I love the idea of JJ and Steve Smith's personalities together in our wide receiver core. Also I think Smith would be great for that veteran slot position and JJ can be a deep-ball specialist.

The deal is 4 years 14 million, 4.5 guaranteed

Love to see JJ back back but still believe we need to draft or sign a slot wide receiver.

Does anyone know how we started yesterday with 26 million and now we only have 15.7 million. I don't fully understand this because monroe is only getting 3.25 mil this year, so where did it all go? Thanks for the help

So much for a "big splash". It's getting kind of irritating watching all these teams sign good players at reasonable prices. Hopefully we can join in soon so we don't lack talent.

I still hope we can make a splash that isn't retaining our own guys such as signing guys like hakeem nicks or james jones.

Really still hoping to get a wide receiver in free agency. I think we should go for a guy like golden tate or julian edelman.

Really hoping we can strike a deal with Julian Edelman. He's a good slot receiver and an even better returner which will help replace Jacoby.

I think we should retain Daryl Smith and Monroe, and then try to get either Thurmond, McCluster, or Bethea to help in other needed areas.

If we can't sign Corey Graham, I think we really should take a shot at Walter Thurmond to replace Graham at nickel

I'd rather sign a guy like Darren Sproles to help with 3rd downs and return game. And then we can also find a real number 2 wide receiver because JJ just frankly isn't good enough as a wider receiver.
