  1. Did you not see the shift? How did Flacco miss that and lead the runner into the overload?
  2. We had 14 damn seconds to change that play! That 2 was 100 percent on Flacco!
  3. Come on Hester you gotta get under that! Can we run the damn ball!
  4. 5 throws in a row out of the gate. No Bueno!
  5. Damn it. I'm the one that missed the boat lol
  6. Gilmore is by far the best blocking TE on this squad. With a shaky line, Gilmore is needed more than ever. Glad he's back
  7. I love the approach but let's be honest here. Gronk makes everyone better because he demands double teams and Brady will go to him at least once every goal line situation. That said, the pats are still gonna come at us in a few different ways trying to expose our weakness. theyll try edleman, Blount, and Bennett in different situations early on to see how we respond and adjust their gameplan. It's vital that our offense sustain drives and keep the game to under 10 drives because if you give the pats 12 or 13 chances then they will make the adjustments and hurt us in the fourth quarter.
  8. Suggs is a flat out baller! Every game he makes a few plays that only a hand full of players in the NFL can do. Teams are literally running away from him 90 percent of the time because they know Suggs will either make the tackle or swallow two blockers and force the runner into our linebackers. That's the ultimate compliment to a edge setter. 8 sacks in 8 games played with a torn bicep coming back from an achilis is just Suggs way of telling the league "y'all better not forget where I am"
  9. Great post. I hope he does put a nice lick on Brady early on! Do you know how hard it is to learn how to slide on the other side? I played with a brace almost identical to joes when I tore my ACL. It got stuck under me every game and I literally learned how to slide on my but but I couldn't change to the other foot lol
  10. Yes we can! And if we play as well as we have the past 2 weeks then we will!
  11. I don't know if I qualify because I didn't particularly call for his job mid season but really thought he should have been on the hot seat somewhere around that time. Well since then, pees finished the second half of the season with a top 10 D and this year it's a top 5 D. So if there's ever a way for a coach to get off the got seat then it's this lol Somewhere around mid season last year I had enough of secondary players not developing at all. J.Smith and Webb were regressing. Elam and Brooks were not even improving. Arrington and Shareece wright were also in that mix. That sequence had gone on for years and I didn't think pees was the right guy for our secondary to improve. I don't even wanna mention the other secondary players that came to Baltimore and just busted. To me, it seemed like our front 7 were a unit and the secondary was a completely different unit. the second thing that I really hated was when we go vanilla in the fourth quarters and even that has been better since mid season last year. Obviously, management had a talk with pees and Frazier has something to do with it. I don't care how it was fixed, I'm just glad it is just to sum things up a bit, I knew how good this D was on paper but failed to come up with results and even you acgnowlidged that not much has changed. That's why I put most of the blame on the coordinator because it's ultimately his fault when he fails to get the most out of his players for 3 years.
  12. Our pass rush is not elite but it's not bad at all. Compare it to the likes of NE or Pitt or Dallas and you'll realize that we have a much more consistent rush than most. Collapsing at the end of games has gotten better but well c in a few days I we can hold up for a full game.
  13. What an awesome draft class! That makes 2 great class's out of three.
  14. Great post! 1- A big CB across from Jimmy would do us wonders. Young is good against #2 WRs and great as a slot guy. I want him where he's great and occasionally line up outside. 2- Not a big fan of letting Linemen go but if we draft someone in the first 3 rounds and maybe a low risk vet then I'm in peace with losing zuttah. If we lose both zuttah and Wagner then we need 3 quality guys not 2. Absolutely agree with backup tackles. 3- I'm not too worried about our pass rush. Suggs is still a monster! Jernigan is aging like fine wine! Judon is setting the edge as well as upshaw ever did and he's getting to the QB more often. If doom comes back that's just added value.
  15. Dixon is a monster indeed! When he was drafted I thought to myself, meh another developmental RB. But he's really proved that we stole him in the 4th round.
  16. Thank you! For whatever reason, Joe played like he's capeable of playing and for various reasons wasn't playing like that all year. Let's hope it lasts
  17. Looooool not even close but ok. Cam newton and Marjuana ???
  18. I absolutely agree. Thank god we had the lead early coz he would have milked the clock like the Cowboys did
  19. Amen to that. It's amazing how the game changes when your QB isint in his butt most of the time lol
  20. I woudnt say he was hot or cold. It was a simple gameplan and he executed beautifully. id say half his throws were easy as heck and if that's what the D gives you then take it and run!
  21. I saw Flacco throw the ball faster than he ever has. I saw us use screens and misdirection more than ever. That's how you protect your QB when your line is struggling. I hope we continue to use this kind of an offense. We're not always gonna score 35+ but if we can sustain drives and limit TOs then we have a chance against anyone.
  22. I'm starting to think it may be time to give up on an explosive high scoring offense. Just play conservative no turnovers and let the d win us games.
  23. Yes pitta is not the player he once was before two hip surgeries but can he get some respect? He's only having his second best statistical year while taking a 4 mil dollar paycut to do so. Pitta deserves nothing but respect. Just my two cents
  24. I absolutely agree. The dline scares me. If we keep running north and south well probably fail. We gotta go east and west more often and work a few screens early to keep them in check. If Suh gets loose just hold him, Flacco needs to stay upright at all costs. iv been watching Parker lately. He's impressive to say the least. I'd put Jimmy on him as I think young matches up better vs Landry. we need to contain ajayi with minimal LB help and we should be fine. We need this W
  25. Wooooow 18 thumbs down! Sometimes the truth hurts lol maybe delete the second paragraph and post again. Let's see if anyone agrees
