Love what I'm reading about Boyle! "Fifth-round pick Nick Boyle brings a lot of size to the tight end position. He was one of the rookies who didn't seem overwhelmed. In fact, Boyle showed his fellow first-year players where to line up a couple of times before the snap."
If Pitta does come back, it's nice to know we have the option to work him in slowly rather than throw him right into the fire.
Yea I think the PUP list is a foregone conclusion for Pitta at this point to start the season.
We have a good crew. Hats off to Supernaw who was released
Here I was at work excited that we extended Jimmy's contract, only to come on the boards to see ppl whining about the $$$. As if he was gonna get paid any less elsewhere.
Like many have said, if he can stay away from the accidental injuries he'll be one heck of a ball player for this organization! I love watching Jimmy play, let's go Ravens!
Ravens fans can be some of the most spoiled fans
Real football Ravens fans will know how much Jimmy is worth for the Ravens....The new contract is a steal....his injury is just bad luck and nobody has bad luck all the time....
Till this very day, I ponder who was the heartless soul that destroyed Timmy Jernigan's snowman
It was Robin Lopez from the Blazers. He hates mascots
Ngata, that's why he got traded.
LOL!!
Oh Boy another notification! Cant wait to rea- sigh... it's just another comment to pechillo's status
LOL
It makes good off season conversation (entertainment).
HAHAHAHAHAHa love this sorry brother
Thanks a lot media. Due to all this coverage on the Pats and why they're despicable, dirty cheats, you've made me want to root for them in the SB. I want the villain to win. I want the Ravens to be the only team to beat the evil empire. Only us! They're OURS!
At least we still have Ozzie, Harbs and DeCosta
If I have faith in anything Ravens related, it's in Ozzie and Harbs. Not saying they're always right...but I still have major faith in them
it doesn't help that the best are gone already. I'm having OC Castillo anxiety attacks lol
I'm interested in Greg Knapp. But let's see how these guys do. I can't knock them yet
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOE!
I'd like to imagine that Gary said the following in his decision to stay "When you think of BAL no one thinks of the OFF. What if I can be the one to change that? A Hardnosed offense paired with a smashmouth defense?"
Ozzie....I have faith in you. Please get us some talent to get us a championship next season. Still love my Ravens!
Amari cooper in the draft, that is a priority if i'm you guys. Let torrey smith go and free some cap room as well for a direct replacement in cooper.
Cooper may be gone by that time. Honestly, I know everyone wants to draft a flashy WR in the draft, but if we can get a Boldin type of acquisition in FA that'd be perfect.
That's true, or a good TE like antonio gates style as a reliable receiver would work well too
I wouldn't, necessarily, mind losing to the Pats if their fans and media weren't so arrogant. The Pats are a damn good team and are probably the best team in the AFC. It's a shame that the attitude of their supporters mess things up for the likability of their team
We always want Joe to prove himself, but for this game, I'm looking for our WRs to show us that they're the real deal! Be better than their corners.
I'm looking at Daniels and Gilmore - New England has been good against receivers but not so much against TEs this season.
SSMith is the prefect guy to match up on their corner tandum. Aiken,Brown and TSmith can disrupt Browner. I think our TE's have advantages in the second layer
IMHO they don't have to show they are better, just show they are good enough to beat them in a team win. Though, maybe that is showing they are better.... Let's just win the game one play at a time, total focus.
I'm not trynna be that guy...but SOOO many people are hyping us. "NE is scared of BAL". I'ma say it now, come gameday, NE's gonna wanna do more than just win. They're gonna do their best to try and bury and embarrass us. Definitely not saying they will, but they're not gonna be playin just to get the W. I'm jus sayin
I still have faith we'll win, I'm jus sayin the Pats are gonna be playing to humiliate us rather than just win the game
Is there something new about this? They run up the score all the time and media doesn't say crap about it; then when we run up the score, media and fans get pissed off...It is man football so if you can't stop them from scoring, it is your fault....
If they try to play to humiliate us, that will be their downfall. I just want us to play better than they do to the extent where we win at the end. The rest is meaningless.
Steelers and Ravens fans HATE each other, but there's still respect. Pats and Ravens hate each other, but there's NO respect. "The most deplorable organization in American professional sports punched its ticket for a playoff rematch with the New England Patriots next weekend" - Boston.com
I have a confession to make. I like the Ravens v. Pats rivalry better than BAL vs. PIT rivalry. BAL vs PIT is physical, but BAL vs NE? It's like Batman vs Joker, Ying and Yang, Cat vs Dog, Light vs Dark, etc
I think Ravens-Patriots is more of a playoff rivalry. Hopefully we renew it next weekend.
+I also think its a playoff rivalry simple because we have to deal with Pitts twice a season, then compete all season for top seed
I like it too. Street fighters vs the martial artists. Bruce Willis vs the die hard bad guy.
Beating the Steelers aside, ya know one other reason I really want us to win? So we can end the talks of "This team can't do anything without Ray and Ed"
As much as I'm not happy about the possibility of us not making the playoffs, I can still see the positives of having winning seasons despite us being in rebuilding modes with 2013 and 2014. But after reading these boards, I'm truly convinced that a lot of Ravens fans cannot cope with mediocrity. From "let's bench Flacco" to "We need to fire Ozzie and Harbs", for the well being of Ravens fans, I don't think this team can afford to not be champions of something...
I don't think he let that get to him. He stayed on as DC until he was offered a HC job.
We are rebuilding s much as people don't see that. Our time will come, just as it did in 2012. Patience is key. successful seasons as we have had throughout the years has become an expectation. We should appreciate it so much more than we do.
As you know I am Not a neg, doom & gloom fan.Its the positive that Ray Lewis embeded in us.
Seattle doesn't have great WR, and yet they win in a tough division. Hell, their top 2 WRs (Baldwin and Kearse) are undrafted
Not going to lie either, you'll never get a defense that good with Pees here.
As much as I've defended Pees this season, I will definitely agree with you on that
The Seahawks have also allowed fewer PPG in the last 2 seasons than the Ravens have managed in any season since 2011
All week long...Over and over again.. I kept saying "Stop underestimating the Jags" "We don't have the luxury of resting players". Some of you obviously havent seen the Jags play. They play tough on DEF. TOUGH. This won't be a shoe-in win.
From the domestic assaults issues, to topsy turvy performances from all NFL teams, devastating loses (Victor Cruz, Pitta), unexpected off the field injuries (Cam Newton and Eric Berry), and a hell of a lot more....This has to be one of the most emotional seasons in NFL history
I wanna see more Crockett Gilmore!
It was a shame to see that long reception called back last game. He could again be a surprise X factor in the upcoming games.
He looks content blocking and stunned when they throw to him
Give him a chance for some recieving work in sunny Miami
