I like Torrey a lot but I would prefer keeping Wallace. I would love to get Boldin back or if Camp could stay healthy to have a realiable target other than Pitta.
10 hours ago, rmcjacket23 said:Keep in mind also that Wallace is due just $5.75M next season. A 1,000 yard receiver returning as the defacto #1 WR on the roster and we're going to ask him to take a paycut from a very reasonable amount due?
If I'm Wallace or his agent, there's no chance in the World I take a paycut, and I might even be asking for a raise.
Wallace is due 8. Mil we save 5.75 if we cut him.
I like this mock Feeney is a nice pick and insurance policy to kick Lewis to RT if Wagner leaves. Rounds 2-3 are amazing I think I may ave been one of the first on Kazee. I like Pumphrey as well. Price concerns me because of his age I mean he was in school for 6 years.

He mostly held his own, no pun intended, in the Eagles game against Fletcher Cox and Bennie Logan for one. I've been pretty critical of several of Zuttah due to the penalties he's had considering that they were somewhat game-changing at times. The hold against Pittsburgh and the unnecessary roughness against Dallas still stand out as both avoidable and momentum-killing. That being said, while his 6 penalties were among the top among centers, when charting the calls, I don't know that I came away believing that all of the holding calls were completely deserved. His first two came in week 4 against Oakland, and they were a little questionable (Link1, Link2). No penalties until the week 11 Dallas game where he imploded with three. The unnecessary roughness one was utterly boneheaded (Link), made even worse by the fact that he did a solid job on Sean Lee, stopped and then needlessly reengaged. I can understand the one prior to some degree considering that final tug as David Irving is throwing his arms up (Link), though the very first penalty on the screen pass that came prior was of the ticky-tack variety (Link). His next and final penalty was a crucial one against Pittsburgh in week 16. I broke that play down a few weeks ago. Truth be told, while he's unspectacular, I feel like Zuttah isn't a bad center. The Pro-Bowl nod might give our front office pause, and I like most wondered of whether he'd be a goner, which could certainly still happen. But all-in-all, I don't know that I'd be outraged if he's still around next season.
6 penalties did they forget the 0 60 Is more like it
On January 23, 2017 at 8:32 PM, balfan23 said:I have no knowledge or understanding of the grading system. It seems like Zuttah has had some really good game - but then has had some pretty bad ones. And by bad, I mean they involved the kinds of plays it doesn't require being an expert in analysis to see. Just getting shoved into the backfield and plays getting blown up. Those kinds of dramatic failures are what fans see and it doesn't take many of them to paint an ugly picture. Thrown in some very untimely penalties and that leaves fans feeling like he's a disaster.
Penalties must not count because he killed us there multiple TDs called back.

The locker room cancer thing I can't really argue. Seems like he's been a problem everywhere. Who knows, maybe it's just a serious "competitive spirit". I mean, Steve Smith Sr did punch his teammate in the eye. I don't think I've heard of Marshall getting into actual fights with teammates. His Denver issues were over the top though
Part of the Denver stuff was before he had the bipolar thing diagnosed but he does a lot for charity and the community. Plus if you had to deal with Gino Smith, Fitzpatrick, Hackenburg as your QBs you would probably want to leave town too.

