Yeah obviously juicecheck is the least valuable of the 2013 class. He's a good FB but he's replaceable as hell. Ricky Wagner is definitley one of the top picks of the 2013 draft but RTs grow on trees. You can find cheap solid RTs in FA and adress the position later in the draft and get studs (See ricky wagner) Brandon Williams is a top 3 Run stuffer in the league who puts a solid amount of pressure on QBs for a run stuffer.

Well that's pretty much what the ravens have done our entire history is add WRs in FA/Via trades with the exception of torrey smith. I'm more in the favor of signing veterans to be compliment to the stud young WR you drafted but obviously haven't done that. It's not impossible if you're lucky as hell. I'd say the steelers did a very good job of doing that, if everyone was fully healthy they'd have the best offense in the league. (And probaly do without some of those guys) It varies for CBs I've said you can find CBs later in the draft. Guess I got his 2015 cap mixed up. Still unless webb becomes a truly awful corner it won't make sense to cut him., The ravens will be stupid enough to cut monroe as well probaly.

2011: Jimmy smith + Torrey smith+ Pernell McPhee+ Tyrod Taylor the rest sucked.= Pretty good draft class. 2012:Upshaw+ Osemele+ Tyson= Not great but 2 solid starters and a depth guy. 2013: Williams+ Wagner+ Juicecheck+ Ryan jensen+ Lewis moore= This draft class produced 3 solid starters with potential for more. 2014: C.J mosley + Timmy Jernigan + Crockett gilmore + John Urschel+ Brent Urban= 3 starters with the potential for a lot more. 2015: We'll see but it looks at least as good as 2012. Ok so every draft has produced two starters at least is that amazing? No that's the goal. 2 starters per draft is the goal for every team. We're not drafting poorly it's just we can't afford to keep the guys who play well/ Injuries. Has ozzie had misses? oh hell yeah. But no one's eprfect.

Fair enough that's what I thought was wrong with him anyway. It would but we can't afford him. Joe flacco has a 28 mil Cap hit, Monroe has like a 9 mil cap hit. Ozzie's goal is to replace those players in FA/during the draft. You put duct tape on a team with a crap salary cap and not every draft pick being a pro-bowler and hope it works out. 6/8 years it has worked out. 2013 we were one game away from the playoffs so you could say 7/8. This is the first year duct tape didn't work because the duct tape got set on fire. We weren't winning at the beginning of the year but that's more or less on luck/ Coaching/ not making plays. Having created like 6 turnovers doesn't help either. This isn't a talent deficent problem it's fixing the minor things that caved in the whole team. it was the perfect "everything could go wrong and did go wrong"

It's not a horrible thing, Because A if you spend enough picks on a position and nothing pans out something's wrong with your evaluation of that position or something is off. I think we can all agree Ozzie isn't great at scouting WRs or our Scouting department isn't. Whether it's pure dumb luck or whatever, It's something of note. Just to prove this torrey smith is the best reciever ozzie ever drafted, Hopefully Breshad disproves that... But considering he had drops in college and basically lost a year of devlopment that's not looking great right now. Oh yeah and after torrey smith it gets depressing as hell. ANYWAY I really thought ozzie would stick to his M.O sign/trade for WRs in FA/June and had something planned (Trade during the draft) I was even more suprised when I saw it was Denzel Perryman....and I laughed cause I thought I was right about ozzie...Wrong perriman (Dang ESPN) and it was BRESHAD and ESPN screwed up the pick. Everybody breaks from the trends once in a while. So thus ozzie's gonna shock the world again this draft season.

I don't feel we can avoid getting a CB without actually finding one. Saying, "hey we can just find one in the later rounds or just rely on an undrafted rookie" is how we got to this point. I don't know if we can just do that and find a good CB honestly. I also don't even know if Webb will be back and Jimmy has his problems with injuries. We need a CB who can not only move Webb to safety but provide depth as well. Webb will be back since we can't cut him without taking a loss on the salary cap, Of course jimmy does but you have to assume he'll stay healthy for 10-ish games. We have four solid-ish CBs plus whatever in FA we add. We're fineish/ok at CB for next year (Trust me I don't love it long term but we have other stuff to adress) Webb is our best slot/Nickel CB. Moving him to S is kinda redundant. J.J watt is the NFL's best player he's an exception.

I'd disagree with wagner being the better player/best 2013 pick. He had a DAMN GOOD 2014 campaign and I'd say he was the best RT in the league (he was according to PFF) but he's dropped off his place this year by a lot.

We're drafting well the players just don't go to the pro-bowl and we can't afford them. See Pernell McPhee a top 15 edge rusher we couldn't afford to keep. Torrey smith (Though we really don't need him) is the best reciever ozzie drafted. Neither made a pro bowl, Paul Kruger was mostly a bust except for the superbowl run where he put a lot of pressure on the QB to help us get there. The talents there it's just not on the field right now because it's on IR. We do need a homerun draft class so analysts will hush, Also to help the overall quality of the roster. Right now we probaly won't be able to afford Osemele our best young lineman because of the salary cap restraints. (No it's not joe flacco's cap number cripping us) You want a franchise QB? it's expensive to have one nowadays. Joe should restructure so we can build a team around him and he gets long term security into his mid to lates 30s. he doesn't have to restructure, What are we gonna do...Cut him? AHHAHAHAHAHA yeah no. We have no leverage other than to say "Hey joe look what happened when we can't afford good depth cause ur hogging all the cap space so take one for the team or you'll get crappy protection and maybe re-tear that knee" The NFL is a rough landscape people, It's also one of the most unpredictable sports. We don't need more probowlers we need more wins.

