  1. Disagree. The offense performed just fine without him and actually went on to be one of the best offenses in Ravens history. It wasn't the offense that let the Ravens down.

Read J.O.1.4's comment because he got exactly the point I was trying to make

While it may not be a necessity, having a healthy Pitta would have made our offense even better. We did have one of the best offenses in Ravens history, but if we have Pitta, he could have been the difference between some touchdowns and FGs in the redzone. I remember Daniels missing a ball in the back of the endzone late in the fourth quarter at New England in the playoffs. While it would have been a tough catch, I still firmly believe a healthy Pitta makes that catch. But I agree that our offense wasn't what let us down, injuries let us down.

  2. I do, but a ring and an SB MVP award haven't gotten him recognition. At some point, he's going to have to put up numbers if his fans are to include any more than just Ravens fans. I hope this is the year. Obviously winning comes first, but you can definitely have your cake and eat it too in this game.

Winning the SB HAS gotten him recognition, but it hasn't made believers out of everyone.  Getting that 2nd SB puts QBs in another level, and honestly believe that Joe can win at least 2 more SBs in the Harbs era

  3. Now, we see Joe "develop" Perriman and Williams to put this noise about drops and "bad hands" to rest! Sad to speculate, but if Dennis Pitta takes the field, I'd be frightened he'll do irreparable damage to himself! Hope cooler heads preside - he's not a necessity!

Not having Pitta wouldn't spell "Doom" for our season; however, a player of Pitta's caliber is always a necessity for a football team.

  4. Just once I'd like to see Joe have fantasy value. I know we all could care less, but I swear the only reason why most people in America think Joe still sucks despite all of his statistical landmarks is because they see him ranked as like #18 in fantasy football and that's the only way people know if a player is "good" or not these days. If he can touch top seven this year, he'll finally get some respect and I won't have to exhaust myself arguing with fools about Joe not being an elite QB.

If you want Joe to get more recognition, then forget the numbers. Just root for him getting rings!

  5. A possible Omen? From Jamison Hensley's ESPN article on the analysis of our schedule.

The Ravens are only home twice (Week 3 against the Bengals and Week 5 against the Browns) through the month of October. It's the first time this has happened to Baltimore since 2000, when the Ravens overcame that brutal start and won the franchise's first Super Bowl.

Wonderful! It can match with the omen of that Raven that videobombed the reveal that SB 50 was gonna be in Santa Clara

  6. Two Road Monday night games against the Browns and Cardinals? What?

Other than that, the schedule actually isn't too bad.

Starting the season will be tough, but I could definitely see them going 5-2 (4-3 AT WORST) through that road trip with losses to Denver and Cinncy.

After that there's a 3 game home streak (And Not Facing Rivers in December)and quick road games to Miami (In December :D) and Cleveland. Sunday night at home against Seattle will be absolutely insane, and it will show whether we are playoff ready or not. KC and Pitt shouldn't be too bad, and then we get to finish in Cinncy, AGAIN

LOL You know what's funny about that? Harbs has been pleading for the NFL to give us a MNF home game.  We now have TWO MNF games and BOTH are away, LMAO! I wanna see Harbs reaction to that

  7. I was so hoping to face Manning and Rivers in the cold. This is probably going to be another bloodbath unless maybe Manning really is as done as he looked at the end of last season.

    Arrange a trip in February.

Rivers was pretty damn good last season in the cold.  I think that myth of him being bad in the cold doesn't hold

  8. LOL, I saw a Steeler fan write this regarding the leak of them playing the Pats.

"What are the odds that Goodell's beloved Ravens are also one of our first 3 games? Probably high."

Goddell loves the Ravens? XD LOL Give me a break!