1. Cleveland Browns- Myles Garrett DE Texas A & M: Much like the Texans in 2014 when they took Clowney over a QB, I don't see the Browns passing on Garrett. Good building block for Greg Williams.
2. San Francisco 49ers- DeShone Kizer QB Notre Dame: What to expect out of John Lynch? Who knows, but they do need a QB. Kizer is here for now, unless they like what they see out of Watson leading up to the draft.
3. Chicago Bears- Jonathon Allen DT/DE Alabama: They could fall for Watson but Allen is too good to pass up. If the Bears plan on winning the NFC North, they have to get to Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford.
4. Jacksonville Jaguars- Leonard Fournette RB LSU: When the Giants won their Super Bowls, they had backs like Jacobs and Bradshaw to compliment Eli Manning. Fournette can be the compliment Bortles needs to take pressure off him and have a good running game to control the clock.
5. Tennessee Titans(via LA)- Mike Williams WR Clemson: The Titans reportedly like Williams and he would make for a great number one for Mariota.
6. New York Jets- Marlon Humphrey CB Alabama: Revis Island is sunk. Revis is old and his age showed big time last season. The Jets grab his replacement taking advantage of this great corner class.
7. Los Angeles Chargers- Jamal Adams S LSU: I had Hooker here but with his recent surgery I expect him to drop, a little. The Chargers missed Weddle, and get his replacement here.
8. Carolina Panthers- Solomon Thomas DE Stanford: Charles Johnson is a free agent, if they bring him back this pick changes. For now, the Panthers get a stud pass rusher as they look to rebound and get back to the playoffs in 2017.
9. Cincinnati Bengals- Derek Barnett DE Tennessee: If the Bengals cut bait with Adam Jones for his latest stupidity, this changes to Lattimore. They need someone opposite of Dunlap, and Barnett could provide exactly what the Bengals need to jump the Steelers & Ravens in the division.
10. Buffalo Bills- Deshaun Watson QB Clemson: Someone will fall in love with Watson. Whether it's the 49ers, Jets or Bills remains to be seen. With Tyrod Taylor expected to be gone, the Bills finally hope they found their franchise quarterback in Watson.
11. New Orleans Saints- Reuben Foster LB Alabama: The Saints defense is still a mess, taking a LB like Foster could help turn things around.
12. Cleveland Browns(via PHI)- Malik Hooker S Ohio State: I'm dropping Hooker for now but not too far. The Browns need safety help and take advantage of a top prospect falling to them.
13. Arizona Cardinals- Corey Davis WR Western Michigan: Fitzgerald told ESPN that he is coming back for 2017 but they need someone for the future.
14. Philadelphia Eagles(via MIN)- Dalvin Cook RB Florida State: Carson Wentz is going to have input on what the Eagles do this off season and a RB like Cook will most certainly take pressure off Wentz.
15. Indianapolis Colts- Marshon Lattimore CB Ohio State: Chris Ballard knows the impact of a talented corner as he was there when the Chiefs drafted Marcus Peters. This will provide a huge boost to the Colts defense that badly needs improving.
16. Baltimore Ravens- Quincy Wilson CB Florida: I think it's time we get a legit corner opposite Jimmy Smith. We can not go into 2017 with Wright as a starter, Tavon will make for a great nickel and a solid 1-2-3 punch with Smith/Wilson/Young and Double W(Webb and Weddle) at Safety.
17. Washington Redskins- Zach Cunningham LB Vanderbilt: The Redskins can upgrade from Will Compton and Mason Foster.
18. Tennessee Titans- Jabrill Peppers S/LB Michigan: Tennessee grabs their Safety of the future. The Titans need to upgrade their secondary, and get a major boost here,
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Christian McCaffery RB Stanford: With Doug Martin's suspension and the fact he's cooled off since his rookie year, the Bucs are ready to move on from him. They may trade ahead of Philly for Cook but for now take the third best RB in this class.
20. Denver Broncos- Cam Robinson OT Alabama: No matter who the Broncos franchise QB is, Denver needs to upgrade their protection. Robinson is great value here and can immediately start at right tackle.
21. Detroit Lions- Caleb Brantley DT Florida: They took A'Shawn Robinson last year but having someone who can grow along side him for the next 8-10 years would be ideal.
22. Miami Dolphins- Taco Charlton DE Michigan: Mario Williams is likely to be released, and Miami needs some young pass rushers.
23. New York Giants- Jarrad Davis LB Florida: Kelvin Sheppard is a FA and will need to be replaced.
24. Oakland Raiders- Malik McDowell DT Michigan State: The Raiders need to improve their defense, as they were ranked toward the bottom of the league. If the Raiders want to take the next step, improving the defense is a must.
25. Houston Texans- Mitch Trubisky QB North Carolina: The Texans ownership has already said Osweiler will have competition next year. Trubisky will fall as soon as the height concerns(shorter than what North Carolina lists him at) become reality. That won't stop Houston as they are in need of a true franchise quarterback.
26. Seattle Seahawks- Ryan Ramcyzk OT Wisconsin: The Seahawks offensive line was the weakest part of the team in 2016. An upgrade at OT is needed and Ramcyzk will give a boost to Russell Wilson's protection in 2017.
27. Kansas City Chiefs- Takkarist McKinney OLB UCLA: Dee Ford is entering a contract year, will KC give him the money he's looking for? If not, they can prep another pass rusher to take over when he leaves.
28. Dallas Cowboys- OJ Howard TE Alabama: The future after Tony Romo is clear, Dak Prescott. Jason Witten is playing at a high level but grooming his successor would be wise. If this happens, Dallas' offense will be set for the next 10-15 years.
29. Green Bay Packers- Sidney Jones CB Alabama: The Packers secondary makes our secondary look good. An upgrade is badly needed as they can not continue wasting away what time Aaron Rodgers has left(Turns 34 in December)
30. Pittsburgh Steelers- TJ Watt OLB Wisconsin: James Harrison may comeback in 2017 but they need to find some young blood. Watt would provide Pittsburgh a talented pass rusher opposite Bud Depree.
31. Atlanta Falcons- Dan Feeney G Indiana: Chris Chester is a free agent, and part of the Falcons success is because they invested in their offensive line. They continue doing so here.
32. New England Patriots- Tim Williams DE Alabama: Yeah Williams is likely to drop to the second round but the Patriots did pick up Michael Floyd after his DUI. Chris Long and Jabaal Sheard are free agents, so the Patriots take a gamble on a troubled player and will be called geniuses and that this was a great move, opposed to someone else taking him and being called a bad pick.
Ravens Round 2-4:
Round 2, Ethan Pocic C LSU: This may be a reach in the second but Travis Frederick was a reach when he was picked too. An upgrade over Zuttah is needed, and giving him competition may light a spark under him. Or Pocic will out perform him, take over and help lead our running game to great success like he did for Leonard Fournette.
Round 3, Tyus Bowser OLB Houston: We pay lots of attention to the Senior Bowl, Bowser was the sack leader for Houston and showed off his coverage skills during senior bowl week covering a first round prospect in OJ Howard. Ozzie and co will snatch him up and make him another senior bowl standout drafted by the Ravens.
Round 4, Cooper Kupp WR Eastern Washington: We haven't addressed WR yet in this draft but something tells me we may do so in FA like we always do. So while it took a while, we finally get that WR to pair with Perriman.
Remember we have a 3rd comp for KO

