's a good reason to be wary.
  15. That I have to disagree with. With 4.5 speed, he'd still be a great route runner with good hands that has a knack for scoring in the redzone. He'd basically be a young Edelman, and still go in the 2nd.
  16. Well: 11: The Saints need an all around play maker on defense, and Reddick fits that bill. Though they could go Barnett too. 12: At the end of the day, all the potential in the world gets you nowhere if you don't have a QB. I think the Browns know this. 13: The Cards love having a vertical passing game, but have a 37 year old QB. I'm not a big fan of Mahomes, but they've got good coaches and are in a position where he could sit for a year and work on polishing his mechanics. It makes sense for them, and allows them to have a smooth transition to a new QB after next season. 14: The Eagles lost both their starting corners. They brought in Robinson, but it's not like he can cover both sides of the field and the nickle at the same time. They need corners in the worst way. 15: It's the Colts. They always need o-line help, and he's the best tackle you're probably going to get in this draft.
  17. I knew I forgot someone. Yeah, Barnett would also be a top option in this case.
  18. CBS just did a mock. They had one receiver going before the Ravens, Corey Davis, so the Ravens selected Mike Williams. Here's the link so you can see how they came that conclusion: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2017-nfl-mock-draft-run-on-pass-rushers-in-first-round-fournette-goes-in-top-five/
  19. I'm betting on Ramcyzk in the first for them, someone to stop edge rushers. They'll grab a top interior guy later on, like an Elflien or Asiata.
  20. Out of that group, I think the Bills are the only ones that actually take a WR.
  21. It'd be funny if the Colts took him. They won't protect Luck by improving their line, and instead just make a rookie running back run behind that same line.
  22. NFL.com compares Davis to Eric Decker, which seems like a good comp to me.
  23. I see Fournette going to the Panthers. The Saints likely go with Foster, Barnett, or Reddick. Whichever is left on the board when they pick.
  24. I think Williams is the only WR that goes before we pick. The Bills or Eagles will take him. The other teams just have giant needs elsewhere. Granted, the Ross is a good fit for the Cards, but I actually think they go QB or CB. if the top of the draft goes like I'm expecting, the Ravens will have their choice of Ross or Davis at 16.
  25. The only running back I see going in the top ten is Fournette.
