  1. I'm still iffy on Peppers in the first. I think I'd rather trade back for a guy like Bubba Baker than to take Peppers at 16. i really like your rounds two, three and four though. I'd be very happy with those guys.
  2. The depth is why I'm somewhat against grabbing a corner in the first. I can't complain if we do since he probably will be a different maker, but we're more likely to find good corners throughout the draft than we are going to find a great edge rusher, WR, or lineman.
  3. Zay Jones is actually the WR I'd want the most in this draft because he seems to be Mr. Reliable in terms of route running and making the catch.
  4. To me this sounds like they don't really want to let Cooks good. If they were serious about finding a trade partner they would have taken that. They're just stalling and hoping to retain him.
  5. Granted, we didn't actually use Levine that much during the season. Even when injuries happened we went back to Elam at SS over starting Levine.
  6. I doubt that happens, but I would be thrilled if it did. Miller saying he could fall into the teens, which would be a dream come true. The Ravens would grab him without a second thought.
  7. I know PFF graded him pretty well against the run.
  8. His route running is really good, but the big, athletic type of WR just seems like a better fit for Flacco, someone like Davis or Williams. Though if the Ravens did get him, he probably would be a slot guy unless Wallace got moved inside.
  9. I think for the Ravens the other two top receivers would just be a much better fit if we go WR in the first. We got plenty of speed on the outside already.
  10. So, not only was Jordan Willis second among edge guys at the 40, but he did the best of them at the 3 cone drill showing off great agility, and tied for third at the 20 yard shuttle. i didn't know much about him before the combine, but now I'm really intrigued.
  11. Aside from Willis, a guy that jumped out was Marquel Lee. A 4.61 isn't mind blowing, but it is really good for an inside/middle linebacker. He beat Cunningham's time pretty easily.
  12. I don't have tape, but I loved how he looked at the combine. At the perfect size for a 3-4 OLB (6'5", 250) he ran a 4.53. Willis could be a steal in the 3rd round.
  13. I posted about Cohen in the RB thread too awhile back, and he could be great. He reminds me of Sproles.
  14. I think Reddick could be a good strongside linebacker in a 4-3.
  15. Yeah, I think Garrett just guaranteed himself the top pick in the draft. Only way he doesn't end up a Brown is if there's a gigantic trade.
  16. Jordan Willis put up a great time, 4.53.
  17. That is utterly insane. Put him on the edge and very few tackles will be able to deal with him.
  18. Scott was good, but didn't have a great range. He made up for that with very good instincts that allowed him to know where to be right away to not get caught out of position, but was still a liability against the pass if he got behind a WR/TE/RB and couldn't catch them. He probably would have struggled a little bit like Ray did in his older years if the Ravens didn't have as good of a passrush as they did (thanks largely to a young Suggs) and one of the greatest safeties ever behind him. So, I would take Mosley and Orr over Ray and Scott if we've talking combinations rather than just individual players.
  19. I think he's generally been considered the third best receiver after Davis and Williams for awhile, which means he'll probably go in the first. Too many teams want a big play receiver, and he was seen as one of the fastest even before the combine.
  20. Brooks' mock was awful in general.I think he changed up a lot of things in a nonsensical way purely to get people talking about it.
  21. Joe Thomas commented on it. Saying from his experience it was probably because they were asking to do MRIs and stuff like that for really old injuries. He had to have his ankle looked at for the combine for a sprain he got when he was 12. So, while he doesn't condone Rueben losing his cool, he said he understood. Tweets he added to that one:
  22. I was surprised that Engram got the best time among TEs.
  23. Along the topic of the 40 yard dash, of course people talked to Chris Jones about his run last year. http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2017/3/4/14814164/nfl-combine-chiefs-chris-jones-[profanity deleted]-retrospective-advice-boxers-tights
  24. Curtis Samuel also did really well at the 40. He's another guy that could really boost his stock by performing well at this and other tests.
  25. I think Godwin just really boosted his draft stock because of that.