I was huge on Kupp knowing Williams and Davis were out of the question but I was disappointed in Kupp at the Senior Bowl he was great in practice but not involved in the game. Jones was dominant and making ridiculous catches I moved him up over Kupp
I have officially changed my new favorite WR is Zay Jones. I was a Kupp guy but have been converted.

I am impressed with him he looks solid
I'm impressed with this Lorenzo Jerome kid he seems to always end up near the ball in this game and the other all star game.
It's official Zay Jones is amazing Ozzie draft that man please
These Tackles can not move their feet speed rushes are killing them

I think there's quite a bit of difference between Banner and Pocic, experience inside is huge and Pocic does deal with problems with bend. The big issue is DTs out leveraging them and Banner hasn't shown the ability to out bend smaller interior linemen like Pocic - and even Pocic isn't perfect about it.
Yeah the bend is a problem with Pocic I get what you are saying about Banner but if you can't handle speed rushers that is possibly a bigger problem
3 minutes ago, Grapple Raven said:I've seen multiple reports before the Senior Bowl having Zay Jones slated in the 2nd or 3rd rounds (as I put on here a while back), but it is sure bet his stock is only going to go up! Scouts love it when a player comes from an NFL family as they know what it takes to prosper at the next level and the Ravens value that too. I swear I want him to be a Raven so bad, lol.
Player from an NFL family like Perriman.

Just now, hn68wb4 said:at 6'8" I doubt he can really survive inside
Pocic is 6'7 at C and there is a good interior lineman in the league that is 6'8 but I am having a moment and can't think of who it is. I would rather him go inside then get crushed on the outside. Remember JO played his rookie year at G before becoming a HOF T
1 minute ago, hn68wb4 said:The OTs have been pretty terrible all game
Terrible and there is no blitzing allowed if it were we would be out of QBs by now
2 minutes ago, Grapple Raven said:I think that maybe the one hn68wb4, but I will check back and make sure, lol. But Feeney is good.
Feeney played some C this week he started as a G then moved to T And practiced at C either Wed or Thurs
I think Banner may be better off as a G looks like he is having a tough time with speed rushes
