  1. I'm having a really hard time understanding how Lions fans think Suh was innocent. The guy didn't even look back after Rodgers hit him. He knew he was stepping on someone. I mean.. how the hell could you not know?
  2. Beating the Steelers aside, ya know one other reason I really want us to win? So we can end the talks of "This team can't do anything without Ray and Ed"

  3. So many of our fans counted us out. That's a shame. GO RAVENS!

  4. As much as I'm not happy about the possibility of us not making the playoffs, I can still see the positives of having winning seasons despite us being in rebuilding modes with 2013 and 2014. But after reading these boards, I'm truly convinced that a lot of Ravens fans cannot cope with mediocrity. From "let's bench Flacco" to "We need to fire Ozzie and Harbs", for the well being of Ravens fans, I don't think this team can afford to not be champions of something...

I don't think he let that get to him. He stayed on as DC until he was offered a HC job.

We are rebuilding s much as people don't see that. Our time will come, just as it did in 2012. Patience is key. successful seasons as we have had throughout the years has become an expectation. We should appreciate it so much more than we do.

  5. Seattle doesn't have great WR, and yet they win in a tough division. Hell, their top 2 WRs (Baldwin and Kearse) are undrafted

Not going to lie either, you'll never get a defense that good with Pees here.

As much as I've defended Pees this season, I will definitely agree with you on that

The Seahawks have also allowed fewer PPG in the last 2 seasons than the Ravens have managed in any season since 2011

  6. You know what really impressed me about this kid? It had to had been after his 1st or 2nd tackle. The cameras were all panned in on him. Right after the play...the guy does some gesture I forgot (either a chest bump or a finger point)...and with that gesture, he intentionally riles up the crowd. This kid has moxy! Pure moxy! It was his enthusiasm that got me excited. I pray that he succeeds, because he will be an electrifying player for us in the future.
  7. All week long...Over and over again.. I kept saying "Stop underestimating the Jags" "We don't have the luxury of resting players". Some of you obviously havent seen the Jags play. They play tough on DEF. TOUGH. This won't be a shoe-in win.

  8. From the domestic assaults issues, to topsy turvy performances from all NFL teams, devastating loses (Victor Cruz, Pitta), unexpected off the field injuries (Cam Newton and Eric Berry), and a hell of a lot more....This has to be one of the most emotional seasons in NFL history

It was a shame to see that long reception called back last game. He could again be a surprise X factor in the upcoming games.

  11. Nah. Jeff Fisher will keep his job. The Rams are only a season or two away from being a good team
  12. But do you think Harbs really wants to bet on Cutler? We also have to take into account Harbs family. If his wife wants to stay on the West Coast, they're going to Oakland
  13. Blame Pees huh? You think Rex would do better? Pagano? Wade? We don't have the personnel to even press a sandwich together. The coach can only do so much. Ozzie is the only one who can fix that secondary.

      ravensdfan

Exactly! And we had Cam! Exact same situation.

    2. Ravenslifer

      Ravenslifer

@redrum52 we've spent plenty of picks on the secondary. From 09-14 we've had 18 draft picks first 3 rounds not including the comp for Gilmore. We've spent 2 first rounders and 2 3rd rounders on secondary players or 22 percent of all picks. If we include pass rushers, that's another 3 picks, total of over 40 percent of early draft picks on pass defense. As far as offense, from 2008 until now we ranked 11th, 9th, 16th, 12th, 10th, 25th, and are currently 6th in offense this...

      SeaHawk

This defense will not improve until we see a change in the coaching philosophy. When one scheme isn't working, change it up, disguise it, do something. Not every defense is perfect, but some are just great at masking those weaknesses. That's not Pees' strength.

  15. Look at the Broncos and/or Colts forum and you'll find that the fans are saying that their teams are gonna be "one and done" in the postseason. This just goes to show...no matter how good your team is, fans are always ready to write their team off after a loss

    1. redrum52

      redrum52

@Dom... in their defense, Manning was brought to win a Sb, not have a high season win total. I'd be a little mad as well, considering they're basically going all in, in the short term.

  16. If 2012 was the year of the Rookie QB, 2014 is the year of the Back Up QB

    1. NebraskaRavensFan44

      NebraskaRavensFan44

Which brings the question : Which would you rather have, a Good QB that gets hurt a lot or a Bad QB that never gets injured?

    2. TDubbs

      TDubbs

Personally I want the Good/Solid QB that I can count on game in game out, year in year out. As opposed to a QB like RG3 who shows Elite skill levels and amazing plays, but will always be injury prone.

    3. stampedehero

      stampedehero

I prefer a good back up QB

    1. TDubbs

      TDubbs

Looking at their schedule I think they head into the season finale with us at 9-6. Then we break them and they finally draft out of the top 10 lol

First time in 19 yrs they've held first place by themselves.

  20. I was wondering this too, but we see it all the time. I forgot what game it was, but I've seen Hurst pretty much push Forsett into the endzone. It's not something that's hidden either. Announcers bring up those plays all the time, but I guess in some way it is a legal play.
  21. -SIGH- This is gonna be a long week till Sunday. At least watching the Redskins lose tonight will make me feel a little better

  22. If we just, run the ball more... sincerely keep to the running game, then we would have won today and in Indy. Joe is awesome, but Joe and the receiving core can't be our primary motif. Let our running game do the big work. Tone down on Deep throws

    1. Alaska Alaska!

      Alaska Alaska!

We definitely didn't abandon the run. However, I feel like we relied more on the passing game when we should just try to commit more to the run game. Look at our past games. When we have a healthy balance between running the ball and passing, we win. We lose when we break that balance.

    2. rmcjacket23

      rmcjacket23

We threw it 34 times and ran it 26 times. The balance wasn't the issue.

    3. rmcjacket23

      rmcjacket23

What people are asking for isn't really balance... they are asking for run-heavy.

  23. I'm not worried bout (our) Mosley. He seems to have a similar demeanor to Joe...a guy that likes to get wild on the field, but is super chill off the field
