  1. With the 622nd pick of the draft, The Homers select: George Johnson, DE
  2. Sure, I'll vote with the idea that you can pick OCs and DCs at any time but they can be poached.
  3. True. Might be better to actually make people wait until everyone's picked a head coach and then let them pick coordinators if they want to. Also, it's odd that Truth isn't around. he's usually on around this time.
  4. It's pretty late in the draft anyways. So, sure, I don't object to people getting coordinators now.
  5. Pees is okay as a DC. There's quite a few guys I'd take over him, but at least you know the defense won't be bad under Pees.
  6. Damn, I was actually hoping to take Brooks next round (have someone else lined up for this round's pick). I know he was a bit inconsistent his rookie season, but he has plenty of talent, he's versatile, and can hit like a truck. I think he was just in over his head last season since he wasn't get much help from the other defensive backs. I wouldn't be too shocked if he ends up being the starting FS for the Ravens before the season is over with. It is a shame though that Ozzsome didn't use a gif of the hit.
  7. Pretty sure Ozzsome is back up.
  8. Personally, I'd prefer Chip Kelly as an OC over an HC. Though him as HC could work if there's a strong GM in place to keep his weirder ideas in check.
  9. With the 595th pick in the draft, The Homers select: Eddie Royal, WR
  10. Agreed. Next time we can cut down to like twenty people.
  11. I think we'll at least get around half the people to finish it and make full teams.
  12. Hurst struggled a bit at LT for the Ravens, but he could be a good RT, and at this point in the draft it's worth taking a shot on him.
  13. Actually, no. You aren't supposed to. You just pick a guy to be a HC, and you can pick a coordinator to be your HC. I doubt someone would actually take Romeo Crennel to be their head coach, but they could.
  14. Willie was in the top 3 on my board of players who were left. He might miss a bit of time, but it's a good pick.
  15. I'll second what Inqui said. Ryan was actually my backup option if someone picked Brock before me.
  16. Yeah, I know taking a 49er is a big risk and all, and he's also coming off a season ending injury. However back in 2013 Brock quietly had an amazing season. PFF had him as the 9th best corner in coverage, he got five interceptions, and he only missed two tackles. If plays at that level again, than him and Maxwell will be an amazing cornerback tandem.
  17. With the 558th pick The Homers select: Tramaine Brock, CB
  18. There's two coordinators I can think of and five college coaches (aside from Jim) that could prove to be good NFL coaches. Honestly though, I wouldn't fault someone for taking the risk on a coordinator without HC experience or a college guy without pro experience. Ozzie put a special teams coordinator in charge of the Ravens, and it's turned out pretty well. Doesn't always happen that way, obviously. But sometimes it's worth taking a risk.
  19. Well, at this point we're over five hundred picks in. There's a few gems still left but in a lot of cases it's either a rookie with potential or someone that's been only average as a pro.
  20. According to the board, he has not been picked yet.
  21. I think Tre Mason has everything it takes to be a top running back in the NFL, and did a lot without having a particularly good line blocking for him. I really like the idea of him running behind Ben Jones, Alex Mack, and La'el Collins. I was also considering a certain rookie runningback, but decided to pick a young guy that has proven he can play well against good, NFL level defenses.
  22. With the 518th pick in the 2015 Fantasy draft, the Homers select: Tre Mason, RB
  23. I think McDonald can become a poor man's Pollard, a good enforcer that plays more like a smaller, faster linebacker than a safety. He could be really useful in punishing receivers and tight ends that go across the middle.
  24. I've considered Adams for the last few rounds, but there always seemed to be a good player in a position I needed more than I needed a WR. I love Adams' ability to run after the catch, and he can be deadly in the right offense.
  25. I didn't think we were going to pick special teams.
