  1. Stat from Sportscenter. 1st 3 quarters Bell and Brown 22 touches for 122 yards 0 TDs 4th quarter 11 touches for 121 yards 3 TDs. Something obviously changed and was not accounted for
  2. Leslie Frasier is in house I would take him in a minute over Pees.
  3. Maybe you are right about perception but we have lost to many games by going prevent way to early
  4. My biggest issue is Pees propensity of playing prevent and playing it way to soon I get if we are up 14 with 2 minutes left but not up 21-0 at the beginning of the 4th quarter or up 10 with 8 minutes to play. If we stayed in our base D we probably don't fold up like a cheap folding chair and we could be talking about going to the playoffs. I know there was an earlier thread about the prevent I just think he goes to it to early and allows our aging pass rushers to get worn down with the rest of our D by being on the field for extended periods of time in hurry up offenses. My other issue is if what you do for 3 quarters works why change to sometehing where we get gashed up and down the field for an entire quarter.
  5. We aren't exactly great at making adjustments either Edelman's 5 yard slants that were open every play. Witten running open across the middle the entire Dallas game. Ryan Matthews gnashing us the entire game. Crabtree and CoreyColeman abusing Wright for an entire game
  6. Rex when he ran the D was better than when his brother Rob ran it this year. Some guys are better coordinators than head coaches(Norv Turner)
  7. I would rather have a guy who doesn't change how he plays after 3 quarters of success into something that doesn't work. Both games Brown was shut down for 3 quarters and let loose to run free through the secondary in the 4th quarter of both games.
  8. The last several years Harbaugh has left points on the board by going for 4th downs fake FGs and our lack of execution. The biggest issue was Jimmy being hurt we only lost 2 games with him if I remember correctly Oakland and Washington I can't remember if he played Jets game. Also a consistent theme was penalties drive killers(Zuttah) 1. Jimmy Smith injuries 2. Pees prevent D see both Steeler games we shut them out for 3 quarters and implode in the 4th. 3. O-line injuries/penalties 4. Lack of pass rush
  9. Winner right here. Thread done right? Come on home Rex
  10. Maybe a Demarcus Walker from Florida State although his grading/slotting in the draft vary greatly. I have seen anywhere from top 20-3rd round so I need to do some more digging.
  11. The only thing I can see that maybe others see is the lack of ints and maybe that tweeter label although others have had success with Deon Buchanan type players who played S in college who went to LB in the NFL. That is the biggest issue other than the aforementioned immediate need.
  12. That would make more sense but I think there are bigger needs at pass rusher CB C/G and WR not just a slot guy. I could be wrong but it looks like this week we might give Reynolds a shot to work in the slot along with Camp. I know big if but if Camp stays healthy I feel he would do what McCaffrey would do. Don't get me wrong I like McCaffrey but not with our other needs.
  13. Me too I have been on draft speak and already done about 15 mocks so I can't talk
  14. Yeah I was just looking I saw they are sophomores but I believe at least Lattimore was a redshirt and could be eligible
  15. I like both the Ohio St CBs as well Lattimore and Hooker. I have heard some analysts say move Hooker to safety and he could be a similar player to Ed Reed I know super high praise but returned 3 Ints for TDs this season. I like Jones I also thinks Adoree Jackson and the kid from Clemson Tankersley I think could be good. Clemson has put out some good CBs the last 5 years and Desmond King from Iowa definitely like him I wanted him last year but he went back to school
  16. McCaffrey or Dixon I think Dixon is better we will not have to RBs on the field to get her so in my opinion it is a waste to pick McCaffrey.
  17. Might as well wait until after the game and we know for sure where we are picking.
  18. Sorry for the length of the articles but is a really good player but since he is going back I guess wait til next year

  21. Quin Blanding from UVA he is a junior S 3 year starter in 3 years he had 358 tackles averaging 10.0 tackles a game but I just read in my research he announced today he is going back to UVA for his senior season.
  22. Like I said probably the Buckeye in me. What are your thoughts on Blanding
  23. Pass rusher needs to be top 2 CB I could see some decent prospects in rounds 3-4 depending on what O-linemen are available in the 2nd. Also we will have Maurice Canady coming back next year who I think could be a solid CB with that typical size all teams look for.
  24. Ok in that case it makes more sense but I do not like his stone hands 1 Int at Michigan he is an athletic specimen but I don't know if it's the Buckeye in me but I feel he is Elam 2.0 a safety I like that is going in round 3-4 in most mocks that I like better is Quin Blanding from UVA he could play both FS or SS I believe as a freshman he had 7 picks ACC defensive rookie of the year and led the team in tackles this year possibly last too. He also gives us that which safety is playing what role to confuse QBs
  25. First thing is some of the drafts were cut off early after 3rd or 4th round we have some gems there and solid contributors like Juice, Wagner, McPhee, Pitta, Arthur Jones, so I feel that skews the argument against Ozzie I do agree the first 3 rounds we need big time contributions but his 4th round to UDFAs is top notch. Some of the recent ones are hard with BP and Maxx being injured but I feel both will be solid contributors.
