  1. Zuttah is as good as gone, CB wasn't neglected this year like years in the past but wright busted and powers turned into a mess. We need to stop spreading the wealth at CB and just get a 5-7 mil a year CB that would push young to the slot whee he would be great. And sufficiently cover #1s "when" Jimmy is hurt. Young is def a keeper keep your heads up Ravens.
  2. I'm just as sick as you are. But I think play calling was actually pritty good this game. We just couldn't handle Brown without Jimmy. It seemed like every time we overload the box they threw and whenever we dropped extra players in coverage Bell would run for 7 or 8. offensively, Joe put 1 up there for perriman, Waller, and Pitta but all 3 were dropped. Yes I don't expect any WR to catch those on a regular basis because they were really touch catches to make. But on any given Sunday that's 10-14 points. We came out with 6. That's game! And then juice made a fantastic play for that TD but had he fallen a yard or 2 short we would have run the clock out. it was just that kind of a game. Tough fought game and the home team prevailed with 9 seconds left. im just as heartbroken as anyone here but that's football. Win some and you lose some. I was much more disappointed with a few losses earlier in the season where we should have won 10 times out of 10. But oh well. If we have an offseason like last year were back on the map!
  3. Great post. That was a great game. If only we played like that all year! An I absolutely agree we are just a few pieces away from being great.
  4. I love him but even I have to admit that he's having a below average season. He's thrown the ball more than any other QB in the NFL. He should be on pace to 5000 and the TD to INT ratio should be much better. I'm hoping playoff Joe shows up ASAP coz we need that guy
  5. Oh lord, poor bum hurt chargers.... that 5-9 record proves how well off you are without him lol and I think it's hillarious that you had to make an account just to post this nonsense.
  6. I absolutely agree. In football "soccer" coaches vote and they can't vote for their players so it doesn't get biased. Even journalists vote with emotions at times so take that out and send the captains, GMs, and coaches ballots without players on their team to make it fair. then allow fans to vote for starters if they like.
  7. Are you serious? Why would you wish for this game to be a shootout when our Oline is struggling and our secondary is without its best player? Our chances in a low scoring game are much better than our chances in a shootout. Just my humble opinion
  8. I really like Jimmy and think he could be a top CB in this league if he stays healthy. I also empathize because I it's not his fault that he's injury prone. Normally, I'd say stay out till your 100% but now it's all or nothing. We need Jimmy to suck it up, tape that ancle up and give it a go. Heck, super glue that ancle if you have to! I once suffered a terrible ancle sprain and it kept coming back all season. When we reached the semi final, i wore the weirdest brace, sucked it up and begged the coach to give me a chance. I somehow finished with my brothers and was in horrible pain for 10 days till the final. Then sucked it up again and played! I stunk it up in the final and literally limped till the coach took me out and we lost. But I swear to god I would do it again 10 times out of 10 if I had a do over. How can you call yourself a competitor and watch your brothers from the sideline when they are fighting for their life? I truily believe that Jimmy will try his best on game day to play because of how pissed off he was when he got hurt. He even tried to comeback in but couldn't. If he doesn't, I'd have serious doubts about his competitive nature. Get well soon Jimmy, you still have a few more days. Then get used to it because you will never forgive yourself if your brothers lose and you could have done something about it
  9. Great post. I also noticed the same thing. We over compensated to help the secondary and Phili ran quick weird runing plays. I have absolute faith in our run stopping ability but I have to admit that this concerned me the most after the game ended. i saw Flacco make very good decisions for the most part and some really good throws that he's been missing all year. i saw more of a commitment runing the ball for most of the game than iv seen for most of the year. I saw Ducase really struggle and it's not his fault. An undrafted rookie shouldn't be wxpected to do much more in a week 15 game. Had we not made that mistake with 7 mins left this game could have been a blow out. But this is the NFL. A play here and a play there are often the difference between a W or an L. That game agains the Eagles could be the best thing that happened to the Ravens if we learn from it and the worst thing if we get exposed by it. i hope Lewis comes back ASAP and this team officially goes as far as our Oline takes it. Our playoffs have already started. Win or go home babe!
  10. Dear Sarah, I gotta give you credit where credit is due. Because I personally have been hard on you a few times in the past couple of years. Great objective article! The facts you stated were spot on! This is by far the best LFW all year. I don't wanna seem like I'm taking credit away from you other great work but this one was simple but special. 10/10 Thank you!
  11. Someone needs to put a lick on Ben early! He needs to be rattled early and often
  12. Stats rarely ever say the full story. It's stupid to allow fans to vote for something as important as this. It's basically a popularity contest and players on big market teams will regularly get the upper hand. Why not let fans vote for starters but coaches and coordinators vote for who makes it. I would respect it a lot more
  13. It doesn't matter! Weddle already made his pro bowls and isn't desperate to make another one. I for one am glad he signed for the Ravens and he's surely a Pro bowler in my books. Thank you weddle and keep doing what your doing
  14. When you look at Defensive efficiency that's a very important stat. We allow the least amount of points per drive in the NFL and that's a fact. It just happens to be that we punt the ball more than most. Thus, this D has to make more stops than anyone in the NFL because our offense can't sustain drives. If this D played with a top 10 offense it would allow even less points than it currently does. And this D already allows the least PPG in the NFL
  15. Brutal, harsh, disgusting to hear but objective and accurate!
  16. Yeah coz were so effective passing it lol
  17. All roads lead to this. Beat the Eagles! Then we can figure out the rest...
  18. We sure as heck watched the same game but we wore different glasses. I saw a D that played away at NE and held Tom Brady to 2 points per possession without our #1 CB most of the game. If our offense was able to sustain drives and only gave the ball to NE 8 or 9 times then they don't even reach 21 points. If you give Tom Brady 14 chances to make adjustments and attack your weakness then your asking for disaster. Sure we didn't get sacks because Tom regularly released the ball sooner than he wanted to and they punted the ball on a regular basis. The only 2 consistent players were Yanda and Dixon. And yes. It all starts in Phili! One game at a time and if we win we get an early playoff game at Pitt. Not much one can ask for. Let's keep our heads up
  19. I absolutely agree. We've only had 1 complete game but I'm not asking for complete games. Just an average offense and let's see how far this D can take us. We gave the Patriots 14 possessions. 14! I'd like to see how well we match up if we hold to under 10 and actually get some points on the board. im optimistic because I believe if we give this D to any of the top 10 offenses in the NFL they win the SB.
  20. That's hillarious lol But in all seriousness, I doubt it. If your pissed off at yourself you get back in the huddle and demand the ball again and again and again till u get it right.
  21. I don't know if anyone noticed SSS yelling "throw me the ------- ball!" when he made that catch late in the game vs NE. If SSS does retire after this season then I can almost guarantee that he'll have something to say about Joe. untill then, we have the playoffs to make. Keep your head in the game and keep grinding. This team is extreemly talented and I'm trying my best to stay optimistic. If we click then no one will want to play us in the playoffs. If we don't then this could be a loooooong offseason
  22. Your fine weddle. We love everything you bring to the table and sometimes your gonna miss a coverage here or there. We love the sweet and sour that comes from you! Keep following your instincts because your right most of the time. And thank you for taking it like a man but we seriously don't need it. Not from a baller like you
  23. I absolutely agree. It's not fair to young. That's how you setup a rookie to fail.
  24. That was painful! And Tucker had a few near misses after. I hope this didn't get to him. As far as Hester, come on man! Way to put a struggling offense in a nut. Twice!