We signed corey Graham in FA as a special teamer. My point was you can find any kind of player later in the draft, Plus we have potential at CB with will davis and shareece wright+ Webb and Smith who are solid players when healthy/on top of their game. CB Night train lane was an undrafted rookie, There aren't many modern examples because many players just simply aren't given a chance.

Assuming both are gone which is likely if we pick lower than 4 or even at 3. Assuming we pick at 3 I think we'd be forced into Hargreaves, He's a top 6 player on my board but I'm not crazy about DBs that high. But still gotta be him given the other options just don't line up with our needs (I love deforest buckner though...But e don't need d-lineman thankfully)

So? You can get quality DBs anywhere if you're lucky/smart. See chris harris JR.

Ozzie hasn't drafted a successful defensive back for us since 2011 with jimmy smith. He's been hit or miss for the positon for a while.

Ew and ew. I love walterfootball but ewwww. I don't think we need a secondary player with our first pick, I love VH3 but come on man. Josh doctson is coming out of TCU's gimmicky offense he's a pure upside player no thanks.

We mostly play a 4-3 under with 3-4 personell.....a 4-3 defense is something we don't have the players for. It'd be stupid to change scheme Pees is an NFL coach and knows way more about football than all of us so please stop. We need changes/fixes on defense and maybe firing pees helps who knows. I doubt finding a new guy will help given he will still lack top shelf personell.

OTA's and such are chances to help get players in shape and evaluate where they are. it's voluntary for a reason though. Bryn Renner is a QB who played well in the pre-season who cares. He'd never see the field after this season. We threw money at jimmy smith after he played like a top 10 CB we didn't have a choice but TO pay him. (You don't let your best cornerback hit the market) Webb took a paycut to stay with the team and is a solid CB. We can't afford Osemele , The ravens shape the roster week by week as all teams to do.

He's Hyped because he's the best safety in this class by a mile. Even though I like jeremy cash a lot. Still we'll probaly never draft him I just like the dude. "Enforcer" safetys are a dying breed ramsey isn't a typical "enforcer" who can't cover like you make him out to be.

If we pay KO like a LT we can't afford him. As a guard we can't afford him unless ozzie does some magic shuffling (We do not have wiggle room aside form joe flacco's restructure/extension and that might not happen since we have NO leverage) I'd rather give eugene monroe one more shot (And if he sucks have a devlopmental Tackle and backup OT ready to go) Wagner's a FA after this year as well, I'd just love to have bosa and adress OT later since have options at LT. Plus tunsil has that wierd off the field issue with stepdad that got him suspended for half the season, I've mostly ignored that but the more I looked into it...yikes. You can google it.

You really think Ed reed hit the ground running? These kids coming out of college aren't HOF players yet it takes time to become ed reed. I'd say ed reed wasn't ed reed until his 3rd year. Expecting your first round pick to be an above average player is all you can ask for, Hell ozzie didn't even like ed reed that much he was their 3rd or 4th option.

There's no strenght questions with Stanley for me that's just media nitpicking and the wrong assessment it's his technique that forces him off his anchor/not reset it and allows him to screw up. Eh I'm not crazy about LTs and think the position is overrated a little don't get me wrong it's important but not as imporant as a pass rusher.

I think if we're at 5 tunsil and bosa are gone. I would say we only pick ramsey or hargreaves if we pick later in the draft (Aka past six) which is unlikely. but possible Hargreaves won't go in the top three unless Tennesse falls in love with him, The chargers won't take him. The ravens would take bosa or Tunsil, I like stanley but he's the no.11 player on my board it's poor value to take him at 3-6

No it doesn't mean that but I can't exactly show you every single snap of his career and show you he was a below average player for most of it. It's a few fans that think he was sucky I've watched him play about 3 seasons give or take a few games and only his 2013 season was pretty good. I'd use profootballfocus but you'd just laugh at that too wouldn't you? Also not every person is a rocket scientist is joe flacco an MVP caliber QB? No. Is he good enough to win a championship? yep. good enough for me and should be good enough for the fan base but we always want more/get spoiled then we come crashing back to earth or stay stuck in our reality that's based on our opinions which may or may not be wrong.

1 in 14? He was drafted in 05. Just because he got paid doesn't mean he was a good player I know what I'm talking about, Rolle was always an overrated player. I know this because my cousins are cardinals fans (And one's a giants fan) yes it's jsut a fans opinion but beleive it or not players can be overrated. More or less why I'd rather spend our first rounder on bosa or Tunsil (Even though I do not want a LT) We have potential at CB and investments at Safety maybe one of them works out at both positions. @purplecity5 I doubt bosa or tunsil are there if we pick at 5. They're the blue chippers teams would love to get and about every team has a need for LT or pass rusher above us (Save for cleveland maybe)
