  1. James is going directly to the 53 after Urban is sent to IR. He will end up being our 4th CB...Ross will stay PS as insurance policy..
  2. Camp is already sprinting full speed. It was a minor training camp tweak that many of these guys deal with after 4 weeks of 3 hour practices. (not the hamstring!) The Ravens staff has done a great job with Camp and he will be balling this year!!
  3. As far as Camp's injury: It's not a hamstring thank god! It's a minor injury. He has had such a great 4 weeks of camp and when many of the other wr's were off he was out there grinding. He is going to be fine and be our best playmaker this season!
  4. Brown dressed and jogged around during individual drills but that's about it. He has done that a couple times over the last couple weeks but no real running. Periman must have had a slight tear and I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't his second mri..
  5. The Periman story is taking all the attention away from the fact that Brown has a serious injury and hasn't practiced in three weeks and is not even close. There is no way he is a lock at this point and should be slotted as the 6/7 WR
  6. I know the family. Him being out today has nothing to do with his health. He will be back tomorrow
  7. Nothing. Harbs gave him the day...
  8. Loved this!!! lol
  9. Brown has been playing the slot. The outside guys have been LWR 1. Smith 2. Butler RWR 1. Periman 2. Aiken Slot 1.Brown 2. Camp So if Brown misses significant time Camp gets the bump to #1 Slot. Which is where he was in the Cincy game before the hammy so chances are that was the plan anyway. He is by far our best Slot.
  10. TURRON DAVENPORT ‏@TDavenport_NFL 7h7 hours agoQuick note from practice yesterday. Jimmy Smith should have been called for pass interference on INT of Flacco pass intended for Campanaro.
  11. Gerry Sandusky ‏@GerrySandusky Jul 31 Ravens camp day 2 observations: Michael Campanero looks outstanding at receiver and like a natural catching punts.
  12. Many rookies battle thru injuries then get it going and that is what Camp is about to do. People talk like Camp was the only rookie to miss a few games last year due to injury.. Urban-IR Talafero-IR Brooks-IR. Camp came back and had 4 tough catches against the Pats. Just like every other player on the field he needs to stay healthy bla bla bla but as everyone that has played the game knows, injuries are a part of it and sometimes happen. His talent is special and thankfully the coaches know it!
  13. Camp's skill set is different than all the others on the roster. Like many rookies he battled a couple nagging injuries but I have a feeling he is ready to ball out and lock himself in as a long term Raven!!
  14. 100% correct about Aiken never being ahead of Brown on the depth chart. They play different WR positions. Brown was the clear #3 for most of the season. Your wrong about Butler, he was stashed on IR. Never a real injury. But he is a BEAST! I would put him as the #2 right now.
  15. Brown had a groin issue that kept him out of the Tampa game. The following week he was ready to go against Atlanta and actually went out for warm ups but there was a mis-communication with the coaches and he was a healthy scratch. In other words Camp had jumped him on the depth chart. By the second Cincy game Camp had also jumped Jacoby at PR. So he was the #3 WR and #1 PR then the hammy got him. Go back and watch the tape of those games..Coaches made these decisions based on what they see everyday The staff counted on him in crucial times during the patriots playoff game and he had 4 catches 2 of which were "outstanding" according to the tv commentator. Camp can ball and if the injury bug is behind him he is gonna be special this season!!
  16. Don't forget Camp's 4 catches against the patriots for a total of 11!! hahaha
  17. Being a NFL caliber punt returner is not something that everyone can do. Especially someone that only caught a handful in a small conference college..Hence Coach R comments about wanting someone that can do it under the bright lights. Campanaro did it last year and actually caught a punt in the steeler playoff game. He is already back to 100% healthy and hopefully all done with the injury bug. He will be a force to wrecken with this summer and based on the few spectacular catches he made last year and the trust he has built with Coach R. He will be a big part of this team this year. And BTW I told you guys Butler was a BEAST!! He was killen it during pre-season last year also. I think he had a couple TD's in games last year. He slimmed down and got faster.
  18. ok here is some inside scoop for you all.. Waller is a TE not a WR. He doesn't run WR routes. He is a project and will be very good down the road. He will be a PS guy or stash to IR. Carter has been over hyped. Not an NFL caliber WR or return guy. Camp body.. Butler is a monster. He is our best WR and you will all see this during TC. Injuries are a part of the game and Campanaro has been snake bit but the training staff got him right last summer and when they do it again this summer he will be fine. He is our best punt returner and best slot. Talent trumps everything and when his talent is back on the field he will be considered a lock again and a fan favorite..
  19. Don't give up on Camp just yet! The Ravens staff got him ready for training camp last summer and he had a great camp with no injuries. I'm hearing that the problem is he over does it and doesn't respect recovery time when he is training on his own. If he comes back in training camp 100% and stays that way like he did last summer, he will be on the 53 because his talent will be better.

  21. Dont sleep Jeremy Butler!
  22. Campanaro because he is not just a slot receiver. One of his nice catches last season was on Joe Haden from outside and another catch against the Patriots late in the fourth qrter was from the outside. He will be a great Punt Returner and Harbs is always talking him up! Also don't sleep on Jeremy Butler!
  23. Camp will be the # 3 WR & #1 PR just as he was for the second Cincy game before the hammy. He came in and beat those guys out as a 7th rd pick. Next season it will be he and Breshad. As far as his "Injury prone" tag from college. As a long time Deac fan, I saw him touch the ball every other play during his time here wether it was a run, catch or return. That raises your risk level a bit. He is as tough as nails and is our all time leading reception leader for a reason. Harbs said it in his pre draft presser. Who could be this years Wagner? "first name that came to mind was Campanaro"
