Lots of keyboard GM's commenting on this article that know nothing about football. Fact is Wallace is a more complete wide receiver than Torrey Smith, and just as fast, AND cheaper. Not to mention that he indicated he WANTS to be in Baltimore. He didn't want to be in Miami or Minnesota. The fact that he wants to be here gives hope that his attitude will be better. We don't need him to come in and be the #1, we need him to be like Jacoby was, and if you all remember, the year Jacoby had his best year, we walked away with a Lombardi.
I honestly don't want Lewis to start. He's really not that great of a player, he's kind of the same as when we brought Michael Huff here. Everyone said "oh he's a quality player, not amazing, but quality" and then he just fizzled out. I have the same feeling about Lewis. I'd much rather see Will Hill at Free Safety and Elam at Strong Safety. If Elam plays well, and you put those two with Smith and Webb we could be dangerous
I'd like to see them keep Butler. I'd personally like to see Steve Smith, Perriman, Aiken, Brown, Butler and Campanaro all make the squad this year. I think this is the best receiving core we've had in a long time, and I'm pretty happy we let Torrey go and replaced him with Perriman
IF we can get Steve Smith and Mack in FA, then our first round pick can be a playmaking free safety or a right tackle. Think about how amazing that would be, especially since this draft is deep when it comes to receivers. Pick one up later and fix the important holes first!
Steve Smith was injured last year and his numbers were still almost as good as Boldin's the year we won the super bowl. Guy can still play! Pick him up for cheap since he's kind of old anyway, and then we'll have enough money to go for Mack.

Not even close to overspending. Guy has been with trash QB's the past two years. With Flacco throwing the ball he'll be worth every penny
