  1. Well, you'll be up to pick in like ten minutes.
  2. Michael Johnson was my backup option for my upcoming pick. Even if he never returns to how good he was for that one 11 sack season, he should be able to apply constant pressure, and be able to stay in on potential running plays.
  3. Central time is an hour behind EST. He'll be skipped at 4:22 est, and 3:22 central.
  4. Welp, Codizzle's turn is over. KDUBB is on the clock.
  5. I know Kirksey's more natural position in a 4-3 scheme is OLB, but it seems the Browns will be using him as an ILB in their defense. Also, I think he has far more upside than most of the actual MLBs left. And with that my starting linebacker corp is set: Beasley, Kirksey, and Jenkins. Three young, athletic players that should be able to roam freely behind Williams and Mebane.
  6. With the 481st pick in the fantasy draft, The Homers select: Chris Kirksey, MLB
  7. Was busy doing other stuff and I'm looking over today's picks now. PaRAYdise just had to come in and take House, the guy I was going to pick next. I really wanted to pair him up with Byron Maxwell.
  8. He's just waiting for the right time to pick their current legendary qb.
  9. I wouldn't include Arizona on that list. After Palmor went down they barely limped into the playoffs, and that was only due to them already have a comfortable lead in wins before he got injured. The Cardinals went from possible Super Bowl favorites to having no shot of winning a playoff game. Vikings also lost what slim shot they had when they had to use a backup in the playoffs.
  10. And there goes the guy I was going to pick next. I had to really debate between him and Sean Payton this round.
  11. Yeah, I'd have several DC candidates ranked higher than him.
  12. I considered waiting until much later to take a coach, but just felt like Payton would make a bigger impact than any single player I have left on my board. Plus, I have to agree with Inqui. He's an elite coach, and probably the last of the elite ones that was left.
  13. With the 466th pick, The Homers select: Sean Payton, HC
  14. Like, three hours I think. Which is probably already over.
  15. Humphries could prove to be a great tackle against speed guys on the edge since he's lighter and quicker than most other tackles
  16. Good pick with Jones. I had a couple receivers ranked higher than him, but if healthy, he can make a big impact.
  17. We're at the part where team needs are starting to play a bigger role, and people are picking based on whether or not they see potential in the player going forward. So there's a good chance your board and other people's boards are completely different.
  18. Kinda surprised Vernon Davis was still on the board. He's definitely better than quite a few of the other tight ends taken ahead of him.
  19. You could roll the dice on a rookie tight end. It's true many of them don't stand out, but there's a few that could prove to be decent starters.
  20. Cards could grab him. Him and Iupati would be a hell of a guard tandem.
  21. Eh, I'd rather the Ravens not get Mathis. Too much money, and I love the idea of it eventually being KO, Urschel, and Yanda as the three interior linemen. Beasely was technically a 3-4 OLB in college, and I'm keeping him an OLB in my 4-3 scheme.
  22. Harbaugh made it pretty clear he would not be happy about abandoning the run game. While he won't be calling the plays, I'm sure he'd have words with Trestman if it seemed like the offense was giving up on run game after game. Also, Trestman comes from a team where bad things continued to happen due to their lack of a running game recently. I'm pretty sure he wants a more balanced offense this time around.
  23. Flacco has proven to be surprisingly durable, even when the o-line wasn't protecting him that well so he has a good chance of playing into a late age, like the way Brees has. It'll also help if the Ravens keep a great offensive line, like what we had last season.
  24. Wow. The last 6 picks all have a positive rating. There's usually at least one in any group of picks that's disliked.
  25. Thanks. I was a bit worried you'd take him since you don't have a RG or RT yet.
